    As much as I see where you are coming from we are currently displaying relegation form. On our budget that's unacceptable no matter who is in charge.

    It's not so much that McInnes isn't a good manager. He clearly is. He'd run out of ideas. John McMaster gave an interview to the Daily Record and basically hits a lot of the main points of where it's went wrong.

    I'm not fussed who takes the role to be honest. It doesn't matter who has done what elsewhere. It's abut how the club supports the new manager and gives him the best support possible to become a success.

    I was actually sure you had with Wright but thought I'd end up being wrong if I posted. McInnes has been at it for 8 years. He could probably do with a break. By the time travel restrictions are over he might not be able to go to Florida without speaking to potential transfer targets on the phone whilst queueing in the theme parks!

    I would think so. That usually gets kept quiet so the club haven't stated that. I'm not believing it was mutual consent.

    @Dons_1988 nailed it. We were fantastic on the counter. As soon as teams cottoned on to that Pawlett was finished at Aberdeen. He's had to change the style of play several times. Unfortunately that's where we've got to now.

    McInnes and Dochertys compensation figure was around £1.5m.

    Pawlett and Hayes were a massive part of how we played that season. Had been rumoured for a while that Pawlett would miss the final. Hayes was injured instantly. Awful to sit through. Would be typical Aberdeen to take 40,000 to a cup final and get horsed.

    Hahaha. I spewed almost immediately after getting off the train. Managed to get a sausage supper from a chipper, went on what felt like the longest walk to the stadium ever and felt sober by kick off. Bleezing minutes after the game again.
