New kits; 2024/25 Edition (new season kits trickling in)

Suspected it was something like this. Without the likes of the Vale being part of the LL back in 2013 then we probably still wouldn’t have a pyramid of any sorts. Club yes but it’s certainly not the same team. They ended up with only about half a dozen players left in March 2023 after their 3rd manager of the season left. Last season proved to be extremely challenging. A few came and went but on the whole everyone fought on all season long and stuck together when it would have been easy to say this is sh*te I’m off. It will probably disappoint you but the club is on a pretty sound footing. The manager and core of players will stick around for another year and see if they can add a few and compete in the 2nd Division. I don’t think I’ve met a friendlier hardworking committee and it’s a good place to visit. You should get yourself down next season .

What’s @superbigal’s problem with the Vale?

Arteta’s Arsenal showed over 38 league games they are light years ahead of Man Utd. Hopefully a most fortuitous cup win will mean the new 25% stakeholder changes his mind and it’s another year for Erik.

I would replace happy just to exist with simply relief to have survived to the end (2 games to go) of the season. -

Queen of the South's Next Permanent Manager

It is. -
Let’s be honest there were 2 long before today. Things very much had an end of season feel to them but ultimately bad defending and finishing cost Liverpool again. 3 to go until Jurgen salutes the Kop and off he goes into the sunset.

The same Craig. Ended up walking round and round the pitch with my hood up. Dire .

They’ve conceded first in far too many games all season but the FA Cup tie at Old Trafford was the beginning of a disastrous spell of not being able to take numerous chances and poor defending. Jota’s injury at Brentford in a 4-1 win proved to be very costly as with Salah away to AFCON he had brilliantly filled that void. Mo seems to have come back from that injury a yard slower and only a proper pre-season and getting trust back in his hamstring can save his top level career.
