  1. Hope not, Friday night at the Fortress Brockville night followed by Dundee Utd on the Saturday seemed perfect to me, 5.30pm on the Saturday night would be fine though.
  2. I actually heard that Sheikh Jassim and his Qataris were ready to take over and pump billions into the club before showing interest in Man Utd, but again that was put on ice when the FSS/Patrons guys took over, maybe the same source as you RC.
  3. Yip, there can be no moans and groans going forward if this fails and the club falls into the wrong hands like we have been in previous years. Don’t think the board or fans that are onboard with fan ownership can do anything more to get others involved.
  4. This is just a personal choice, but if I had to decide between giving money to FSS or going to away games and funding our opponents I would give it to FSS. Each to their own though.
  5. Great to hear one of the English co-commentators there talking about England’s next game in the semi, cocky b@stard.
  6. I agree, if Lang and Coll were out at the same time we would struggle. I think with Henderson, Mackie, MacKay could cover an injury to one but if they were both out we would be humped.
  7. I love the Ultras and really enjoy what they bring to the atmosphere at games, if you look back my posts on here I’ve always championed them when the idea was muted, when others weren’t sure. Yesterday again they were great and kept the atmosphere going in a ground that wasn’t as busy as normal. My only issue, and I may be wrong but I’m sure at one point in the second half they sang that horrible , disgusting song about Norrie McCathie, absolutely no need for that guys, you have plenty other songs to pick from.
  8. That was my mistake today, only had on 3 layers and forgot the hat, won’t happen again.
  9. That’s probably as easy a win as we have had all season and that was with a lot of second string players, Edinburgh City put up more off a fight.
  10. They all did well and looked comfortable, Bisland looked decent and tried to get forward a lot. Their keeper took Ola out and for me it should have been another pen. It was a really comfortable win, Jordan Allan doesn’t suit the lone striker role but he worked his socks off, got in good positions and was really unlucky not to add to his goal. Finn was excellent and improves every game for me.
  11. Decent performance, could have been more, their keeper had a few decent stops. As usual ref was utter mince, nice touch at the end to see Ola giving his boots to the lad that had travelled from Chippenham Town to see us. Oh and it’s time for me to start my seasonal moaning, that place is utter fucking freezing.
  12. Club have tweeted that it’s free entry through the Main Stand turnstiles
  13. If he had spouted some right wing, homophobic, Tory pish I would have had suspicions on who it was.
  14. We could get taken over by an Arab billionaire, win the Champions League, win the Scottish treble, build a 50000 all seater state of the art stadium that we fill every week and some on here would look for the negative in it. We’re top of the league playing decent football, getting bigger gates than the rest of the league put together, academy is coming back and the fans are majority shareholders. Let’s just enjoy it for once ffs and stop all this negative theory pish.
  15. I got tickets too, wife registered for the presale. Seen the Manics loads but never seen Suede so really looking forward to it, castle should be a cracking setting for the gig. Just hope the great Scottish summer weather Gods are kind to us .
  16. The same ones moaning about the FSS and fan ownership model, who refuse to join will be the first on here and other social media sites crying foul about the board if we have to go part time at the end of the season. Again I will reiterate this is not aimed at fans who genuinely cannot afford it.
  17. My thoughts exactly, get the sentiment of keeping the undefeated run going but not worth risking key players in my opinion.
  18. McGlynn manager of the month and Callumn player of the month, well done both. Glad it’s the diddy cup this week as a MoM award is usually followed by a defeat.
  19. Manics and Suede at Edinburgh Castle next July looks well worth seeing. Never been to a gig at the Castle so hope I can get tickets.
  20. Going back to football and next Saturdays game, I would be playing as close to a second string as is possible given our squad limitations. Granted it’s good to remain unbeaten but I’ll take a defeat over anymore key players picking up an injury in the diddy cup any day of the week.
  21. As did Hamilton but no doubt we could go back and forward with this all day.
  22. I think you’ll find we are all saying similar about Hamilton. That’s the worst I’ve seen us this season and we still got a draw.
  23. That car park continually floods, I’m sure a few years ago there was about 4 or 5 cars in the same situation. You would think the Hotel would advise residents about the risk.
  24. I agree, apart from the Tom Lang header I can’t really think of either side having a clear cut chance. I felt both teams seemed happy to settle for the draw. Was quite a funny game to watch with neither really having a go. Don’t think it’s a bad point for either and don’t buy into it being a better point for Hamilton than us, we’re capable of going to NDP and winning just as I would say Hamilton could do likewise next time at TFS. Long way to go and no doubt we will both drop points along the way.
  25. I agree, don’t think either team could take much from that today. They were both just feeling each other out.
