Off The Ball - Is it good?
Lee Van Tee replied to Buddist Monk's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
He actually made me laugh joking about hearing it at Manumission. Come on, the idea of Tam clubbing it in Ibiza is funny, isn't it? -
Nice big Amsterdam welcome for Gerwin Price there.

Celtic v Hibernian. League Cup semi final.

That was Dembele's fault. According to Pakie Bonnar. -

Good to see Rangers fans embracing the new gender politics, where boys can be girls and girls boys or even choose gender fluidity. -
Nah, celtic decided to chill in the second half, which was always going to be the case.

Best Tarantino film for me is Kill Bill. Absolutely magnificently staged martial arts action including Uma Thurman taking on the Crazy 88. Superb. Saying that there's always something to enjoy in every Tarantino film.

I thought Leanne Crichton was edging it before I switched off. -

I watched Sportscene Results a while back with Currie, Steven Thompson and Leanne Crichton. I think there was a competition between the three to see who could be the blandest. Awful stuff. -
No, it's typical of the kind of thing that happens when streets are closed off. Someone apparently was trying to see their dying father a few weeks ago and the protests meant that by the time he got to the hospital his dad had died. I'm guessing he won't be joining with XR any time soon.

This BBC coverage is pretty poor. They really need a better spotter and camera person as that's a good few doubles missed.

"They're not coming after you. They're coming after the billionaires who profit off your suffering. I don't get the animosity." Yeah good at see Princess Marie-Esméralda of Belgium and others target the ultra rich workers at Billingsgate market and Smithfield Meat Market. I vote green at council elections. I recycle as much as I can and haven't been on a plane for years. And the main result that I can see of recent protests is that XR are making it harder for ordinary workers to get to their work, some of them on minimum wage, some doing vital jobs like nursing, some on zero hour contracts who need every minute of work offered to them.

A documentary on Scottish punk and post punk music with some pop like Altered Images thrown in. Wish Scottish music today was half as innovative.

Traits That Make You Wary
Lee Van Tee replied to Highland Capital's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
The only time I eat fried eggs is when I'm eating them together with bacon and sausages and there's more than enough salt in those already. Likewise when I have the very occasional pie supper, there's no way I'm going to ask for salt. -

I turned off before having to suffer whatever Derek Ferguson chose. I'm guessing Amy McDonald or some other Rangers fan. -

Actually really enjoyed Tam Cowan for the first part of the show there, made me laugh and spoke sense about Stevie Clarke. But Derek Ferguson and this Wet Wet Wet guy, man. Man it must be frustrating for him, man, what with his big team dying, man, and wee team dying too, man. -
A psychoanalyst shows a patient an inkblot and asks him what he sees. The patient says: “A man and woman making love.” The psychoanalyst shows him a second inkblot, and the patient says: “That’s also a man and woman making love.” The psychoanalyst says: “You are obsessed with sex.” The patient says: “What do you mean I’m obsessed? You’re the one with all the dirty pictures.”

Scotland squad next month
Lee Van Tee replied to Craig McCulloch Burley's topic in Tartan Army Ramblings
I do bet against Scotland and certainly made some decent money when McLeish was in charge. Took Russia -1 yesterday at 5/4. Only put on £25, so would be happy enough if it didn't come up. -
Things you want to share with P&B
Lee Van Tee replied to Ad Lib's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
I like Weatherspoons for a couple of beers at the start of a session. Owner's a w****r but always stocks a selection of interesting beers and ciders from local independent brewers and the prices are amazing, £2 a pint in 2019 takes some beating. -
Let's All Laugh At Celtic Thread
Lee Van Tee replied to shull's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Most certainly not. I was cheering on Livingston but I think my attempts at parodying Celtic fans didn't quite live up to some of the reactions I've heard since like a guy on Superscoreboard claiming Ryan Christie was only trying to protect himself in the red card incident. -

As the person I quoted in that post said, satire isn't always a great idea on P&B.
