What a difference when you're attitude is more positive.Good performance especially second half from most players.Midfield and attacking play looks like it's on the up,a little more composure upfront with final ball,could have won this game. Souda 6/10 Some nice touches, tends to stand off attacking players when he is back defending McMillan 5/10 On for 12 minutes, to be honest never really notice much Formation 4-4-2 ??? HOLT-- It's obvious he's had strong words with the squad since Saturday,and most of the players have stepped up , the defence have let the rest of the players down, Concentration ?? looked very ragged . I've seen much better Motherwell teams than this,if it wasn't for Livi's poor defence it could have been 3 points

You're selection is fair enough, the way I look at player selection is by their last 2 games and formation. I've nothing against Pittman he's done great in the past,but the last 2 games he's barely been seen,you can't keep playing players on how good they were in the past There are other players that have been terrible the last 2 games,but for some that's down to formation As for Fizzywater he's not been great last 2 games,I think there is something more than a defender about him,he goes looking for the ball, the second half him and Tiffoney were getting some good movement down the right.I can see him in midfield,my opinion I think Holt will play 5 at the back again + 2 defensive midfielders,Pittman won't be dropped,and Dykes will be isolated, and his only service from long punts from the back Holt will be trying for a draw... I think Motherwell will win this easy enough,saw them against Ross County should have got a draw I wonder if any the players or Management look at these forums

When you have seven defensive players on the field your going to have problems scoring,Bartley, Sibbald, Ambrose are happy playing in their own half, with Pittman running along the 18 yard box doing nothing waiting for the ball.Dykes only service is from long punts from the back.The whole movement from back to front is far to slow,with the ball being given away,and first touch ball control has been terrible I would give Tiffoney,Forrest,ATS & McMillan a start.Out Devlin,Sibbald,Pittman,Ambrose McCrorie McMillan Guthrie Brown ATS Fizzywater Crawford Bartley Tiffoney Forrest Dykes Subs- Poplatnik,Robinson,Ambrose,Souda

Looking at this team,it's not just the formation that's a worry it's the type of players you have,I have to agree this 5 at the back is wrong,I think this can be put right,but as an attacking force that leaves 5 players to get things moving, this is where the big problems start Ambrose,Bartley,Sibbald are defensive/central midfielders with no thrust or pace,Pittman is supposed to be playing behind the front 2,but always seems to be where the ball isn't ,in otherwords his reading of the game is a problem.So until you find 3 attacking midfielders with a good touch and pace,and a winger with confidence to beat their man you're going nowhere. Sibbald,Pittman,Devlin need dropped for terrible performance. Fizzywater,Ambrose need to be left out for a formation change more attack minded players

You mean 8 at the back,including the goalkeeper, LB and RB that wont go over the half way line,and 2 defensive midfielders

Pittman ,Sibbald,Devlin ,done nothing,they all need dropped ,I agree Taylor-Sinclair and McMillan with Brown and Guthrie at centre half,midfield looks a big problem

McCrorie 3/10 Poor distribution, rushes, always punting the ball to try find Dykes Fitzwater 3/10 First half looked lost,slow,caught sleeping,second half slightly better at right back. Guthrie 2/10 Slow,looked unfit,caught sleeping most of the game,terrible game. Brown 3/10 Again lost in defence,poor passing,usually reads the game well ,not today Devlin 1/10 Frightend of the ball,reluctant to go forward,defending is terrible,not good enough for top league Bartley 2/10 Compared to last week this display was lazy,lacked interest was quite happy trying to slow the game, and give freekicks away. Sibbald 1/10 Lazy,Slow,ball control and passing terrible,not good enough for top league Ambrose 2/10 Looked tired and of the pace,terribe as a defensive unit. Pittman 1/10 What can I say? Was he on the field first half,just can't seem to get into the game,as last week the game just passes him by,not good enough for top league Robinson 5/10 Trier,good wee run in second half,the game tended to swallow him up,with lack of support . Dykes 4/10 Again ran all day,plenty of energy,his touch,and freekicks,and non existent midfield let him down. Tiffoney 6/10 Looked bright and up for it,positive play,done more in 17 minutes than Pittman and Sibbald done in the whole game. Poplatnik Invisible second half,got to give the guy a chance,more on him in the weeks ahead. Forrest 5/10 Good pace,poor ball control,the game was well gone before he came on. Kouider-Aissaat On for 9 minutes,not long enough to judge,saying that never noticed him. Formation 5-3-2 ?? Disjointed team,disjointed display,ball control passing atrocious,slow buid up,Lack of interest especially in the first half. Hibs didn't need to be anything special to win this game. Holt ---- Five at the back again,Three midfielders. Two of them in Bartley and Sibbald central/defensive midfielders,and Pittman attacking,and anonymous again. Dykes and Robinson have to fall back to get the ball.Just can't see where goals or points are coming from.

Sibbald 1/10 The 1 point is for the shot that hit post,slow,ball shy,no drive,disappears especially in a position that's vital. Ambrose 7/10 Again Solid display,always trying to get into the game,let down by those around him. Pittman 1/10 Poor last year,this game he was invisible,disappears when needed,very poor,to easily knocked of the ball Forrest 2/10 Had a good shot at goal,otherwise anonymous Dykes 3/10 Plenty energy,could run all day,terrible support from midfield.Was he guarding tait at goal ?.Could struggle for goals with this poor midfield Robinson 5/10 Did ok not on long enough to make an impact Kouider-Aissa 2/10 30 minutes to shine, was never seen except for the free kick from a great position he fired into the wall. Poor Tactics playing 3 central defenders against a team playing 1 forward,no punch in midfield,no creativity ,far to many players ball shy..Pittman,Sibbald,Forrest,Devlin and any of the 3 central defenders could have been hooked . The second half, The St Mirren defence won everything, and looked very impressive
