  1. When Hearts are attacking through central midfield there are no Livi midfield players anywhere near the centre circle, they're all in the 18 yard box trench
  2. A cup tie and all the Livi midfield playing in defence,Omeonga and Pittman anonymous,Forrest no help from the midfield,Nouble doesn't look quick to me A ragged and defensive display
  3. Are Omeonga and Pittman on the park
  4. This game was wasted by constant fouling, not a great watch, but a great 3 points for Livi, the first half again Livi had the 3 midfielders sitting too deep, the first 25 min Forrest was invisible due to the whole midfields tactics.Second half Livi got the midfield playing in the Dons half, and Forrest seen more of the ball. Lewis is one of the worst midfielders I've ever seen period,Chuky looks poor, but not enough game time to fully access. For me,Pittmans best days are behind him Stryjek 7/10 Devlin 8/10 Fitzwater 6/10 Obileye 6.5/10 Penrice 5.5/10 Omeonga 6/10 Holt 7/10 Lewis 1/10 Montaño 5/10 Anderson 5/10 Forrest 8.5/10 Pittman 4/10 Chukwuemeka Boyes Bailey
  5. St Johnstone deserved this win, with a sturdy determined display,Livi played well in patches, good going forward but no central midfield, giving Saints control through the middle If you're going with Bailey on one wing and Forrest on the other and Anderson through the middle the midfield players need to be playing up at centre of the park. There was far too much hoofball, missing out the midfield trying to find the wingers Pittman done nothing in the middle,Holt sitting too deep,Omeonga sitting to deep in the first half, good second half.Saints always looked like they had an extra man and covered the park better overall Livi had to many large areas of the park empty which is down to bad tactics,2 wingers and 2 defensive midfielders is unbalanced in a 4-3-3 Stryjek 6/10 Devlin 7/10 Good second half Fizzywater 6/10 Obeileye 5/10 Jittery,to laid back Penrice 5/10 Good first half, Disappeared 2nd half Holt 4/10 If playing with 2 wingers, needs to get into central midfield Pittman 2/10 Done nothing Omeonga 6/10 Good in 2nd half Bailey 6/10 Good when on the ball Anderson 6/10 Forrest 9/10 The 3 subs done nothing to alter the game
  6. Livi very unbalanced tactics, sitting too deep,Bailly playing in his own half in front of Devlin. Pittman,Omeonga Holt don't won't get out of their own half,Forrest to deep struggling to get into the game, no midfield players willing to get forward,no help for help for Nouble, They'll take nothing from this game playing 8 men in their own half
  7. To little to late, deserved nothing from this game, according to Bbc sport Livi played a 3-1-4-2,what a shambles, the tactics are bewildering, that setup in my opinion was a 6-2-2, Fizzywater at RB, Obileye and Kelly in CD,Longridge and Penrice both at LB,getting in each others way,Holt and Omeonga resorted to playing just in front front of 18 yard line. Omeonga played great against Hibs, other than that game has done absolute nothing,Sibbald and Forrest best players again today.Shinnie can't play upfront, or as an attacking midfielder,he's too slow, his workrate borders on being lazy. When you have 8 defensive type players in the starting 11 you're never going create chances Week in week out, Forrest and a not fully fit Sibbald are left to carry this lot Stryjek 5/10 First goal, positioning standing to far to one side Fizzywater 5/10 Longridge 2/10 Obileye 5/10 Not up to his usual standard Kelly 3/10 Invisible Holt 3/10 Overall poor, every shot he tries from good positions ends 10ft over Omeonga 2/10 Runs about looking busy, done nothing creative Sibbald 6/10 Not fully fit yet imo, left to do too much Penrice 5/10 A couple of runs, other than that ended up in defence in fron of Longridge Forrest 7/10 Another guy that does more than his fare share Shinnie 3/10 Slowwwww with a poor workrate Anderson 6/10 Could be a good forward, starved of the ball by Martindales tactics McMillan 3/10 Getting his chance in midfield, gets the ball in a good forward poition to run at the defence, decides to pass the ball back to a defender Panayiotou 3/10
  8. Scrappy game, both teams were rather poor,still a gritty performance overall Stryjek. 6/10 Devlin. 4/10 Fizzywater. 8/10 Obileye. 8/10 Penrice 5/10 McMillan 3/10 Holt. 7/10 Omeonga 1/10 Forrest 7/10 Anderson 5/10 Montano 4/10 Pittman. 3/10 Shinnie. 6/10 Bailly. 3/10
  9. Omeonga ,Mc Milan ,Montana have done nothing something needs changed in the midfield, back to hoofball after 25 min, Forrest's having to come deep to get on the ball, the midfield need to wake up
