Today’s daily record has us wanting to sign Blair Lyons of Montrose along with a few Championship clubs. 6 goals from 19 games in league one so far this season.

Bitchslappin Celtic 4 nil 3.Semi win v Celtic on the way to winning the league cup. 4.Winning last seasons play off final v Dundee Utd 5. 2-1 win v Rangers on Xmas eve. 6. Billy Mehmets winner v Hearts in 2010 league cup semi. 7. Championship win and beating Morton on trophy day. 8. Rory Loy’s equaliser v Hibs to avoid the play offs into league one. 9. Beating Morton 4-1 at Cappielow on the night they thought they were going to relegate us. 10. 4-1 v Dundee Utd on Boxing Day (Goodie smashed Armstrong)

Celtic fans to embarrass themselves , their club and to still find a reason to be outraged and accuse the whole country of a conspiracy to stop 10 in a row even though they win 4 nil

Shite game but a decent enough point away from home. Thought we controlled most of the game but some poor decision making with the final ball let us down all day. St Johnstone are a poor side going by the 2 times I’ve seen them against us this season, Ryan Flynn, stand in right back had the boy Kennedy’s number right from the off. Big Obika should have thrown himself at MacPhersons ball back across the 6 yard box but decided to almost trip himself up instead. Sean McLoughlin was unlucky at the bock post. Our corners and set plays are absolutely rank rotten, failed to beat the first man almost every time we took a corner or free kick into the box. 2 home games before the break now, 3 points from the Kilmarnock game has got to be the best we can realistically expect.

Thought Tony Andreu coming on the park yesterday was the turning point. Looked a bit more threatening going forward when he started playing wee 1-2s and running off Obika looking for knockdowns . It was his shot that hits Obika for the second goal and busts a gut to get the ball ahead of the defender to then put it back across the box for the 3rd as well. Seems to be better off the bench for us than he does when he starts games.

Things I love to see: 1. Sam Foley actually shoot instead of pass the ball when in a decent shooting position. 2. Teams who waste as much time as possible then scramble about in a rush for the last few minutes when they go behind. Fully deserved win I thought and Foley’s goal was a peach.

Would expect Celtic to make quite a few changes for this after the last 2 games they’ve played and with the semi coming up on Saturday. That said I’m still expecting us to be well beat but hopefully not a 5 or 6 nil demolition job that they seem to enjoy handing out at parkhead these days. Biggest issue for us is keeping Celtic from scoring in the first 10-15 mins , if we concede early doors I think we’re in for a long night. Or we win one nil with a og from Jack Hendry who’s only playing cos it’s only St Mirren.

Seem to remember the other home game against Motherwell being a bit of a kick in the stones as well. First game for their new manager Jim Baraclough. Kenny McLean made his bow as a lone striker ( can’t remember if this was due to an injury up front or a sending off ) and he was brilliant. A header off the bar and in that wasn’t given and St Mirren being the far better team only for John Sutton( I think ) to score the only goal of the game late on .

Livi 100% deserved their win, you can’t gift 2 goals in this league and expect to take something from the game. Far too many passengers in our team in the first half and we didn’t seem to get the bit between our teeth until we went 2 behind. Livingston are a far better team than they are given credit for and every one of their players defended with their lives by putting everything the could infront of the ball as we pressed for the equaliser. Had we scored a second we may well have deserved the point but we didn’t and livi were well worthy of their win. the referee was an absolute shambles as well but that’s got hee has to do with the result.

Like yer man tam says , 10. You were at least correct about the more than 6 in one season part I’ll give you that but is league one really only one tier above the English 6th (sixth) tier?

Is League One really only 1 tier higher than the English 6th tier ? Or are you just not letting the facts get in the way of you talking pish?

Foley , Mackenzie and McLaughlin were superb there. Some goal and great 3 points. Stonewall penalty for Aberdeen btw , makes those 3 points even sweeter.
