  1. I disagree that folk are within their right to boo that and the fact there has to be some booing. I’ve booed the shit we have watched in the past but this squad has done nothing to deserve being booed. It’s all about opinions I suppose.
  2. We created and missed lots of chances, we are still unbeaten and 14 points clear at the top with a game in hand but you crack on and boo all you like. Sometimes our supports gets the team they deserve.
  3. Folk booing at the end in the KM stand can f**k right off and when they get there f**k off again, wankers.
  4. I don’t want just another stand that mirrors what we have, I like grounds that have a bit of quirkiness and doing what Ayr are putting in would do that. I’d be happy with a big terrace with no seats but I can’t see that happening so a bit of both plus some hospitality suites covers a lot of bases.
  5. Totally agree, what Ayr are doing looks fantastic and would look great on our east side.
  6. My ambitions for Falkirk are probably no different to the likes of the Pars, Partick, Raith, Ayr fans who I see as similar sized clubs. If the likes of St Johnstone, Motherwell, Kilmarnock can establish themselves as top flight teams then that has to be our long term goal as the potential support is there. In the short term we need to consolidate in the Championship, continue to grow the FSS and then try and push for promotion whether it’s through the play offs or winning the league. I would love to see us finishing the stadium and like the look of what Ayr are building, hospitality suites with some seating and terracing. Its just comforting as a Falkirk fan to have a bit of optimism for once in what has been a horrible 4/5 seasons.
  7. Get the Budvar tent back, that would do the trick.
  8. I remember the bomb scare v Killie, if I mind right they were flying near the top of the league and we pissed all over them that day and they spawned a 1 nil win. I’m sure someone with an Irish accent had phoned and said that there was a bomb in the stand of a Scottish club, I was in the stand that day with my soon to be father in law as he wouldn’t go on the terracing and we all had to get down out the stand onto the pitch. We were in the Railway Tav after and I thought my father in law was going to lamp a drunken Killie fan who said they were the better team, were they bollocks.
  9. Yeah I get the argument, but as I keep telling the followers of the arse cheeks at work, there are plastic pitches and there are plastic pitches. Ours is a good one and is far better than the St Johnstone pitch I saw on TV the other week.
  10. I was thinking about the amount of plastic pitches in the Championship (getting ahead of myself I know) and there aren’t many. It would be good to have the option to train on grass as well as plastic pitches next season and Little Kerse could be used for this. I also heard they are putting in a full sized covered pitch there which could come in handy if the weather was shit for training.
  11. I would agree having seen both. Accies only chance is getting Ryan Fulton and Scott Martin back for the play offs and if they punt Rankin that could give them a lift.
  12. Totally this, we had a decent season last year and were second for most of the season. We got some injuries, players/management focused on the Scottish Cup semi and we went into the play off in poor form and Airdrie who had found good form battered us and saw off Accies in the final. It’s all about how you go into the plays offs.
  13. I get this, as when we first got relegated I stayed away in protest at the board and certain members that I wanted gone. The only issue with it is you find different ways to fill your Saturday afternoons and a lot of fans might not come back. Out of the seven of us that went regularly, two of them still haven’t come back to games.
  14. Better be, I’m in hospitality and it’s a bank holiday on the Monday. Planning a right good celebration.
  15. John and Paul have definitely shown this season that in this league quality is definitely better than quantity. As you say all our squad are involved, getting game time and that breeds a happier environment. Whoever takes over after Rankin should look at our model for success this season. Take the wages you are paying for 31 and split it between a smaller squad.
  16. If it’s not at TFS and at the likes of Montrose we can win it there could be a bit of a mad rush for tickets.
  17. https://pintsnprints.co.uk/ Something a wee bit different. I’ve ordered the Moretti in Navy Blue.
  18. I’m not gloating here but I’ve a feeling your club has some more dark days ahead before things get better. I honestly fear for you with the way your attendances are going. When we were at our lowest at least our attendances held up. You need to continue to protest to try and get the charlatans out your club, good luck took us a while.
  19. We could have this wrapped before the clocks go forward.
  20. Yeah, couple of huge mistakes by officials all in the Fifers favour that changed the course of the game
  21. I’ve got a lot of time for Thistle. When I was a kid playing boys football in Grangemouth our manager and his eldest son were Thistle daft and we played in Thistle strips. I’ve got a lot of time for folk who choose Thistle ahead of the ugly sisters, I know nowadays they are the beardy hipster choice in the West End but it wasn’t like that way back then. Been to Firhill lots and never seen any real bother.
  22. I remember the early days of P&B and some heated debates between us and their fans.