  10. The Hearts game was lost by Martindale, and 2 central defenders that wander out of position, too slow to read danger, don't close down quick enough, leave gaps. Fizzywater is not a bad player ,he's not commanding, strong or sturdy enough to be a centre back. As for Martindale he's the biggest culprit, takes the best 3 midfielder off within a ten minute period and replaces them with 3 forwards, all of a sudden the good play from the first half was out the window Mc Milan looks very good in midfield, Sibbald excellent, Omeonga,Penrice,Forrest,Holt all excellent I would keep Mc Millan in the midfield, If Fizzywater is in the team move him to defensive Midfield and move Holt further forward Shinnie will not do upfront, his work rates terrible, to slow.easily knocked of the ball, even in midfield he disappears. Hibs, Dundee U, Ross C, Motherwell, ST Johnstone and Dundee 4 home 2 away If Martindale doesn't take a decent amount of points here ,there should be no debate,no way back he should be out the door
  11. It's obvious Martindale has taken MY advice to get players up the park with every attack, the first 10 minutes of the game is the way to play, quick movement, passing, and decision making The team as a whole looked more up for it, looked sharper, tracked better, less individual mistakes. 4-2-3-1 Stryjek 7/10 No bloopers ,great save from Kane. Devlin 7/10 Better in first half Fizzywater 6/10 Done ok, quiet in an effective way Obileye 7/10 More alert today, and a flash of ball skill in first half Penrice 3/10 Invisible for long spells Holt 6/10 Steady, played a more defensive roll Omeonga 7/10 Good turn of pace, gets the team up the park quick, needs better control when on the ball, gets bit panicky Bailey 7/10 Good ball control and pace, tends to disappear for spells Pittman 6/10 Eager, and lively, good bursting runs from deep, ball control still lets him down Montaño 5/10 Good in patches, doesnt do enough overall Anderson 7/10 Plays better when the team attack in numbers Longridge 5/10 Quiet Mc Millan 4/10 Didn't do much Sibbald / On to late to judge Forrest 6/10 Lively good pressing and shot near end
  12. Another drab game,St.Mirren probably just deserved the win,Martindale has nowhere to hide, changes needed before it's too late 4-3-3 Stryjek 2/10 Not much to do, mistake costs another 3 points McMillan 1/10 Done nothing Fizzywater 3/10 Stood of Saints player for the goal, stretched all over the place Obileye 4/10 Lapses in concentration, his nickname should be Sleepy The Dreamer Longridge 4/10 Caught out of position, constant fouling Omeonga 6/10 Good runner in middle, but over runs the ball too much, which ends up him fouling Holt 6/10 Good engine does what's asked, too much fouling in every game Penrice 3/10 In the game more second half, still not good enough Forrest 7/10 Tried hard, best player today Shinnie 1/10 Be aswell sitting in the stand Bailey 2/10 Just can't get himself into the games, Livi system doesn't help Anderson 1/10 Done nothing for the 40 minutes Hamilton 1/10 Done nothing for the 12 minutes Devlin 5/10 Done ok for the 26 minutes
  13. Right, Where to start, first of all, the situation at this moment in time doesn't look very promising I honestly don't see a way out this season, the squad is so unbalanced it's hard to pick an attacking team, there are 5 and 6 of the same type of players, Martindale has not recruited well, his lack of attacking midfielders has finally caught up with him, the build up play is so slow, the wingers can't get into the game, the reluctance of the midfield getting up the park is worrying. The defence is not perfect, but that's the least of the worries, movement in the midfield needs to be much quicker, but they don't have the right players to play these positions. Quite simply they will have to change the tactics whether they have the right players or not. They need 5 players getting forward EVERYtime they attack. There needs to be more hunger, and desire when not on the ball, in the Hearts game they looked well of the pace, tired, the fitness levels were no where near 100% After watching all the teams in the League, Livi look the worst , Ross County look more lively ,St.Mirren just look better all over, and Dundee are more dangerous upfront 4-1-4-1 would be my tactics with the 3 midfielders,1 winger and striker up the park, with 1 defensive midfielder, and four at the back. Keep with this 8 man defence/midfield will end up being relegated, better to go down fighting with more attacking .
