A dreadful quality game. Saw some people say both teams would miss big chances and it would end in a poor 0-0. They were right.

Not because Graham has been in good form, because we only have one fit first team striker in the squad. If Rudden goes off we will either shove someone out of position or bring on a youth player.

Brian Graham out for today’s game is not a good start. The line up is not bad in fairness, but missing Graham and Williamson is a blow.

Given the fitness record of our current strike force and our lack of goals, we are surely looking at brining in another striker in January.

That’s the same with us, we seem to struggle more against teams that sit in. So both sides could try exploit the others weakness and both sit in and a mind numbing game will ensue, or both teams with go for it which I think will more likely be the case.

Huge game this. If we lose this I can’t see Falkirk slipping up enough for us to try overtake them, Airdrie have done Thistle a huge favour today by stopping us from being cut totally adrift. Going to be a nervy encounter.

We were brutal today. Another flat performance in front of goal, a striker is needed in January. Peterhead battled and got the win, we were poor and didn’t deserve much from the game.

Zak Rudden and Ciaran McKenna on the bench today. Our first sizeable bench of the season, good to see.

I believe if Fraser had never gotten that injury that affected the rest of his time with us, he could have gotten himself a decent move down south. You have to remember when he was on his top form for us he was only 19/20 so he had so much time on his side. It is really sad to see how his career never took off the way it could have pre injury.

Three wins and a draw from our last four league outings. We are starting to find some form and are looking more like a team that actually wants to win the title. Defensively we are looking good, with five consecutive clean sheets, going forward we have been creating a lot of chances but not scoring enough. Peterhead have won three times this season and I expect a difficult encounter. Simply we have to win this game, we can’t be dropping more points especially at home.

To summarise - It was not a foul, there was no foul before or after the clip in the build up to the goal, the ref did not miss any foul in the build up to the goal, the Forfar twitter was just asking to get the piss taken out of them and the Forfar manager was just being bitter.

I genuinely don’t think it is a foul. Docherty backs into him slightly and the guy throws himself to the floor spinning while he does it, the players barley touched each other.

He also tucked away the second goal to be fair.

A good three points. Another clean sheet today which is a big positive and two goals up the other end. Pixellot worked its usual wonders so I’m looking forward to seeing the highlights for the second goal. The talk of a foul before our first goal I didn’t see, again I’ll wait till the highlights. I don’t agree we acted ‘big time boys’. If both our goals should not have stood like some Forfar fans are saying, then that is not our doing that’s the officials and secondly kicking the ball away is done by almost every team when they are winning, it’s not exclusive to one of the bigger teams in the league.

What was controversial about the goal?

Breen meant to be back in the squad for tomorrow. However, McCall saying that there’s no way Niang is going to be dropped.

Do Forfar use Pixellot?

I like the look of him on the left side. Wasn’t cutting it on the right, but he looks a lot more comfortable and is playing better at left back.

Against Dumbarton we were ridiculously wasteful and should have won the game by at least three goals. Defensively we have been looking good with four consecutive clean sheets. We can’t afford to be dropping more points, so nothing less than a win is required on Saturday. Forfar Athletic’s squad I know little about. No game in this league is going to be easy though, so I expect a challenge.

I am only repeating what McCall has said about Lyons in interviews.

McCall said it was to do with him not stepping up to full time training the way they had hoped he would. There is still the majority of the season for him to prove himself, which I’m hopeful he will get the chance to do.
