Piggs on Canongate (few doors further down from the Worlds End pub) is our go to in Edinburgh. Actually became quite good friends with the owner and his father. Food is fantastic, a nice mix of tapas style dishes and meat and cheese platters or they can do something more substantial if you wish. They have a huge wine selection but the best bit is Estrella Galicia on draught. Well known to be the best non-Tennents beer ever. Fazenda on George St is fantastic too which I’ve seen mentioned above. I’d also add Tempo Perso which is a bit further out on Bruntsfield Place.

This has happened/been happening on deep sea trade for donkeys years. Just got to keep watching those turns and the assist from Easton. So, so good.

Easton is incredible, a real coup that we managed to pick him up last summer. Thought we bossed the game really. Max made one or two great saves but otherwise wasn’t troubled. Easton and Frizzell just keep going and going while Agnew sat and let the game play in front of him. McCabe is a great asset, he talks and talks and talks and keeps the others in check I think. Special mention to Calum Fordyce on his 100th appearance, the best defender I’ve seen in a Diamond since 2000. It would be a real statement of intent if we could sign up Fordyce, McCabe, Easton & Frizzell for next season. Think they could be a force even in the league above if we make it, if not they’re a great spine if we have to go again next season.

I’m sure AMB previously stated that the club would have to pay more to the parent club of a loan player if they don’t start every game. Hence I’m sure that Afolabi will start. I think him and Gal are a bit similar so I’d prefer Smith to be up top.

I’ve never been, save for a whistle stop bus through on the way to the airport, but the mrs raves about it. She’s talking about doing loads of walking but personally I’d be up for eating copious amounts of food and pouring Italian lager down my thrapple.

Also been reported that Russian soldiers have been flat up just abandoning their kit because of lack of fuel and mechanical failures while on the road. At least the Ukrainian tax office don't need to know about it if you take a Russian tank into your posession.
