I went to the AUOB march today with my youngest daughter (17 before you all ask). Great atmosphere and a great turnout despite the poor weather. Hard to gauge the numbers there when you are actually on the march but when we got onto Bath Street it was just a sea of saltires.
Funniest bit of the day was the absolute seethe coming from the 20-strong pro-Union counter demonstration at the corner of Renfield Street.Argyle Street. The chant from the Indy march towards them was "Cheerio, cheerio, cheerio....."
My usual pub has a band and buffet ticket only do so going to that with the wife and 2 other couples. 8pm kick-off. Probably be home for 1am as the wife is a bit of a lightweight.
New Years Day - family dinner at the mother-in-laws
Christmas dinner at the wife's cousin's house for the 3rd year running. There will be 17 in total ranging from 4 to 73. There was 18 last year but my eldest daughter is going to her future in-laws for Christmas dinner this year.
It's usually a good day out for plenty of food and drink. 2pm kick-off with champagne and nibbles
Father-in-law a stick-on for spilling a glass of red wine over something or someone - family tradition
Pretty much my thoughts on the game as well. Thought Seedorf should have crossed into the box for Cole instead of blazing it into Row Z
Decent pie as well
Where's the best place to park for a quick getaway to the A77? I've been to Rugby Park several times before but usually by public transport or supporter's bus
