I’ve not tried a 1 rep max for bench in a while, stopped doing them once I hit 100kg, maybe give it a go over the next week and see what happens, never tried a 1 rep max for squatting cause I’m scared i either shit myself or seriously injure myself.
Got a 200kg deadlift I’m quite chuffed with though!200kg is a class lift

I've been walking to work for the best part of a year. According to the pedometer app on my phone it's about 3.65 miles either way and I am burning ~1000 calories a day.
I'm still a fat b*****d though. What gives?
what is your diet like?

Puts my 60KG best to absolute shame! No reason you shouldn't be as proud of your 60kg.
Weight is weight, it's the effort you put in that matters!

Congrats! Any tips/methods to increasing your bench quicker? That's some amount of weight.
Work up to a heavy single then do your working sets after, so your chest is used to the idea of one rep of heavy weight.
warm up your triceps before benching.
try messing around with your grip, I've got a narrow grip when I bench as my shoulder dexterity isn't great and it feels comfortable but a lot of people prefer a wider grip as the reps can be more controlled and less distance to travel.
That's what I'd suggest but I'm not a pro or anything haha.

I'm seeing that the boy Livi have just signed is meant to be rapid?
Can we just scrap the football and have him race Power and winners team gets the three points?

I mind he was meant to be all over Darren Till when he was over here a few months back.

I'm curious to find out what kind of jokes she tells. No doubt somebody somewhere could take offence - if they were extremely petty.
It reminds me of Isaac Hayes when he provided the voice of Chef on South Park - he was quite happy to rip the piss out of various religions, until they got round to Scientology and he resigned from the show.
Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones springs to mind...

I can guarantee that female comedian that's complaining about Olaf's joke is the absolute epitome of unfunny.
Imagine being an actual 'comedian' and being offended by such a tame joke.

Always liked Ross County; ever since it was revealed that we shared a common "opinion" of ICT.
Will be interesting to see Josh Mullin again - sometimes he could be a fantastic player and other times more-or-less invisible. Who he'll be up against though is a question; either McMillan; Lamie (great player but really too slow for Mullin in my opinion) or Savane.
Also whilst on the subject - where's a good place to go for a pint and a bite to eat near the ground?
Mallard for a pint is the obvious answer as it is literally a 30 second walk from the ground.

Sees Midge playing off McMenamim.
I need to lie down for a moment.
in terms of partnerships that's the best I've seen at county aside from maybe Boyce and Curran.
I'm surprised we haven't tried Midge in there more often!

Yeah thats always been the aim, so I can take 5.10 off for that last 0.5 and assuming the 10k doesnt finish on a massive hill my last 2 should be faster so hopefully maybe sneak below 55 mins. Il do that run another cluple of times in the nect 2 weeks I think and see how I go
good stuff, planning on attempting a 10k tonight myself but it's absolutely chucking it down right now so I'm not sure...
do you get any issues with joints when running on roads and what not?

Power and Paton both scoring is a positive considering they'll be in and about the first team.

Hoping the game at the weekend was just a blip and that we can kick on from two pretty good league results and get the three points here.
Livi seem to have done a total 180 this year and moved from being a team who don't score many but are solid at the back, to a side who have a bit about them going forward but look a bit shaky at the back.
Can see our wingers being key in this one, Power off of the bench could be a huge asset if he's fit.
2-1 County.

We won't, don't panic.
More likely to sign van der Weg.
are you not looking for cover at left back?

If you signed Jason Naismith I would be extremely jealous, best right back County have had in years.

Big Kenny is away (again)
Well we are definitely short of Left Back cover now, Wish Kenny all the best wherever he ends up (maximum security prison, for mass murder)

I agree with you, I've heard good things about McPake, if DKD leaves as has been suggested and the management team like the look of him too, then there's clearly a place in the squad for a right winger.
Spittal it would appear is more of a central or left sided player. Armstrong is very left sided and McManus is away. We have been lucky that Mullin hasn't missed many matches but he does attract heavy tackles, it would be prudent to have adequate cover.
Is Power not cover for that side? I'm all for bringing in players that will improve the squad, surely Rangers would only be loaning him out to a side he was more or less guaranteed game time at and not just cover in case of injuries/change of shape?

Erwin to score.
Also Power will run really fast to the amazement of all in attendance.
1-3 away win.

Was in a similar situation a few years back with a colleague. I’d arrive outside (at the agreed time), phone him and tell him I was outside. 15 minutes later he’d rock up breakfast muffin in hand. This happened everyday for 2 weeks.
Eventually told him I’d give him 2 minutes after the agreed time and if he wasn’t there I was leaving and he could explain to his boss why he wasn’t able to get into work. I had some irrational rage during that period.people who are given a set time to be ready for and continuously fail to be ready at said time are the worst kind of scum.

Started giving a lassie a lift to work every day cos she doesn't drive. It's only 10 minutes out my way so not a huge deal. But she's often running late, and leapt in the car this morning clutching her breakfast ... toast and peanut butter - and then proceeded to drop crumbs and stink out my motor on the way into work.
Am I right in thinking this is some shameful shit?
I would at least have the common courtesy to ask if it's alright to eat In the car?
If I were you i'd have had the windows down the whole way.

I would go on record as saying the steak pies are the best you will have this season, Haggis pies are also 10/10
