Think most Killie fans would’ve had him back on the blink of an eye ! With our lack of a goal threat and his familiarity with Killie I’d have thought we would’ve made an offer for him tbh.
That sort of sums us up at the moment , all over the place wrt recruitment
Killie's loss is our gain I guess haha.

If you can get Irwin to play like he was before he left us ,you’ll have a very decent goal threat . He’s not prolific but isn’t greedy and sets up others .
Seems the type of player who would do well up front with McKay.

Tiny tots not wanted.
We still only have one left back. But he’s really tall, so that’s alright. On that topic, do we have the tallest team in the league?
I'd make the argument for most handsome also but that's neither here nor there

I haven't seen Laidlaw do much wrong so far.
Made a few good saves in the saints and Montrose games from what I've seen!

That would make a bit of sense, I guess. It makes sense of McManus going out on loan

Commiserations on the signing of Jack Ruddy. Truly one of the worst keepers at Ayr United in my lifetime.
Would imagine he's only going to be back up anyway...

I hope that I can sign my contract with saints only to then decide I no longer want to go and stay with County.

Some talk about maybe Fyvie signing.
Anyone else heard anything?
have we not filled our quota for injury prone players?

I think we are in need of a left back, goalkeeper and a striker if we are playing with 2 up front

Imo the problem is that Watson is our best centre half at the moment. Even yesterday when our back 5 looked very shaky (to put it mildly) Watson was the one covering when Fontaine and Grivosti were beaten or caught on the ball.
But if Fraser is out or off form, it's a double negative to remove Watson from the centre back pairing to play right back. One things for sure, there's a lot of work still to be done with this squad and Grivosti isn't a right back.
FWIW my first pick back four with our current squad would be:
Fraser, Watson, Morris, Chalmers
wow we are light at left back

I think Grivo is one of if not our best option at CB. Watson and Grivo would be my starting two

His agent was sitting with our board of directors yesterday. Seems to be a bit of gossip doing the rounds that he'll be signing for us imminently but who knows.
It makes sense him signing for you lot tbh

We already have a decent CB, he's injured for another 2-3 weeks, we will have a striker in in the next week, all is rosy imo.
Is that Liam Gordon? I haven't seen him play much personally tbh. are Stevie May talks still ongoing or is that pretty much dead in the water?

From what I seen yesterday I'd say that if McKay was playing for you you'd have won that game, your squad is screaming out for a decent striker and centre half.

A midfield with both Chalmers and Vigurs doesn't work for me. Two players who try and do similar things, (aside from Vigurs has a no-look 50 yard through ball in the locker)
from what I've seen so far i'd say if Lindsay goes we're looking at a midfield of Draper, Spittal and Vigurs.
Saturday raised a few red flags despite the win.
Grivosti is never a full back.
Fontaine looked tired and leggy.
Despite that, Spittal looks great! And we have forwards in McKay and Stewart who I think can do damage at this level given the right service.

Helps? It’s all we have left to cling to. That, or for that guy who chopped his fingers off to come out of retirement.Who's the development keeper now that Munro is on loan?

If it helps Laidlaw has looked very solid so far.
