I can definitely see why Ayr fans were comparing O’Connor and Messi about 18 months ago.

Actually this will probably end up coming back to haunt me when Ayr turn this around and relegate us in the final.

That’s reassuring we really need a striker we can rely on next season if we are going to hold onto this reserve cup.

Whilst it’s a disaster for Ayr it’ll be interesting to see what they do now. Think he would be really well suited to how Celtic play because he is so attacking. He’s not a great defender but, even with the penalties, his goal record for a right back can’t really be ignored.

You can tell the Celtic fans who were alive during the 90s as they have a massive inferiority complex when it comes to Rangers which will probably never go away despite their current dominance.
