  1. I think he is an actually a troll, or this thread has given him a life. Perhaps a bit of both. I just haven't worked out how to mute him.
  2. I took this game in yesterday as a neutral and this is spot on. Airdrie did play well, but those goals!!!!! The third was a sickener to lose (almost as bad as Stranraer's 65 years lob at Stair Park last Saturday). Rae handled the ball out of his area and was rightly booked. The whistle was blown for a free kick, which Ayr exploited big time. A shame that Rae and others sought to remonstrate with the ref after the whistle giving Ayr that empty net. In my many years of football, I have yet to see a referee say:- :On no! I'm being surrounded by petulant players here. I will change my mind". Stupid stupid goal to concede! Rae was also well at fault for the first goal too. Is he up to that standard? Felt sorry for your man, Watson, I think is was for losing the ball for the second goal. Otherwise I thought he was a great player. Your no5 in particular was a class act. From a neutral point of view, the first half was a belter. At least as good as the faith Rovers v Dundee United game on the telly on Friday night. The second half was scrappy and untidy. Were I an Airdrie fan, I'd be mad at the chucking away of points like that. That game was there for the winning.
  3. I beg to differ. We have been very consistent this season.
  4. Correct. In every area, we gave ourselves a showing up. Little wonder people are pointing and laughing.
  5. That ample kitman is an embarrassment. Giving us a showing up like that! We are giving people enough reason to point and laugh right now without that clown behaving like that.
  6. No, we are not deluded. We have been beaten convincingly this season by both Brechin and Stirling Uni. That performance was as bad as anything this season, whether we look better on paper or not. Sadly we are too far behind now. The focus needs to be on beating EK. I'n not confident and can see us making trips to Central Park next season.
  7. Chris Johnston to stick one past us. Bank on it.
  8. Checked out train times and it seems that a bus replacement service runs from Ayr. The bus www.citylink.com seem a good option for £22.50 return. I agree. A must win. However I only see at best a draw.
  9. Woeful. Lazy, and when he did try he looked like Bambi on ice. I had heard that he had gone to Finn Harps and scored twice in 12 appearances. If that be the case, then his game has certainly improved. Though who would want a striker with that goal to game ratio?
  10. Couldn't make it up tonight, but I fear that that loss has cost us our league status. Forfar and Elgin are not so bad that they will lose points at the rate that we would need them too. I fear that the damage done by Duffy is too much to overcome, even for Ian McCall.
  11. Spot on. Ross Lyon is a completely different player in the new regime. Delighted to see that, though not quick to pass plaudits during the 90 mins. I did that against Bonnyrigg Rose. Felt for big Logan at the goal. He and Ray Grant were outstanding against Aberdeen He has great presence and talent too. More and more, I'm loving Liam Scullion. Have to say that it's great having Craig Howie back. I think that we really have the makings of a team. But as David W says, we need to start winning games.
  12. I think he has improved of late. OK, keeping quiet about him during the games. Said at the Bonnyrigg Rose game that he was having a good game and he then sold a goal. But I think he is much improved since McCall came.
  13. Any tips on parking for away fans please? Thanks.
  14. A much better performance and a much needed win, even if we did fade a bit in the second half. I thought that Ross Lyon played well in the first half. He certainly made up for it in the second half. A nightmare. To me, the game changed when Ray Grant was hooked. I thought that he was solid. And what a delivery from Scullion for that second goal. Surprised too that they left it so late to bring on Osolodor. Ah well, it's the Clyde way I know. But my nerves were shot for the last five minutes.
  15. A spot on comment. We have done these guys no favours - sorry, Duffy and McLean have done these guys no favours, signing them when they are clearly not good enough. What will be being moved on do to their confidence, or their self-esteem? Duffy has messed up individuals, as well as our club.
  16. Beg to differ sir. We did have A shot on target. I remember being amazed. Easily gathered by Jamieson though. I am amazed at the gracious Stenny fans on here saying that there was not much between the sides. One very obviously looked to be at the top of the league, and the other, the bottom. One looked to have a cohesive squad with decent players (with the exception of Gregor Buchanan) and the other didn't. Today was a horrific performance from us on the back of a decent shift in a monsoon at Dumbarton last week. AsI said brfore, it is going to be a very long second half of the season for us.
  17. I think we shall see a total different LD in the second half of the season with decent players around him.
  18. A fair assessment of the last game. Three points were well and truly thrown away by Stenhousemuir who should have had us well beaten after 45 minutes. Better than us all over the park. We even let Gregor Buchanan stick one past us. Our current squad is still the shambles cobbled together by Jim Duffy. Some potential, with others just not good enough. As we won't have any new signings in by next Saturday, I would take a point just now. Our main aim is not to be adrift when the transfer window opens.
  19. We still have a shambles of a squad that was assembled by Jim Duffy. In most of our games, it has looked as though Jürgen Klopp would make something of that mob. Until we have new faces in, we will always underachieve.
  20. It was, and always would have been, a huge point away from home for us.
  21. Agree completely. Leslie should have been on a lot sooner.
