  1. Dont want to pick holes and make Sonia look like a c**t, but surely if masks are effective (which they must be in her opinion as she is advocating) and she herself followed the rules or maintaining wearing a mask in public places while at the OVO (FFS) Hydro then surely she would not have actually contracted Covid as the manky old bit of cloth she had on would have given her protection?
  2. Had managed to forget that. But in context that was a Rangers side who were still paying the 2nd highest wages in Scottish football even when in the seaside leagues.
  3. Grown adults (mainly men) who cut about in club football shirts when not either A) at a game or B) partaking in sports activities (to classify as sports wear) are probably the same folks that refer to their club of choice as 'the bhoys', 'the gers', 'the dandies', 'jam tarts' etc etc just come across as absolute weapons grade fuds.
  4. Ofere was our Drogba, maybe over playing it but he was big, strong and technical gifted with an eye for goal. An actual football mercenary who came in a did the business. Remember him scoring against Celtic in Inverness when we drew 1-1 then literally days later scoring at Hampden (probably best football day out ever) when we punted them out of the cup and fucked their treble. (I would link to vids of these great moments but I've no clue lol) Great days back then when the top clubs actually feared playing us and we did some pretty sexy football..........maybe BD should make all our team watch re-runs of these games each day as inspiration for what hard work and top attitude can get even average players.
  5. Reading today that Alli hasnt performed yet at Everton because he is just too good and that's why he dropped off at Spurs too, he needs to be in a flying side with flair like Liverpool or Man City. Evidence if needed that it really is time for Warnock to step away from football and possibly society too.
  6. 2 odious clubs who only care about each other as do the fans. They could genuinely set up a 2 team league and play each other every week - its all their fans want to see them beat each other (and TBF so do we as then they could f**k off). Ironically tonight Rangersis playing in a European QF and its probably a safe assumption that a large percentage of the clubs fans would have rather seen the club loose out several rounds ago if it meant they were still top of the League (populated by diddy teams other than their other half). The focus on Rangers is Celtic and vice versa, its not always about doing well themselves its about the other doing worse and its all centered around 9 in a row and Scottish trebles. Big fish in a small pond syndrome.
  7. Unfortunately while we may dream of removing the clubs from the Scottish football system, they would still exist as entities to follow regardless of where the games were played and therefore so would their fans and the prejudiced views in society
  8. Think Ayr are safe, so hopefully we can scrape a win which will give good momentum going into the Killie game for an Ayrshire double. Scrappy 1-2
  9. Same old shit, nothing changes and never will - just add it to the list along other actions which shame the Scottish game. There will be some initiatives launched, outrage tweeted or in media interviews by (including but not limited to) - politicians (who see it as point scoring opportunities), the police, clubs involved (shite media spin) and then the SPFL board. We all know what needs to happen - guilty clubs hit hard with big fines (maybe proportional to the gate money income or higher), serious warnings then closed door games or docking points. None of it will happen though - we will be discussing this or another similar topic/event next season and the one after into infinity.
  10. Serious motivation out there now for all the guys but especially the likes of Robertson, tierney, mcginn, Gilmour who have the potential to light up the world Cup for us
  11. No hes just a good FA puppet and politician probably briefed on this. Considering the comments he made regarding the booing of maguire being compared to that which Barnes used to receive in the 80s/90s indicates he's just another fucking football moron. Disappointed but not shocked the English media never hung him out to dry on that!!!
  12. Drawing European teams does have the advantage we kind of know them and some like us, may find it harder to adapt to the climate so does give a bit of a chance over South/Central American or African options. On the other hand its the WORLD cup, not the EURO's/NL, so going there just to play teams we do regular is a bit boring and uninspiring IMO.
  13. Wales are a one man team. Removing him, the rest of the talent is no better than ours, infact on paper I'd suggest we have better options. Littered with Premiership players and some Championship. man by man, there's plenty for Scotland to be positive about - get the containment of Bale right and its closer than some on here think. Not sure why so many think Wales are something to fear
  14. Hickey being linked with a move to Newcastle for £15-20M
  15. TBH, if FIFA would use this it would get past the pain that is trying to watch these drawn out tournament draws
  16. Blame Brexit for that, be a generation of bairns growing up now with that thought too............
  17. Really want to avoid European teams like England/France/Belgium/Germany/Holland not from a better than us perspective but its boring seeing the same opposition appear every few years. So an ideal group for entertainment would be Brazil / Mexico /Japan Looking at one to have the best chance (on paper) to qualify from Qatar / Swiss / Iran or Canada
  18. Doesnt matted where it is the folks of Inverness have no interest and will always make excuses why its not better supported In town - no parking Current location - too far from town/cold etc Any location around the city - it'll be a long walk for someone and inaccessible for away fans as there is no infrastructure Not enough pubs on route etc etc Time everyone gets on the same page with its location being its home and the club do more to improve the experience as that's all that can be changed now, which IMO is probably no better (or might even be worse - rose tinted spec and all that) from when we were in Leagues 1 & 2.
  19. As usual, there will be quite a lot of free agents from Premiership downwards, which will make for some interesting signing opportunities but the way the league system is set up I's suggest teams in the Championship at either end don't benefit. Nobody will want to shoot their load early and sign if there is a chance they may be promoted or relegated as it'll dictate budgets etc, so there is only a handful of clubs who theoretically could plan early and get the best pickings.
  20. More embarrassing or even disturbing is the quotes from the England manager, choosing to exercise his right to condemn those fans who boo but then comparing it to the boo's in the 80's & 90's players like Barnes received. The idea that he thinks this is even the same level or scenario is shocking and I wonder what any of his players like Sterling or Rashford etc who actively campaign against racism think of this very poor comparison by Southgate.
  21. While not everyone may like the location of stadium Easy transport links directly onto the A9 20 min walk from town centre which has both train & bus hubs Plenty parking not just at the stadium (which TBH hardly anyone uses) but also in the surrounding areas as industrial estate use never coincidences with wknd or evening use There's probably nowhere else that offers the same infrastructure that either has available land or development potential which the club could afford to transform. Perhaps the bigger issue is the stadium (not the structure) but the club is not developing the experience - perhaps introducing a fanzone with some outdoor stalls selling drinks, beer and various foods (perhaps from local suppliers) with entertainment and screens pre-match might be an idea. Get something that fans want to arrive a bit earlier or stay around later. Football has to move forwards and understand its not just the on pitch product people want now (especially the fair weather fan) it needs to be a full, value for money experience worth repeating for more than just loyalty.
  22. Desperate attempts by the board to show they are in touch with the fans with this idea. Whoever came up with it will be thinking it'll stop criticisms about the gap between the two..............only to make a cnut out of it and open the chasm further
