135KG Bench Press done fairly comfortably, Pretty buzzing not going to lie.
140 by the end of next month hopefully.
Going to try 110kg for 5x5 this week.

Probably due to increased game time, which he didn't really get with us.
If I remember right he was doing okay in the league cup games with you guys before signing for us.
We are spoiled for choice when it comes to strikers at the minute, and long may it continue!

We received a "nominal" fee.
Another one of Stubbs "genius" decisions.
Stewart has certainly progressed far more quickly than I thought. Obviously his decision making, composure in front of goal and first touch have improved, as these were his main areas for improvement.
Good luck to him, except against us. Although he's bound to score against us.
His finishing has improved to the point where I think he's going to score whenever he's in the box.

Lee Erwin has a real task on his hands getting into this team if the front two continue to play like they did on Saturday.

Get the ball into the box for him and it looks like he'll out jump most defenders.
He's 11 foot tall so I don't even think he needs to jump

Where did Ross Stewart come from? c**t score every week it seems.
We signed him from St Mirren on a free I believe, was at Alloa on loan the season before.
He's one of those players who seems to get better every week.

That was as comfortable a win as we are likely to get in this division,
Accies played at a pre-season pace.
Stewart, Gardyne, Mullin, Gardyne, Chalmers and Kelly all stand outs.

Laidlaw
Fraser Grivosti Watson Kelly
Mullin Spittal Vigurs Gardyne
Mckay
Stewart
If Draper is fully fit he should start and hope we finally get to see what Erwin is all about.
So happy proper football is back!

That being said £25 to watch the most handsome team in Scottish football play at home is good value imo

Jeez wasn't expecting it to be that steep, Glad I got a season ticket for £100 now

guy at my gym was doing 165kg for reps and got three people to spot him at the same time.
it was about a year ago when I was doing 100kg for triples thinking I was the man and it very much put me in my place
(he was absolutely roided out his nut in fairness)

I fully expect big Kenny to murder a human being in cold blood on Saturday

Agreed, there's a hell of a lot of promise in Power, but he's still raw at times. He'll be best used stretching tiring full backs with balls over the top.
When you're that fast it'll always get fans excited, I wonder how long it'll be before teams realise he's absolutely rapid and double up/sit off him so he can't burn them.

Power is going to be missing for a couple of weeks after tweaking his hamstring.
So it'll probably be Mullin and Gardyne out wide.
Do you think he was in with a shout of starting? To me personally everything about him screams Impact sub,
I agree though that it'll most likely be Midge and Mullin out wide, Would like to see Spittal start also.

If we have aspirations of doing anything more than finishing 11th this season this is a game we should be winning with all due respect to accies.
2-1 County, Mullin and Stewart for County and Alston for Hamilton.

Big Lee to get a few minutes tomorrow surely?

I've tried to adopt the Dorian Yates method of training in a big hoody and joggers and I quite enjoy it. Sweat like f**k too

Went to the gym last night. Was about 40c in there which meant I was pishing sweat just getting changed. Positive to that was that there were only 4 other people in using the place, so managed to get round at a decent pace without getting annoyed at anyone.
I prefer training in high heat, really lets you get a proper sweat on.
This weather is bizarre for numbers in the gym, it's either heaving or dead.

Vigurs has A LOT to do to prove he's a contender for a start, he looks well off the pace atm
I agree, he's clearly the most technically gifted midfielder we have and you see it when he has time to pick a pass, he does seem like his fitness isn't the best at the minute though.

Yet Draper, who seems to be very injured, gets in? Draper and Vigurs both start in County’s best XI for me.
I think Spittal will replace Lindsay just fine. Lindsay had an excellent season, but I don’t think he’s irreplaceable.Draper is the only central player we have that does what he does, if we are still to get another signing in i'd prefer us to go for a Draper type of player for when he breaks down mid season. Never seen a county side this bad for injuries.
Spittal I agree looks like he could be used in Lindsay's role.
Too early for Paton to step up?

Does our current system work without Lindsay?
I'd suggest we play something along the lines of
Laidlaw
Fraser Watson Grivo Kelly
Mullin Draper Spittal Gardyne
McKay
Erwin
Harsh on Stewart leaving him out but with the players we have I think that's our best 11.
(a fully fit vigurs strolls into that team but feel like he's still a yard or two off it)

It really would be harsh top drop anyone from the accies game!
