  1. Aye, Cadenheads shop will deliver but it's extortionate. Something like a tenner for a bottle or twenty for 2-6 bottles.
  2. Amazon have got Glengoyne 18 on a deal of the day for £70 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Glengoyne-Highland-Single-Scotch-Whisky/dp/B00IXL9MFC/ref=gbps_img_s-4_0c93_eeb19910?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=cea3ec77-c3da-499c-b2cb-30e0d5ea0c93&pf_rd_s=slot-4&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=gb_main&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=N8MYR3H02JXG00V4N4CS
  3. Which Balblair is it they have? I'm looking out the window across Loch Gilp at the moment so might pop in tomorrow, always need to get something in the Co anyway. Did you get one?
  4. Which Balblair is it they have? I'm looking out the window across Loch Gilp at the moment so might pop in tomorrow, always need to get something in the Co anyway. Both shops had the G&M 10 and 12 early last week. The 10 looks like an old-fashioned bottling, there weren't many on the shelf. The 12 looks like a modern bottling (along with the other distillery 10yo that I can't remember), there was plenty of those. They're on an aisle end facing back of shop, like they do with 2-for-1 bog rolls etc.
  5. Bought one last week in the Inveraray Co-op £34.99. They had the G&M Balblair 12 for £49.99 and another 10 yo (can't remember which). Co-op Lochgilphead had them too. If you're ever over that way have a wee look.
  6. I was there last week, it was shut. Gutted.
  7. I'll not read the review yet then. Did it arrive in a Deanston box, or just the nudey bottle?
  8. It would mean spending a wee bit more, but well worth it in my opinion: Glendronach 12 or Benriach 12 Sherry Wood from Loch Fyne whisky, both on offer at £39.99 with free shipping. https://www.lochfynewhiskies.com/glendronach-12-year-old
  9. Agreed on all fronts. Loads of stuff touching a hundred pounds that is just pretty much run of the mill.
  10. They are a cask storage service, buy/sell and bottle casks. The Dalmore was vatted from 4 oloroso octaves. I've not had a bad one yet, tried 7 different bottles so far. I ordered the Dalmore and Aultmore yesterday, time will tell if it keeps up that record. Another decent bottler is Chorlton Whisky. He's got a couple of releases coming soon. Charges about a tenner more than Whisky Broker, and they tend to go fast as well, especially any Islay releases. https://chorltonwhisky.co.uk/uncategorized/chorlton-whisky-bottlings-3/
  11. No catch, but they go like the proverbial off a shovel. He was apologising for having to charge so much for the Dalmore compared to his usual pricing.
  12. There's some really nice looking releases on Whiskybroker this morning https://www.whiskybroker.co.uk/bottles-c-1
  13. I had their Milton Duff 9 bourbon cask, it was pretty decent. Just your luck of the draw I suppose.
  14. Same advice as Gigi, whatever suits your taste best. I'd go neat, then add water little by little until your happy. Just let the first few sips rest on your tongue.
  15. You need to Register an account with them, then add to the basket and apply the code. You can't do it as a guest
  16. Just bought Oban Distiller's Edition, register and use 'welcome10' for an extra 10% off taking it down to £49 ish. https://www.lochfynewhiskies.com/oban-distillers-edition Also, couldn't resist another Berry Bros Sherry Cask from Amazon, for £24 with 10% subscribe (just cancel the subscribe before they ship another) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Berry-Brothers-Rudd-Classic-Matured/dp/B07CNQMHN5/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1XKSHI7C37TXT&dchild=1&keywords=berry+brothers+%26+rudd&qid=1591552952&rnid=1642204031&s=alcohol&sprefix=berry%2Caps%2C155&sr=1-1
  17. Was thinking the same myself. I'd never looked at it before, but some of the older stuff seems interesting.
  18. I cancelled my order once I realised it was a 50cl bottle, didn't notice until I'd ordered it.
  19. They do the same thing on their distillery tour, same effect.
  20. Agree, it used to sit around the £100 mark until recently. I just checked my Amazon account, I paid £82.50 on 18th Dec but that was a 'deal of the day' type reduction.
  21. They wouldn't, but it's a football forum so have a chew on that. A streaming service just won't work for the majority of the diddy clubs. People will say they'll pay for it but they won't, or if they do it'll be like ppv boxing, one stream with half a dozen watching per stream. Watching Morton's a chore, I do it mostly out of habit to meet up with family and friends. No chance that I'm paying to sit watching it in the house on my own. I'd have split this year's prize money into 42 equal slices this year as a one-off as well, have a slice of that pie while you're at it.
  22. Set it up centrally, divide the streaming income by 42 and pay the same out to each club.
