  1. It seems harsh to criticise Super6 as being something players don't want to win when there's never even been a completed season for it yet! (Stick the boot in for the lack of a Glasgow team instead!)
  2. Hope we see Aperre / Shankland / Chalmers front three again at some point this season. Plenty movement and link-up attempted. Looked bright for the last 10-15 mins.
  3. If you just say Premiership a lot just assume you mean English PL. If you just say SPFL it refers to the 42 teams. The rebrand was weak. Twitter trending with 'SPL' 8 years later proves that.
  4. Have seen curry pies at Scottish stadiums before (Sure Partick Thistle used to have balti in seasons gone by!) Away crowds up for sure if yous bring the pakora upgrades.
  5. What's the extent of the work they're doing on the old stand at Fir Park? New seats and a lick of paint? See more and more seats ripped out each week on Sportscene. Hope they bring back the old slogan back on the roof for nostalgia's sake!
  6. I always just prefer the 'Get Top 6 and you can't be relegated' way of doing it. Maybe a bit beyond us, but we're better placed than two games ago!
  7. Seems reasonable. Now watch them turn the 12-12 leagues into that 8-8-8 split idea. The Simpsons monkey paw League Reconstruction!
  8. If people aren't following rugby all that much they've maybe missed Warriors growing into Glasgow's 3rd most followed sports team. They sell out Scotstoun ~7,500 (pre-COVID) and are working with the council to plan an extension to ~11,000. Just based on the Glasgow East Stand crowd I don't think it was stereotypical 'posh folk' that were the main drivers of growing the support. There's a definite reputation from other fans in the Pro League, they notice Glasgow's support is a bit different. You'll often read it's more football like with the noise and more booing of opponents antics than most others! Wouldn't expect score updates or reports for Glasgow on Sportsound, but the National Team in the 6nations is totally different.
  9. How good are the weekends when the sport just clicks. United win for the first time in ages, and Scotland at Twickenham. There's been plenty the other way so I'm enjoying today!
  10. That makes a lot of sense then. Hadn't considered where he was before going back to Saints!
  11. Is there a deliberate tie-up with Millwall and St Johnstone, or is it just a coincidence there's been a few deals of late? (There was the forward, Olaofe, in the summer window as well)
  12. The league title ended up at Tannadice and the videos aren't in black and white. Remarkable what he was able to do with a team that had won nothing before he arrived.
  13. Too young to have watched his sides play but the sides he built, that fill many pages of our history books, make him an absolute icon at United. The cracking play that was put on at the Dundee Rep earlier in the year, a summary of his football career and some daft stories along the way, was probably the last live event a number of United fans would have been at before the world changed.
  14. I don't like the direction they are going with the Pro League expansion. They've absolutely shat over the Cheetahs as well. I do get they need to chase some sort of money though. For proof of that see Glasgow finding it impo$$ible to keep the fly-half from joining fucking Gloucester!
  15. Thought we looked the best we've done in a while tonight. Fuchs and Mcnulty getting up to speed is only going to be a good thing. Who'd have thought he'd actually go 4 at the back and open it up? Same against Motherwell next time out.
  16. Best Christmas present is he surprises us all and starts 442
  17. Poor game. Shame the fog in second half. Ruined it. Never a penalty though.
  18. This just a free scouting report for the OF to make bids in January? If so - Adam King. What a player.
  19. You's wanted to be first on Sportscene last week. Will this even make Sportscene this week? United take a lot of blame for that. Awful game plan from MM, none of those United long balls were ever going to end up with goals.
  20. I remember C. Smith scoring a hattrick within the first 30 mins of a League Cup tie against Partick (2016/17?). It stood out as one of the rare times we played very, very well at that time! Impressive feat for Smith individually too. Can’t remember any quicker home hattricks at Tannadice in my time going.
  21. Nah, it's a just supply issue. We've got pretty poor wingers and attacking mid in terms of creating chances.
  22. Banker that someone will post in the Official Page Facebook comments that "Mcmullan is like a new signing" with no hint of irony.
  23. We need to agree to a clean, fair contest. Because we've also been doing alright in a couple of games... then gone to shit against 10 men. (Hanging on against St Mirren, dropped points against St Johnstone)
