  1. How good was it being back at Easter Road by the way? I honestly was grinning for the first few minutes of the game I was just so happy to be back. The game was absolutely bizarre, solid start, goal, bizarre red card and then the game descending into a cage match. I don’t say this lightly but it’s one of the worst referees I’ve ever seen too. Other than that period after the goal we were solid, I reckon they were about low League 1/League 2 level. I suspect we’ll go over there and score a few and win comfortably before succumbing to Rijeka who tbh will be too good for us. Be nice if we can get Mueller in before then though.
  2. I live legit a 30 second walk to the ground and the best place is usually at Leith Links down the bottom. I actually have to move my car down there during games because my street is used for disabled parking on match days, good for a fairly quick getaway.
  3. Chris Mueller of Orlando City - Hibs bound, consensus is that it’s a coup for us, anyone knowledgeable?
  4. People on the forums seem totally adamant he’s Hibs bound. I’ve read up on him and watched some clips and he’s now the best player in the world in my head.
  5. If officers didnt get their days in the book as you call it they would spend the day doing something else. And I also said in my initial post them patrolling building sites would be pointless. Anyway, I’m no really arsed about police budgets or their annual leave handbook, it was just a sly dig at them in the midst of my views on the subject because I don’t trust them and I don’t think their time is spent well.
  6. Yeah but it obviously still uses their resource regardless of where it’s funded by, instead of using hundreds of excess bellends there they could put their time to better use.
  7. Anyone who thinks it’s harmless fun is an absolute moron. I don’t think police should hang around in any specific areas looking for it; 1 because I don’t trust the police and 2 it can happen literally anywhere so what would be the point in that? I wouldn’t be creating a new offence for it but it should definitely come under sexual harassment. My girlfriend this deals with it all the time in Glasgow so much so that she changes what she’s wearing if she’s going to be walking anywhere alone because it makes her that uncomfortable. If the police can afford to shove hundreds of officers at Livingston vs Hibs on a Sunday afternoon in front of 5000 supporters they can spend a bit of time processing fines for weird men being total fucking creeps and making young lassies feel unsafe in the streets.
  8. I think (and hope) they’ve just copy and pasted what was done for the Arsenal game (6pm kick off) by mistake. I’ll be turning up inebriated at 7:30 and not a minute earlier and if I get turned away, I live within a 5 minute walk so I’ll simply go home and watch it whilst continuing to get more inebriated. Edit: I’m correct - scenes
  9. Still one of the best early departure decisions I’ve ever made
  10. I suspect we will, you’re right like but from a selfish perspective first come first served suits me to a tee as someone who is pretty IT savvy and always managed to get away tickets for games in years gone by. Do feel for yer auld das who miss out on that basis though, hopefully won’t have to be a thing for much longer.
  11. Aye, got no problem, missed the Arsenal game because I’m not a mug and the Raith game because I had covid so this’ll be my first time back at the football since we got papped by Aberdeen. Hopefully this time I remain in the ground until beyond the 65th minute.
  12. 1. Rangers 2. Celtic 3. St Johnstone 4. Aberdeen 5. Hibs 6. Hearts 7. Motherwell 8. St Mirren 9. Dundee Utd 10. Livingston 11. Dundee 12. Ross County
  13. So did I, it was fucking rotten, ruined my Christmas, a lot worse than my covid-19 experience, it was like I had eaten 5000 curry’s and drank 5 bottles of glens in one night over the course of 7 days or so.
  14. As a Hibs fan I can confirm he’s always been a dick, since I’ve been aware of him anyway. Gutted I’m not there tonight, had to sell my tickets due to picking up the old covid, isolation doesn’t end until Sunday so a home draft pint in front of the telly has to replace a trip to The Duchess/The Novar for me. Similar to last season our attacking players look good but our defensive players incredibly shaky. Would like to see more of Steven Bradley this season, was good against Arsenal too, could be an exciting young player, also may end up at Edinburgh City, who knows? Impressed with Dylan Tait on the Rovers side, few nice touches, seeing a bit of Dylan McGeouch energy about him.
  15. All I’ve been told is “so that it works properly” when I phoned up to cancel my appointment for Tuesday as I was isolating I was told I would need to wait until 28 days after symptoms appeared. I don’t know if there’s an official NHS answer somewhere but this was the first result I found on googling why, someone else might be able to give you something a bit more credible; https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2021/04/24/how-long-after-having-covid-19-can-you-get-the-coronavirus-vaccine/amp/
  16. It’s definitely been knocked by the number of cases we have just now, I’m one among the many that’ll need to wait until august for their first dose due to getting the virus. Speaking from the people I associate myself with, everyone has either had theres or is waiting on the 28 days from getting the virus to pass before getting their vaccine.
  17. Hibs have applied for a crowd of 9000. I look forward to the announcement of 2500 tickets to be available at £35 a pop.
  18. Fowler's laptop (and with it all the Patreon files) is away getting fixed. He'd said that once it's back up and running he'll be putting up one a day for a while to make up for the interruption. - that is an absolutely tremendous effort
  19. Any idea what’s happening with the Terrace Podcast/Patreon at the moment? Or is my Apple Podcasts App broken? I know they usually take a couple of well deserved weeks off in the summer but nothings coming up for me since the 23rd of June.
  20. Cool - suspect I’ll be doing a walk in by august because appointments don’t seem to work beyond longer than a week at the moment anyway so not sure if that makes it any difference. Don’t mind waiting the 8 weeks between it would just be easier if I didn’t need to wait 4 weeks for my first.
  21. Cheers, might make it by the skin of my teeth, may try and chance it a couple of days before to give a bit of leeway
  22. Not sure if anyone will know more detail about this but I’ve obviously got covid just now and my first dose was meant to be today so I’ve had to postpone. My vaccine now will need to wait and I’m told I need to wait 4 weeks from a positive test for it to work properly which takes me to the 6th of August which would mean a 2nd dose on the 1st of October at the earliest. Anyone know anything about how strictly this is followed and how closely they monitor this/how important it is? I’m due to be going to Italy on the 11th of October and I’m totally paranoid that I’ll end up missing it because I’ll need double jagged minus 3 weeks or something when the time comes. I’m not gonna come out of isolation and go straight for my jag but even moving it a week to 10 days forward would give me a bit more leeway. Anyone knowledgeable at all with that regard?
  23. Tweet has been deleted so I suspect it’s not meant to be in the public domain yet but BYE BYE TANNER
