  1. When that competition and the benign influence of the SJFA starts to effect other senior competitions (potentially) then it becomes everyone's concern. When the CEO of the SJFA becomes Chairman of a Pyramid league who work in conjuntion with other leagues to make it all work, then if becomes everyone's concern.
  2. Just answer the question. The actions of the CEO of the SJFA and the WoSFL have an impact on the wider Pyramid if competiitons (which are competed for by all LL area clubs) are potentially being manipulated for the benefit of a sideshow called the SJFA.
  3. Yeah the reserve team cannot play in the same competition as their first team ie SCC, EoSQ, nor the Alex Jack Cup as the first team are already a full SFA member. Re the City Cup, yeah probably correct.
  4. So he's there to get the Junior Cup competition as the priority for WoS clubs which is at odds with most of the rest of the Pyramid? a clear conflict of interest, and not healthy.
  5. What's he trying to make better, what are the problems with the WoS that need the CEO of the SJFA to make better?
  6. Yeah they do actually only the League Cup I think, and the King Cup. Not SCC, Qualifying Cup, Scottish Cup, Alex Jack.
  7. Stirling Uni Reserves have played in the EoS since the LL was formed, and they get promoted/relegated, they just dont play in cups. Doesn't harm/effect anyone. I'm going to assume Livingston B will be the same (and Gala Fairydean Rovers Reserves for that matter should they be granted membership).
  8. That doesn't look as thought it's been updated since end of January. Makenzie Kirk is on 27, Callum Sandilands 16, James Wilson 14
  9. Agree, he is only one blazer regardless of position. However, why are clubs nominating him in the first place and why would clubs vote for him IF everyone is invested in making the Pyramid work first and foremost. Why is he even on the WoSFL Board given the conflict of interest, and what club is he representing.
  10. CEO of the SJFA is nomintated for the role of Chairman of the WoSFL. Not only a conflict of interest but a very unusual move, undelined by the change in WoSFL rules to allow it to happen - ie board members can't be associated with any other association, apart from the SJFA. Then there is talk of a proposal to make the SCC entry non-compulsory for WoS clubs with the Junior Cup taking precedence. Coincidence? In light of that, it's reasonable to form an opinion that some people/clubs wouldn't be averse to rolling back the years in the west, and that this could be a first step. Whether any of it happens remains to be seen of course, but it's all very......odd. Have we even established whether he holds a position with a WoSFL club to even be a board member to begin with?
  11. This place is a shitshow, no doubt about that, but the original point stands. Junior takeover of the WoSFL? I guess only time will tell.
  12. Not sure it's batshit mental to point out the possibility of ulterior motives at play should the CEO of the SJFA also become Chairman of the WoSFL.
  13. Oh c'mon, it's not even remotely deceptive.
  14. I'm not aware that there was ever gate share in the League Cup in with either East Region Juniors or EoS, they were treated as league games and trialists could also play. Can't comment on how the LL deal with the final.
  15. To be honest, I can't see much wrong with that type of draw. What does it matter really.
  16. I guess it being a knock-out cup then drawing all away games is always a risk, whether the draw is done per round or done "tennis style". Also, League Cup matches at any level rarely share gates, aren't they generally treated the same as league games? Not heard much bitching about the competition at all really.
  17. I assume you agree that you very much can?
  18. I believe at the 4 leagues meetings (LL, WoS, EoS, SoS) they agree where each club will go in the event of relegation, not sure how much input the clubs have themselves or whether they have the right of appeal. We could get to squeeky bum time for former SPFL clubs as soon as next season if the HL Champ win the play-off, that almost certainly puts both Gretna and Edin Uni down, so for next season it would get a lot tighter at the bottom than ever before, no stick-on certainties for the drop and the team coming up from tier 6 will be competitive.
  19. They could probably shove it 6-8 foot closer and widen the walkway at the rear. Probably cost more than it's worth doing.
  20. Yeah agree with that, although you can already walk behind the "main" stand, that's where the toilets are and accessible from both ends. Terracing at the north end and down the side to halfway would be enough for Spartans really and as you say, stick in toilets and maybe another pie hut open for bigger away supports.
  21. Agree. These modular stands are great for getting seats into place quickly and reasonably cost effective but a lot of them could be doing with going on a plinth/platform so the front row isn't staring at the pitshside barrier.
  22. Yeah the problem is the barrier is maybe 10 foot outside the footprint of the seats and you need to give people room to stand as well. I guess they could cordon the whole area off and shove people round to the other stand, although for Spartans games that's normally the away area.
  23. Looks increasingly likely Dunipace and St.Andrews are going up, and one (or two) from Camelon, Nitten, Whitburn.
