Pretty sure Ian Baracloughs first game in charge of Motherwell was at St Mirren Park and despite taking a bit of a battering in the game Motherwell somehow walked away with a one nil win through a John Sutton goal. Kenny McLean had a header off the underside of the bar come down and go about 3 yards over the line only for the linesman and referee to not bother their arse awarding the goal. We fell off a cliff after this and went on to be relegated without much of a fight.

Surely Kilmarnock just need to return the favour of last January here and allow Brophy his move just now , just like St Mirren done with Kirk Broadfoot last year when he asked to go back to Kilmarnock. -

Got to be the same starting 11 for Saints as started in the cup game. Big questions is will Rangers be confident enough to rotate things again with one eye on the Old firm game a few days later. Morelos will surely start this one now he’s back from his ban . Can Steve Davis play 3 games in a week? Any sort of positive result for saints here would be massive. -

Towards the end of the Rangers game Jim shouted to ask him how his knee was. He played on til the end then again against St J on Saturday he played 90 mins so hopefully its more a matter of maybe just resting him tonight so he is fit for Ross County on Boxing Day. -

This is spot on . I can’t think of one game where I’ve left and thought Kyle Magennis was a stand out in it. He’s been good , but he’s never influenced a game in the way that John McGinn , Stevie Mallan or Lewis Morgan did . His first season in the team was probably his best . Good player but certainly not irreplaceable. -

Yip, was probably too intelligent a player for the rest of his team mates. Would always try things that no one else around him expected. assisted both goals in the 2 1 win against Dundee at SMP after us going a goal down within 20 seconds and still he didn’t do enough on the day according to the majority on BAWA -

Or Hearts fans starting the week still raging about being a championship club and raging about St Mirren twitter. To then end the week still a championship club and raging that your club helped out the club that relegated you by giving us a goalie. Ann budge is sound as f**k -

Worth remembering we’re only one game into a new season with only 2 pre season friendlies and a short pre season behind us. We can hardly except everyone to hit the ground running . -

League Reconstruction 20/21 season
Saint Shug replied to Sinner-to-Saint's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I think everyone is missing the point that the real victims here are the St Mirren fans. Don’t get me wrong that night in Paisley when big Jon Obika scored the goal to keep Hearts at the bottom of the table was some night but............ Imagine how good a night it could have been had we known he had actually just relegated the c***s. -
