  1. We had the same problem as our daughters window faces west. We were putting blankets round the window to try and block the sun from getting through. She's still going to her bed late around 8.30 to 9.30 but considering my wife is off all summer and I'm working flexi-furlough now, my daughter sleeping into half 8 everyday is very welcome
  2. I'd keep Syvertsen, he's an exciting player and one that can find the net. I just hope the year out doesn't f**k him too much. If he can agree decent enough terms then aye, keep him.
  3. Aye that leagues a fucking joke, it's the glorified boys club league. Wait until the ex-junior clubs work their way in there, the likes of Cumbernauld colts will slip down the leagues faster than you can shout Bomber must go.
  4. New Borussia shirt. Thankfully no longer have the big yellow Postbank sponsor anymore thanks to the new deal with Flatex. Can't say I'm a big fan, no black or green on the shirt and the pattern is random as f**k. Puma used to make class shirts, no idea what's going on.
  5. Wanted Heidenheim to win this but after seeing this pish with employees rattling cowbells and fucking drums, that pish is tinpot material, keep them down.
  6. Just watched that Eurovision movie. Always had a thing for Rachel McAdams but her with that accent in this movie Really enjoyed the movie, I'm a sucker for Eurovision so naturally I was going to like it but the storyline was good and ofcourse Will Farrell and his crazy ways was always going to put a good spin on it. Get ja ja ding dong on!!
  7. Nae idea who that was! Maybe not a bad thing for the boy as that was a fucking honking team and if we remembered who they were the chances are they were fucking awful.
  8. Absolutely! Massive disappointment and a decent wage stuck on the bench and when he wasn't on the bench he was offside.
  9. Last day of the Strava 100km challenge for June and smashed it on the last day! Would've preferred a faster average speed but considering I've been out 3 times in the last 3 weeks, I can be quite happy with this.
  10. Fucking hell, makes my skint and bruised knees from my incident 2 weeks ago look like a wee fall . Hope you're alright mate
  11. Clyde. I know the Manager of the U18s, Danny Lennon wants the boys involved in the 1st team but wants them out in the juniors to toughen up for a full season and Kilsyth is ideal due to its close location to Broadwood and with both lads at New College Lanarkshire it works well for everyone. Mckirdy is a player like, seen him a few times last year.
  12. Turns out you boys are getting 2 young lads on a Season Loan from us. Kyle Arbuckle and Dean McKirdy. Defender and a Striker, the latter scoring 35 goals in 30 games for our U18's.
  13. Fucking brilliant . Good old Hunburg or as they said in Germany HahaSV
  14. My Daughter turned 2 on Sunday, crazy how fast time goes by! Didn't get to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday so done it yesterday. Watching wee Juliana follow her big Brother around the place is so cute, you realise how lucky you are . Got this cracking wee picture of them on Sunday.
  15. Likely the virus will be away by then or atleast no longer a threat. October is what I'd go for but I'd rather we played the full 36 games and fit in 9 mid week games and scratch the challenge cup
  16. Falkirk have went from having their best shirt in years to the worst, that shirts brutal. I notice a lot of kids round here with Falkirk gear made by Joma, I'm guessing they provide the training gear?
  17. Started off every 2nd day doing 20km and quickly took that to 26km.syarted doing longer runs and going out atleast 4 or 5 days a week so for 4 or 5 weeks I was exceeding 100km a week mostly averaging 150km. Last week I returned to work so only managed 1 run out which was a 70km effort, week before that I reached 255km. Being back at work is the killer now, still hoping to average 100km to 150km a week. I'm wanting to get down to 75kg so got a lot of work to do. I should also add, I've not had a breakfast roll since March and my lunches are always sandwiches. My work takes me abroad a lot and I'm often eating lunch and dinner in restaurants or off buffets, obviously haven't done that since March so that's helped.
  18. Wind is a b*****d mate, as you get fitter you deal with it better. I usually plan my routes to have the wind in my advantage. For example routes that involve going uphill, having the wind behind you makes a difference. At the same time if I have a long straight, for example Stirling to Grangemouth, then I prefer to have the wind at my back as its frustrating cycling into a wind for a long period of time, especially when that road is completely open, no trees or built up areas to keep the wind down. This is usually where canal paths are decent. Lastly, few guys have mentioned the gears and this is a biggy. If you're still getting into it I'd suggest having your chain on 2 and use the rear gear set. For example if you're going downhill put it up to the highest number, on a flat drop down one or two and if going into a wind or uphill then drop down to one of the lower options. It's not a race so take your time. If you try to do too much too quickly you'll quickly lose interest and come to dislike it. Also, don't compare yourself to the lycra brigade. Those guys are jumping about in bikes that cost anything from 1500 to 8000 quid. Also these are guys who've been cycling for years, you see them on Strava clocking up 160km journeys at an average speed of 32km/h. They'll be super fit. My first outing in my hybrid back in March I done 16km with an average speed of 19.5km/h. I was fucked after it. On Sunday I cycled 70km with an average speed of 25.5km/h. I was 93kg in March (34 years old) and now I'm 83kg. The bike gets you fitter and its great for weight loss! Stick at it mate
  19. They supply everyone and their dog in the FK area, except Falkirks main team but they do all their youth teams. As for Senior teams they do Stenhousemuir, well I'm assuming that considering the wee Stenny van that cuts about here has a big RJM sports ad on the back of it.
  20. Nah my son is 2007. Adolfo I'm not sure, his daughter is starting high school so I'm thinking she is just before that date.
  21. Cracking list mate! I've got 2 by the way. Also Adolfo Rios, I know him - he also has 2.