  14. Some of the Livi posters on here need to realise this season is on a downward spiral, and if left to continue there's going to be no way back. The tactics, the attitude, the desire, the passing, the constant fouling, no midfield drive, they just don't have the type of players for quick midfield attacking, they continually struggle to get players forward... I watched the Arbroath game last night, their midfield were quick, alert, attacking in numbers, creating numerous chances, their passing, and ability to get the ball up the park by the wingers and bursts from midfield were great to watch, these guys are part time and still looked quicker and fitter and much better quality than what Livi have. And it was Kilmarnock a premier class type team they were playing. If Nouble returns in January he will be starved of service, and isolated in this team. Shots on target = 1 straight at the keeper System 4-4-2 which was actually a 8-1-1 Stryjek 6/10 Fine game, slices to many pass backs Devlin 5/10 Trier, lacked a bit composure with passes Obileye 3/10 In a dream world at times, slow reactions . Fizzywater 4/10 Trier, Back to making mistakes Penrice 1/10 Rubbish McMillan 0/10 Rubbish Holt 2/10 Spent the whole game trying to defend Williamson 0/10 Probably 1 of the worst on the park Lewis 1/10 Invisible and rubbish Shinnie 5/10 Tried to get into game, no support from anywhere. Bailey 1/10 Happy doing nothing, no desire, no effort, Anderson 1/10 The 1 is for the shot, done nothing, will always struggle with no midfield or wingers. Longridge 1/10 As bad as Lewis Omeonga 3/10 Done nothing, he's quite good at kicking players though Martindale 0/10 how much longer ?
  15. Week in week out the midfield sit in front of the defence, with no desire to get up the park
  16. I'm not here to slag the team as you all think, why not be honest with yourself and admit this team are crap
  17. Livi 10 man defence ,no movement,Martidale is needing fired, and take the these players with him,all these livi supporters on here that tell me I don't know nothing, this team are utter crap
  18. Some of these livi players are needing a hard boot up the arse,Martindale is far to cautious in his approach especially for a cup tie,he just can't see when players are playing shite,The whole midfield sitting in front of the defence again, some players are doing basically nothing,Montano looked knackered after 3 minutes,Baily is very lazy,Shinnie looked weak and slow, but still played him upfront by himself, with no midfielders willing to run,if the midfield are not going to get up the park, they're all needing binned. SHOTS ON TARGET = 0 SHOTS = 0 Corners = 0 Stryjek 4/10 Done ok except for the mistake for goal. Devlin 6/10 Put in a good shift defending Obileye 5/10 To laid back tonight. Fizzywater 5/10 Tried hard enough, mistakes starting to appear again. Penrice 5/10 Done ok, at least tried Bailey 2/10 Playing out on wing, very lazy, invisible,no desire Omeonga 6/10 Best midfielder, but 2 sloppy moments that caused a goal Holt 3/10 Nowhere near Sundays performance, spent whole game trying to defend. Lewis 2/10 Done nothing ,no forward runs, just nothing Montaño 0/10 This guy was rubbish, couldn't run, couldn't tackle Shinnie 2/10 Absolutely hopeless, weak, slow, but not his fault blame Martindale McMillan 2/10 Let Hagi walk into the box without a tackle ,hop Forrest 2/10 Done nothing couldn't get on the ball Anderson 2/10 Did he get a touch.... Martindale tactics are becoming unbearable, that win over Celtic save him forever
  19. Well done Livi a great result, most players were very good. With the formation a 4-5-1,all the midfield got deeper and deeper as the game went on, and ended up as defenders, so why was this happening ? most of it's down to panicking when receiving the ball they were giving the ball straight back So I was wrong in 0/1 point out of first 6 games, but let's not get carried away 4 out of 18 points is bad, the only positives are other teams are struggling to get points Stryjek 7/10 Good game Devlin 7/10 Good game Obileye 8/10 Very composed Fizzywater 7/10 If he played like that every game, there would less problems at the back Longridge 4/10 Set up the goal, but mostly invisible Williamson 3/10 Didn't do much, not impressed Lewis 6/10 Good second half, gritty performance McMillan 3/10 Again didn't do much, not impressed Holt 8/10 Very busy, great game. Penrice 4/10 Needs to try and get more involved in the game, panicky when on ball Shinnie 8/10 Great game Bailey 6/10 Did Ok for time on park, mostly defending Forrest 6/10 Always dangerous on the break, but ended up doing more defending. Pittman 5/10 Done Ok, chasing down and defending, no threat going forward.
