Players you hated then rated
Les Cabbage replied to deadasdillinger's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
I always had a bit of a thought he’d come good though because he kept getting in positions to score even though he missed more than he scored. I had Newell filed under Josh Vela. -

Joe Newell. Was totally shite when he came in due to Heckingbottom playing him as a left winger, didn’t look bothered or try to run. December 2019 alienated the majority of the fanbase by liking/retweeting tweets about voting Tory. Jack Ross moved him to CM and he’s been one of our best players this season, total revelation. Still a dirty Tory though. -

Shamelessly stolen from Twitter but the account is private so I can’t link it to credit it but... Hibs have played 10 games on a Saturday evening kick off since 2016. W0 D4 L6 Scored 7 Conceded 18 Congratulations, Motherwell. -

I’ll take that, a bit disappointed not to see Ethan Laidlaw given a run out if the rumours are true and he’s heading to Man Utd but 4 goals, £80 transferred to my bank account from Bet365 and a quarter final place, I shan’t complain too much. Just a few hours to kill now till the main event of the day and the weekend, Line of Duty, is broadcast.

Forgive my ignorance but has McNulty been anything other than shite for Dundee Utd this season. Other than a 7/8 game purple patch for us in 2019 he’s really never looked any good at all anytime I’ve seen him.- 125 replies

The Big P&B Hive Mind Euro 2020 Squad Thread/Poll
Les Cabbage replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Tartan Army Ramblings
Updated rule, if you’ve picked a player and he’s pulled out through injury (ie Ryan Jack) you’re humped. No takesies backsies. Deadline for submissions is 21.05 so plenty time to wait to see how things play out.- 91 replies

The Big P&B Hive Mind Euro 2020 Squad Thread/Poll
Les Cabbage replied to Les Cabbage's topic in Tartan Army Ramblings
Indeed, happy to take whatever but the idea behind it was to get a list together of everyone’s picks and pull out the 26 players with the most mentions- 91 replies

On the 19th of May we will have our definitive list of dem boiz representing us at the Euros. In a similar way to how the best poster of 2020 was decided in the Premiership forum; I am going to run a poll to put together a Hive Mind of who we as a forum are deciding should be part of the Scotland squad. As per the above these are to be confirmed on the 1st of June so please either reply with the picks in the thread or send them to me by message. The deadline for the submission is going to be Saturday 15th May at 23:59 to give me time to do some weird spreadsheet shit before I play them back to the forum in probably a mildly unfunny and irritating manner. Please note this date may change if we get any indication we are announcing this earlier in the press. At some point I will produce the final voted for P&B list and we can see how it compares to what Sir Steve Clarke picks and if we fail at the Euros we can all use it as a piece of evidence to present when applying for the job at a later date. I will accept all submissions where the squad you submit is 26 players or less, anyone who sends more will be brutally ignored, if it determines there will only be 25 then the unlucky b*****d with the 26th pick will be left behind at the airport. A minimum of 3 goalkeepers must be selected obviously, apart from that anything goes. Anyone with over 1.5 St Johnstone players included will be publicly shamed. I reserve the right to share any messages with humour to the forum upon posting the results. Once your vote is made it cannot be edited, so if a player is injured, you’re humped.

We hold a revolution if they don’t announce football grounds opening, that’s what I say. Oh and announce the gyms are closed permanently, just for the patter.

I think it’ll be Mike Dryden from Series 2 that she’s related to.

Rangers v Hibs - Sunday 11th
Les Cabbage replied to AJF's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
At half time I felt we were unlucky to be behind Tbf, was pretty even, 2nd half we sat off too much and showed too much respect, was good to get the goal back and I’m not totally sure why Porteous’ goal was disallowed? (Albeit my stream wasn’t great). Next 3 games are winnable, wins please Hibs. -

Someone on Hibs bench born in 2005. That’s enough reality for one day for me I think.
