  1. Really think every champion club should go up automatically - if criteria is met. Scottish non Lge club's don't get massive support compared to down south but, the changes that many clubs have already made - grounds, floodlights, gaining licenses has been absolutely brilliant. To see the changes made, at a decent cost, proves these clubs have taken this seriously and deserve the pyramid to work better in the future. Fully expect most Premier Divisions to be fully licensed before long.👏

  2. Possibly some prebuilt terrace stands and a seated area, either side of the current cover, would make New Tinto better. Enjoying my trips to Scotland, now visited or seen games at around 70 non league grounds - and have Cove and also F.C  Edinburgh to complete the spfl.Hope to return to Aberdeen next season, and do a few more EOS grounds in future. Interesting to see how this season ends across the pyramid.

  3. An excellent week ends up at New Tinto for the inter -league semi  Central Scottish 4 Glasgow & District 1 hct 63. Decent game with the Glaswegian's going 1-0 up in the 2nd half, but the experience told, with some wily campaigners in the white shirts. Enjoyable stuff, 8 games under my belt,  my future return north dependant on Royal Mail's plans 👊 (or I retire at 61 sounds a good idea)

  4. Drumchapel v Gartcairn 03 (Fri)  today Vale of Clyde v Irvine Vic's 21 decent game, Vale deservedly ahead 20 at ht, dodgy looking offside goal to make it interesting 21, although the Vic's aerial assault was well dealt with by the back four and the gk who commanded his box well. Enjoyable stuff, crowd 75+.20230408_153655.thumb.jpg.581dbbde2257dc81aafa7f7405538ada.jpg

  5. Vale of Clyde 2 Irvine Vic's 1 a decent game, Va!e deservedly 20 up ht after a good header back across the gk, then a tidy finish in the box. 21 as striker ran through, seemingly offside from my view, stirred it up for a bit. Vic's pushed, but the back four and the strong gk kept them at bay. Decent game among top six sides, plenty of effort.20230408_135838.thumb.jpg.65f026362582e31759286efb84409dfb.jpg20230408_141840.thumb.jpg.fea69272d7addd3836bf980f737938d3.jpg

  6. Drum 03 needed to put one of their 1st half efforts on target, they played some decent stuff whilst Gartcairn defended really well. Definitely blown the top six wide open, whoever hits form the final push. Ground basic but  I think enough room to put up prebuilt terraces/ stands if/when required. Do they get on with the amateurs up in Duntocher ? (prefer that ground)20230407_202708.thumb.jpg.33a150f3a03686c679544ad5b9b21e72.jpg

  7. Enjoyable stuff, could have been 2-2 at least in the 1st half, thought the Buffs created some good chances and wasted the majority. Two cracking headers for 11 and 21, and some clever play to make it 31. Thought both Talbot's 4 and 5 were dominant in the air, but the back four got caught square a few times. Credit to the 2nd half display, wore the visitors down who ran out of steam and ideas. Yes the kids make mistakes, bang it long at times, and lose possession - stick with em.

  8. Aftermath of a Sunday League game: all went on beyond the traffic lights. Can only think the added extra time came when Pather celebrated their goals in front of their fans, injuries, the sending off,and subs. Pather were knackered the last 15+ and couldn't hold on.Thought the ref was poor throughout but for both teams.20230402_165821.thumb.jpg.2713ad8c332f2c1165bdbe88f3cb8107.jpg

  9. Scottish Sunday Cup semi at Ochilview : FC Pather 3 Edinburgh East 3 pens (3-5) att probs 300+ well drama to say the least. 11 ht Pather 31 then down to ten men around 75. Rejuvinated East 23 then in maybe 100th plus minute its 33. Injuries, subs, the sending off of player and poss manager later all added to the time. Chaos outside after.20230402_142753.thumb.jpg.e209cdd3f88a926fa31864b519bd3c1c.jpg20230402_163716.thumb.jpg.53148241b3b7a0746eee7f06118f273c.jpg

  10. At G.Perth v the Ants 3-2 decent game with good goals , two pens and a red card. A tight battle among the top six now, saw Yoker thrash Glasgow Perth back in Feb, they looked a decent side too. Standard easily at Southern League level down south,  with good crowds (anything around 100 +) 20230401_140336.thumb.jpg.89a0a6955628c066f280979dc27e9cbc.jpg

  11. Holiday week begins at Keppoch Park for Glasgow Perthshire 3 St.Anthony's 2 att around 110. Decent game 01 in the 1st minute and the drama carried on through the game, Perth having a pen saved at 1-1, the away manager being sent off (ref didn't help matters despite the abuse he got) and a last minute winner to start wild scenes amongst the home players & support.Decent pie at half time as well. 20230401_140651.thumb.jpg.50e7bea8c19e4d47057e1f55dedb17df.jpg20230401_151349.thumb.jpg.e7182781532002a4b1d2f6242f4290cb.jpg