  20. There are problems all over this Livi squad, at the back, midfield, and upfront First of all, this is not a quality squad, as some people on here are led to believe There are players that were good in their day, not so long ago, that have not been able to regain the form from 2 or 3 years ago, and are simply not good enough now. Then there are the players that were never good enough to start with. The next problem is tactics/system which is completely unbalanced, there are players that are not good enough, and even worse can't play in positions asked. There are players in the squad I can't comment on as I've not seen them playing For some of the ones I've seen Jackson Longridge - not good enough Jack Fizzywater - to many lapses in concentration, slow at balls over the top, just not sturdy enough, weak tackling . Ayo Obileye - Hesitant in the box, other than that don't know if good enough Keaghan Jacobs - Good servant over the years ,not good enough now Scott Pittman - Once a energetic ball carrier, goal scorer and play maker, has lost all these attributes, and offers very little....This is in my view is Livi's biggest problem now, they don't have any attacking midfielders. Craig Sibbald - Lets get this straight ,he is Not an attacking midfielder, you sometimes see him upfront, but lacks pace , his fitness/energy levels are questionable, more suited to central midfield, and a slower paced game Jason Holt - Very similar to Sibbald, plays deeper than Sibbald, can't play attacking midfield Andrew Shinnie - Suited to central midfield, not seen any sign of being a ball carrier, or bursts from midfield, more or less the same player as Sibbald Jack McMillan - Is not good enough, cant see him being any better after injury . Sean Kelly - Simply not good enough James Penrice- Not good enough Jaze Kabia - Not good enough, done nothing anytime I've seen him Forrest & Bailey - on the wings have potential, but are usually invisible, starved of the ball, doesn't help with a slow paced midfield Anderson - Seems lively enough, but the problem is no Forward will be any good in this current team, until they have at least 2 attacking midfielders on the park Jack Hamilton - Livi fans waiting and waiting on him becoming a top striker, is never going to happen, No chance.... he's no pace, no energy, cant run with ball, positional sense and reflexes not good enough So no attacking midfield players, unless you call the wingers attacking that's the biggest problem
  21. In football when you set up for a draw against a better team, you usually get beat Why play 3 midfielders that are happy playing along the halfway line, and 2 wingers who are hugging the touch line, and for long periods out of the game,1 man up top with no hope of causing any problems. You just can't have all your midfield sitting deep, with 2 wingers deprived of the ball, no midfielders willing to burst forward, there are too many players in this team with lack of pace, and don't know where they're supposed to be playing. As I said at the start of season Livi will have 0 or 1 point out of first 6 games. So that's 4 down with 0 points..... Formation 4-1-4-1 Stryjek 4/10 Jittery today Devlin 4/10 Gets dragged out of position too often Obileye 4/10 Not a centre back, could be ok as defensive midfielder, only problem is all Livi midfield are defensive minded with no pace. Fitzwater 4/10 Not totally convinced by his defending balls over the top Penrice 3/10 Does very little Holt 4/10 Not an attacking midfielder Bailey 6/10 Obvious he has pace, could be a good player alongside better players. He was invisible last week Sibbald 4/10 Not an attacking midfielder Shinnie 4/10 Not an attacking midfielder Forrest 3/10 Can be good, no help from midfield, disappears for long spells Anderson 2/10 On todays showing poor, but not totally all his fault, no midfield support Kelly 1/10 Never see him do anything good, can't defend Jacobs 1/10 Another defensive midfielder, who is now not good enough Hamilton 1/10 Not his fault, but will never be good enough, he's not lazy just naturally very slow, as the saying goes.... I've seen milk turn quicker

  23. Even game, too many mistakes from both teams, the Well looked much sharper up front. Pittman,Baily,Anderson,Fizzywater,Obileye poor overall, best for Livi were Forrest,Shinnie,Holt,Devlin. Still problems at the back, lack of drive in midfield, lack of positional sense upfront, relying too much on Forrest creating chances, lack of back up from midfield going forward. As I said at start of season 0 or 1 Point from 1st 6 league games, getting close and I'm not often wrong Remember don't blame me, ask Martindale what's wrong Stryjek 4/10 Devlin 4/10 Fitzwater 3/10 Obileye 3/10 Longridge 3/10 Holt 5/10 Pittman 2/10 Sibbald 2/10 Bailey 2/10 Anderson 2/10 Forrest 7/10 Hamilton 0/10 Shinnie 6/10 Kelly 2/10
