  1. Maybe its meant to be like that... Admittedly it's not very well presented but I'm led to believe that it remains part of their plans despite the well publicised "postponing" of their centralisation plans.
  2. Can confirm its not decrepit. HIAL bought it for £2.3million not so long ago and is in use daily.
  3. Surely the plus for where the stadium is just now is that it’s not that long a walk from the train and bus station. Moving down to the arse end of the Inches would be rotten to get to on a match day.
  4. The club must be getting a decent wedge from the builders using the car park to house all the stuff for that Marriott that’s being built?
  5. What I find galling is that while Haas & Alfa have made use of the wind tunnel & CFD allowances they had to build a somewhat competent car, Williams seem to have developed a car that eclipses 2019, 2020 and 2021. Jost and F-X must be absolutely raging.
  6. I know Latifi brings a fair bit of backing with him to Williams, but surely it’s only a matter of time before he’s punted? 3 DNFs in 3 races down to driver error. Can we all agree that the whole braking before the DRS line is ridiculous? Shows just how powerful it is on these new cars. Feel like there will be a change coming that reduces the size of gap that the DRS flap creates to reduce the effect of the system, because it does look a bit daft at current. Aboves aside that was a thoroughly enjoyable race. Plenty of action up and down the field and always helps when there’s a bit of chaos to mix things up. The new regs look to be a winner for me and I’m sure Pat Symonds, Ross Brawn & Stefano Domenicalli will be delighted with the first two Grand Prix. I think if/when Mercedes get their car development in order and there are six drivers going at it we’ll be in for some tasty races later in the season.
  7. “It must be the fuel” was it not Lazenby that said that? I think the race tomorrow will be absolute carnage especially if the F2 sprint was anything to go by. Couple that with likes of KMag saying his neck is giving out on him etc and it will be a total race of attrition.
  8. Honourable mention to Derek Souttar and the fat w*nk physio for giving it the “get it right up you” gesture to a bunch of kids standing next to the dugout, then asking the stewards to step in when their parents challenged. Great stuff from them.
  9. Have to echo this. Purely a money show with the Saudi’s wanting to be like Monaco. Wonder how much of last nights four hour meeting was about track safety as well.
  10. The same as Clyde stole 4 points from us. These are the differences that win leagues. Never felt so deflated after a game, including losing relegation play offs.
  11. “Wouldn’t have happened in Michael Masi’s day”
  12. Would add Birreria Peroni to that. Lots of locals eating and drinking in it which is a surefire mark of quality/not being ripped off because of tourism. Also they do carafe's of any Peroni variant you could desire.
  13. Hyped for the one. Touch and go whether I’ll make it or not but intend on being there and paying my £10 whether do get to the game or not. Goes without saying that quite simply no less than 3 points will do. Sadly the recent trend of big Airdrie games (big crowds, playoffs or tv coverage) doesn’t fill me with confidence… surely this time will be different.
  14. Brundle & Ted are the best of the Sky team. The rest of them are Lewis cheerleaders save for Di Resta who I think actually took well to the co-comms role when Martin is off racing. Actually thought Naomi slotted well into the Sky team and showed her knowledge while showing up Damon for what he truly is. Could see Damon just trying to poke Christian and Toto trying to create a bit of false narrative.
  15. Big, heavy understeery cars on a tight street track with not very much run off. Next week could be fun.
  16. Alex Jacques (F2 commentator) is by and large a better race commentator than Crofty. All through last season he was making errors and calling the wrong drivers.
  17. Thought last week's defending at Falkirk was schoolboy... QP appear to have topped it. Great finishes from Easton & Smith. In years gone by I don't think we'd have had midfield/forward players that have the composure in front of goal as our front 4/5 do at the minute.
  18. Biggest turn up for the books today was Albon not qualifying P19 in a car thats destined for the back of the grid. Hopefully we see the back of Latifi before long.
  19. 1000 miles of Sebring ends under red flag with none other than Paul di Resta leading the LMP2 class for Zak Brown’s United Autosports. Red flag thrown because of risk of lightning under local Florida laws.
