    My main issue with him this season is steaming in to the 30/70's. There's usually one a game at least but we've not really suffered for it. Controversially I'd probably rather have Ash over Andy.

    The problem with Ash is he thinks he's better than he is IMO. Leads to some horrendous errors but for the most part he good. Another thing to bear in mind is a player with his genetics would be nowhere Aberdeen if he was even a bit better than he is.

    He absolutely was not signed as a back up initially. Anderson was coming to the end of his time and this was his replacement. Taylor has been pretty good this season but has never grown out if thinking he can win every ball. Allegedly Devlin will be offered a new deal. Has been fit for mist of the season but has a major fall out with McInnes. Probably bullshit of course.

    A massive portion of that is McInnes and Docherty's wage. We've also cleared a bit of deadwood since. I'd be amazed if we aren't paying quite a more on player wages than you guys but it's not going to be £3m more.

    I think the past few games has shown Campbell is more than good enough to play. Agree that he should have had at least one loan spell by now though.

    Should have posted this in here rather than the manager thread populated by Bams. New interview with Dave up. Whilst I do think he makes empty promises all the time I'd be lying if I said I didn't go from underwhelmed to a bit excited.

Biggest take from that is we're going to be entertained. Also drops a bit of an update but sounds like we're going with the beach area renovation stadium but forcing the councils hand.

    You're absolutely correct. When managers get the bullet it's usually due to some poor run of form from months before and not the current run of form. I couldn't care what you suspect. I'm hoping you find another thread to bore folk to tears on though.

    Before that we were in third, with two games in hand over fourth. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

    Which shows you how poor the league has been this year. Go look at our run of form. The transfers were slowly getting worse. We used to sign players from other teams before they hit their peak. Derek gas run out of ideas. Top six was no longer a certainty, honestly speaking.
