  1. Probably because it’s full of small, insignificant clubs generally speaking. Of course with the exception of last season and probably next season.
  2. Might be challenging for him depending on how his club votes/feels. Hope he does though as I agree with his views on the subject.
  3. What league are EK in? Is it the Lowland league? If so it will be interesting to see if MK continues to be as vocal about the closed shop of the Lowland League as he has been.
  4. So if he didn’t get a good budget for players he was going to come regardless?
  5. Coming home from a 4-1 defeat thinking you’ve had a lucky escape isn’t a normal feeling.
  6. His win % must be over 80% and it’s been a fair sample size now. He’s also probably feeling like one bad defeat at a place like Dingwall would be enough to put him out of the running so maybe that explains the lack of expansive football you mentioned. From a neutral perspective it’s hard to see what more the guy can do.
  7. Been seeing some more posts on here the last couple of days discussing the managers of the top 2 with mentions of the money advantage not being the only reason for success (specifically Celtic fans stating that Postecoglus success is more than just the financial advantage). We’ve often heard people saying tongue in cheek “I could win that league like that” or “I could score goals in that team/league” but my question for discussion is this: Would every other top flight manager (barring Naismith of course) finish in the top 2 if they managed Celtic or Rangers? Whilst it’s easy to just say yes you only need to think of the struggles that Rangers had in 16/17/18. For McInnes I would say he probably has just about enough credit in the bank from his time at Aberdeen to suggest that he would finish in the top 2 if he took the job at Ibrox this summer but I’m sure other Kilmarnock fans may disagree. From the other clubs I suppose the negative reaction I expect most would be from St Johnstone fans based on their opinion of Davidson. Goodwin as well, would he be good enough.
  8. I think I’ve asked this on here before but can’t remember the answer - what sort of money do you think guys like Pat Bonner get paid for this? Do you think it’s a free ticket, free lunch and maybe £200 per game? Or more than that if this is his only job (not sure if it is or not).
  9. Why would it ever be McGregor? Even for the most biased person that is a horrendous shout.
  10. If only our clubs followed the advice of “try harder” as described by the Celtic fans on here then they too could share in these vast riches of UEFA prize money.
  11. So are Celtic not very good? Assuming that’s what you mean if you’ve only just squeezed past them at home?
  12. It’s low on the overall list of priorities but the treatment of fans with things like catering is a bit of a disgrace across the board in the Premiership.
  13. Forgot how defensive Arbroath fans were about the wind.
  14. You’ve totally misread what I said but you should’ve definitely tried harder to save club #1.
  15. This is exactly the sort of commitment I expect from fans of a club that doesn’t actually exist.
  16. That win was in the Scottish Cup, we’ve won zero games away from home in the league. For me when I look at the two tables @RandomGuy.listed earlier I see massive missed opportunities. We chucked away 2 points at home to Motherwell and another 2 at home to St Johnstone that would’ve had us in a far better position.
  17. And of course the annual vote to cull a poster.
  18. He dresses like John Connors pal at the start of Terminator 2.
  19. We won’t keep a clean sheet that is the first guarantee. Be interesting to see how the young lad performs if he starts in centre midfield again. I saw he didn’t play in the reserve game this week so assuming he starts again. He looked great against St Johnstone but Hearts midfield a different proposition. I fear that he might not be as successful this time around. Prediction? 3-0 to the good guys, Watson hat-trick.
