Totally clueless system

I wonder why they can't play the Ross County game midweek,all these postponed games should be played the nearest following mid week Kilmarnock home ,Aberdeen away Celtic away,don't know where the points are coming from there The first 20 minutes today at least Livi had more players in the Hibs half, Guthrie is a centre forward, playing too deep,doesn't create any shots,flicks the ball into empty spaces Martindale is helpless ,as he doesn't have the quality especially creative quick players He continually plays Shinnie,Pittman,Sean Kelly,Guthrie,Holt. The only way I see out of this is to bring in 3 new midfielders and a striker, if that doesn't happen, they'll need Anderson,Stephen Kelly , and some of the younger players brought in because the boat is sinking fast. Raith Rovers v Patrick Thistle watching it on Friday 2 teams with much more talent than Livi.

Martindale. he's trying his hardest to get the bullet ,unbelievable line up Shinnie Pittman,Sean Kelly,Guthrie,Holt Clueless you're time is up ,better to go down fighting with a team of youngster's 1 goal in 7 games Bye Bye

Still posters on here with rose tinted glasses syndrome, praising Martingale's signings and lone deals I totally agree with Atlis assessment on these duds. He's coming round to my way of thinking Trust me here! !! I will reiterate my thought s on the useless midfield that will be the downfall of Livi,. I don't care what Pittman's done in the past he's done at this level , the and the quicker Martindale See's this the better I don't care what Martindale thinks of Shinne he's useless at this level Stephen Kelly will need to show a lot more willingness, and alertness,to make up for his lack off pace Sangare, Guthrie,Shaun Kelly,Bradley, were never the standard needed for the Premiership Holt holds down a roll that's insignificant ,and brings nothing to the attack,and causes endless free kicks Nouuble had us all fooled ,great for 3 or 4 months ,and then totally crashed,he's had plenty of time since his injury to impress Penrice,Montano,and Anderson are the only players with any ability when on form So there is the problem!!! ,no Creative midfield runners,player's that simply can't play in these positions Martindale's has no attacking style,his main focus is containing the opposition, stringing 7 players along the back,lack of belief in the players or his setup.

There is no direction,no apparent style or structure from this team, or Martindale,he can't get anything out this lot because they're simply not upto Premiership standard ,they would struggle in the championship that's a fact.. Most players in the team are not of the standard required and that's Martindale's doing, a squad full of players with no pace or ball skills, I've been telling Livi posters on here for 2 years that certain players are finished and was laughed at,well I don't see any of you baw heads laughing now NOW Listen. PITTMAN,SHINNIE,HOLT,GUTHRIE,SHAUN KELLY,BRADLEY, NOUBLE,PARKS, ,MARTINDALE and his coach , at this minute of time are dragging Livi into a total collapse I can't see Brian Rice getting anymore from this squad,and there are even more players not mentioned above that also need binned

Shinnie,Pittman, Sangare would be better off sitting in the stand, Is Martindale trying to get Livi relegated

Out with system's you wonder why Livi can't get any shots on target ...there is only one reason and that's the mobility of the midfield,...Livi don't have any pace in the whole team,Montano and Penrice are the only 2 players that can run any distance without losing the ball,the rest are mostly static and refuse to get forward,the way I see it the whole midfield are basically another line of defenders The system 3-4-2-1 end up. 7-2-1. ... A 4-3-3 ends up 7-2-1. ... A 4-3-2-1 ends up a 7-2-1 .....A 5-3-2 ends up a 7-2 -1 The whole midfield just love playing in their own half,until that changes nothing will change,..but they don't have any player's that can

What a lot of rubbish,it doesn't matter what system these players play ,they are not good enough it's that SIMPLE, nothing complicated about that I Don't know what you're watching, but the whole midfield are defending nearly every game. The whole midfield create nothing,they're slow,unfit,can't run with the ball Nouble is done, are you guys blind, Shinnie and Pittman are done,At this moment Livi are the worst team in the League,Martindale can chop and change players and systems every week, it won't work with these players The only hope is at least 5 or six new players coming in January

All the original Livi posters on here seem to be turning on their team, what's up guy's???,this team would make your eyes bleed That display is an absolute embarrassment to football,playing for a draw got what they deserved.You simply can't go on like this, 10 players defending for 95% of the game. Just for starter's Sangare,Shinnie,Pittman,Nouble,Holt, Guthrie ,Shaun Kelly,need binned straight away, their contracts need ripped up.. Martindale's tactics are defeatest,this needs to stop... Remember it was Martindale that brought these players in The next window Livi need at least 7 or 8 new players

Livi will sit in we all know that, the problem is they can't counter through midfield,there is no midfield players capable of running from midfield with the ball without making an arse of it ..You could hoofball up to Anderson, can't see that working either.The only way is through Penrice and maybe Brandon down the wings, to the sole striker Anderson. I'll be surprised if Livi manage a shot on target.... I'm going to scrutinise the midfield tomorrow just to see if they can at least string a pass together. I wonder if Nouble will be dribbling in circles around himself and falling over as usual.... If Pittman is playing he'll do plenty of running about but not with the ball... But then again you never know.....they might actually Win.. maybe a deflection or an og..

