Irrespective of the teams involved it's no longer down to a penalty being given within the rules of the game, it's too often the result of Oscar winning performances. (Or pantomime one's like last night).

Absolutely this. The Donalds took a risk with him and it was the second best managerial risk they took. Turned the club in the right direction and heading for a long awaited Cup. The AFC George Kinnell obit (link back a page or so) tells a lot about the state of the club at that time. A great man and - as you say - underappreciated by history. But a Hibee.

A fantastic read with some fine photos of memorable names (for those of a certain age, anyway). A bit like recent times, a squad which should have achieved so much more.

Mr Cormack is doubtless waiting patiently for a well-known, experienced manager with great knowledge of the Scottish game and a myriad of contacts to be released from Ross County. A managerial swap mayhap - ensuring a tight competition for 11th and 12th league places.
