  1. My new company laptop requires admin privileges to install steam to play Football Manager. Is there any way round this?
  2. For someone who’s a bit late to the party, what’s the story here with Zico and Steakngravys lawyer?
  3. Interesting view on Hendry, Scottydog. Although I wasn’t there today, I think he’s looked poor recently. He maybe needs a rest. How did Maclean do?
  4. f**k him, I couldn’t care if he was having a great time. We lost a centre half to injury and needed to cut his loan short to come back as cover. We pay his wages, if we need him available, even if not in squads then so be it.
  5. I think Fulham have come of this looking very good from the way they are looking after him. To a club of that size, a player like Kieron won’t mean much. For them to do so much for him speaks volumes for their club.
  6. What’s the script with signing players in the lower leagues. I know we can sign free agents but can we still get loans too? It wouldn’t surprise me if we can, if Gullan is loaned out again. Perhaps to a championship club.
  7. At least with Allan being out, the boo boys will have a new target now.
  8. Quinny will be all over you like a wet shellsuit for that comment!
  9. How did Dan Armstrong do when he came on yesterday? Would have posted on the match thread but it’s a car crash!
  10. I’d agree with that. I’ve supported the team since around 1989ish and I’d say Mcgylnn is up there with Nicholl. When you take into account the gulf in finances and the obvious love for the club that John has, he shades it for me.
  11. Tomorrow’s lineup will be interesting. Can we play with Baird and Maclean up top? Will Bowie be buzzing after his big move or will he be rested after what must have been a hectic week for him? I’d like to see Maclean and Bowie from the start but think it would be harsh on Baird who’s come onto a game these last few weeks. I’d actually put Baird in for Dingwall in the attacking midfield role.
  12. Could be worse, our manager might have had to register himself!
  13. TX... sorry, I miss read your post and thought you’d said he needs to work on his crossing. As for the defensive part of his game in a back four, we will just need to agree to disagree. I think he’s more than adequate defensively.
  14. Remember that well. He was also touted for a move to Rangers around the time too and his form fell off a cliff. Sure it happened to a young Stevie Crawford too! It’s just depends on the players attitude I suppose though.
  15. Couldn’t agree more with that. Although I think Fife Elite is regarded as ‘pro youth’ or whatever it’s called. I know there was a centre half playing for Scotland school boys last season that was playing for Fife at the time. Anyway, back to the Rovers, I wonder who the centre half is? Surely must be Berra?
  16. I find it strange that Kieron Bowie hasn’t featured in a Scotland youth squad yet. The most recent under 17’s team was full of players from premier league teams who have never played any first team football, yet we have a player playing regularly and scoring goals against full grown men but hasn’t had a look in. For me, it’s lazy scouting on behalf of the SFA!
  17. Can you tell me the games, or even better, post the highlights up of the moments he’s been a defensive liability in a back four please? I must have missed these games. As for his crossing, are you aware how many assists he has?
  18. Got injured not long into his loan spell but looked good in the few games he did play. Should be a good signing for you guys.
  19. Would be pleasantly surprised if we signed McLean but really can’t see it happening. When did he last play week in week out? He might struggle being a regular starter, especially with his injury problems. I’d settle for Kenny Miller who has at least been playing regularly. I really don’t want Doolan!
  20. If we do sign Mansell then it shows just how far down our list of targets we have had to go. Mcglynn said at the start of the window that he wanted to sign a proven goalscorer and not someone who’s just going to be a squad player.
  21. If you were Kenny Miller and presumably in the last 6 months of your playing career, you’d have thought a stint in league 1 with a team who attack and create chances would be more appealing than another 6 months with a struggling championship team where he might hardly get a look in.