Overall Martindale has done a great job at Livi ,there have been a few really rocky roads along the way but he's managed to survive,you just have to look around the other Scottish leagues there a lot bigger teams than Livi been struggling for years Falkirk,Dunfermline, Patrick,so if you look at it overall I don't think Livi would still be in the Premier without him Some of his singings have been very good over the year's ,and his tactics have been decent when he had better players the last couple of years. I think there has been a lot of panic buy's ,especially this latest lot ,.I wonder if he's made a big mistake with this lot, and realized they are not good enough for the way he wants them to play,and there seems to be a situation even he can't reverse All the best to him if he decides to move on and he could do Livi one last favour if he took 80% of the current squad...

Some on here were saying all will be fine at the back when Devlin's back from injury, well what's happened there ? As for young talent Bradley and Makay are not going to get any better,you can hope, wait,it's not going to happen The midfield is a shambles static, Kelly,Shinnie, are done at this level far to slow no movement or industry from them, Holt and Pittman have been good players over the years but time moves on Pittman is done , Holt is on the downwards slope, he plays in a position that's basically not productive, you can pass the ball around at the back all day it doesn't get you goals If you're all waiting for Nouble too come good you'll have a long wait Don't be frightened to say it Guthrie is not worth his wages ,useless Montana and Penrice are the only 2 players that can inject pace without losing the ball Sangare has some nice touches, his work rate and pace is nowhere good enough Its obvious Livi don't have Scouts taking in any games ,I honestly could go find some decent young players with pace,hunger, and do the basics CONTROL PASS,RUN with the ball without constantly making an arse of it , and would gladly take the wages this lot are on..

He hide's ,can't get himself into games,too hesitant on the ball, weak mentality, needs to come out of his shell ,there is a player there but will we ever see it very unlikely, Martindale hasn't got a clue where to play him , I would play him behind the strikers,and tell him don't come back into your half....

First off all, the better team won easily for their second half performance Abysmal performance in front of the weans from Livi Stale,Slow,the ball control and passing was really really really Abysmal Dave's tactics were all over the shop, didn't matter what he tried, nothing worked.Dave's bad recruitment in players is starting to show their true worth,and never mind the patter we can't afford any better players. Seriously Whitburn Junior have got a crop of quick young players that can pass,control a ball and score that would do better than Bradley, Mackay, Kelly,Guthrie(how many goals has Guffrie scored) these guys are simply not good enough Kelly can't run, surely you Livi posters on here can see this. Nouble is done that's a fact There's no solidity at the back with de Lucas and Devlin,and worst of all a blank midfield.... George 3/10 Lacks awareness,hopeless at crossballs de Lucas 3/10 Too many mistakes,got himself in a guddle all afternoon Devlin 3/10 Was as bad as de Lucas Montaño 7/10 The only Livi player that can beat a man,but was rightly sent off,shocker stamping down on the guy's leg,should get a 3 game ban for that Mackay 2/10 Out of his depth,ball cotrol terrible Holt 5/10 Ok in is own half today,no creative influence offensively Kelly 2/10 No pace,no anything really Penrice 3/10 Lost today on the left wing,not all his fault though. Bradley 2/10 Out of his depth,will never do Nouble 2/10 I think Nouble has never recovered from that injury and is finished... Anderson 3/10 Tried but not in the game,not him to blame for the crap service from midfield and the wing Brandon Shinnie Guthrie

It doesn't really matter what players, or system Dave starts with tomorrow, we should all know by now what will happen , they'll shuffle into their usual 9 playing in their own half, 1 midfielder in the opposition half, and big Kurtis ' Noddy' Guthrie nodding the ball into No mans land. The 2 Kelly's, Pittman and Shinnie are hopeless with their ball control.. especially Pittman. ..I would put De Lucus into midfield, he can trap and control the ball ,and run with it with his long strides, Nouble will do most of his lazy work out wide on the halfway line, Penrice can hurt the opposition with his runs ,but Dave will have him doubling up at left back, Holt will be his usual self playing up to the half way line, then retreating back to the 18 yard box

That was a heartless defeatist performance, riddled with mistakes, bad defending, nobody in central midfield , the structure tactics was clueless ,midfield playing as defenders, 8 at the back at times and still managed to ship 3 goals, pinging the ball about at the back in the second half with no urgency De Lucus and Penrice launching long balls into orbit .Nouble cant get by a man since his injury, players constantly slipping with their skating boots Pittman and Shinnie happy to sit deep with no penetrating runs ,no wingers, what was Penrice supposed to be doing Anderson and Holt done well enough today, the rest were poor, I don't think players know what system their trying to play

Playing like that they wouldn't win against any of the league far less Celtic
