  1. The mythical cup that is so beloved by the people running Junior football that they are allowing Senior clubs to win it in perpetuity. edit - 61 likes on the Twitter posts and all comments positive. Aye hatred of the future and clubs progressing is such a great thing.
  2. Hearts 5th relegation from the top flight since the introduction of the Premier League in 1975, moves them level with Dunfermline in number of relegations from the top flight over the last 45 years. Bit to go before either team catches Dundee who have managed to be parachuted into trips to Montrose and Alloa a mammoth seven times in 45 years.
  3. Can we have GTF day right now so fans of big clubs don't have to see the petulant mewlings of diddly club supporters.
  4. Given there is no Sevco in the league this time, the media wont give a toss. Its the big clubs that get saved by reconstruction or gerrymandering stadium criteria. Hearts just aren't big enough to save.
  5. Maybe use the appropriate Senior forum where its already being discussed at length -
  6. There is a precedent in Scottish Football for doing just that. Division 2 was closed down for the duration of WWI (from late 1918) and then didn't start up again until the 1921-22 season. Aberdeen, Raith and Dundee were removed from the Scottish League during WWI for travel reasons with Clydebank (version 1) being added to the league to carry it on at an even number. The three removed clubs and Albion Rovers were then admitted back into the league for 2019-20 but it took another 2 years for the 2 division structure to come back. Budge must be salivating at the prospect of being rid of what she sees as the diddies.
  7. Its almost as if he's a pathetic troll who cant accept that the Juniors are dead. Anyway, well done to Bo'ness on winning the league.
  8. maybe somebody on the production team wanted to know where the tarts are.
  9. Kilsyth, 3 seasons in the top flight of the West Region since it went Central/Ayrshire combined. Maryhill, Neilston, Johnstone and Bellshill have all spent more time in the Superleague than Kilsyth so clearly they should be in the top flight next season as well
  10. All of the "issues" that the troll and his lapdog are attempting to raise and yet deliciously EVERY SINGLE Junior club in the West of Scotland decided to leave behind the woderful "grade" and move to the Senior leagues. I wonder why...... The salty salty tears of those that hanker for the past and refuse to embrace the future are wonderful to behold.
  11. They are 53 senior clubs who happen to hold membership of a lesser organisation - in the same way that say Partick are a senior club in the SPFL but also a member of the Glasgow FA. Most of said 53 clubs will play at most 2 Junior games next season, whenever that is, but a full league and cup programme in their Senior league. They are all senior clubs now, the West is done at the Junior "grade" no matter what mewling comes from those who can not accept progress.
  12. I'm intrigued to know what Junior clubs in the East and North (the only remaining Junior outposts) have appointed former Talbot players as managers recently.
  13. Not a chance. 1 - he's not reliable 2 - he's done
  14. Cultural reference for the kids there Miss Diane.
  15. No shock that all of the clubs involved are exceptionally staunch. Just need Cowdenbeath, Airdrie and Stirling to embarrass themselves with statements for a full house of ….without the bus fare staunchness.
  16. Why are you excited about 53 grade traitor SENIOR clubs playing in another "grade" and undoubtedly winning the competition. A complete slap in the face for real honest Junior clubs. Most Junior clubs will be out the first time they face one of the Senior interlopers and come the last 16 or so unless there has been a favourable draw its going to be 16 senior clubs competing to win a Junior competition and making a complete mockery of the competition. That you are happy with that is odd in the extreme, its the final nail in the coffin.
  17. Fun fact - Stranraer spent every season between 2002-03 and 2009-10 in a different league. They went, tier 3,4,3,2,3,4,3,4 (and then 4,4 to break the chain) during that time. That's proper yo-yo'ing
  18. ANyone who thinks H You've spent 40% of the time since mid 70s reconstruction outside the top flight, most yo-yos come straight back up. And any Hearts fans who thinks they wouldn't have voted for the status quo if St Mirren, Hamilton or Ross County were bottom is deluding themselves.
  19. Aye staying in or going for 60 minutes exercise is far far better than watching Falkirk. What exactly are you doing right now on a Saturday afternoon that is better than football?
  20. Since the mid 70s reconstruction of the leagues Falkirk have spent less time in the top division than Inverness, a club that didn't join the league until 19 seasons later. Next season will see Hamilton move ahead of them in time spent in the top flight since the reorganisation. Their deluded fanbase and board thinking they are a top flight club is laughable.
