  1. The developer, from testifying that they came from small, independent roots seem to have taken the same track as every other dev and released games full of bugs and UI horrors. That said, try and ask a question about it and the head honcho denigrates and blocks you on social media, and the Mods on their boards are less than helpful. After guiding Airdrie to the League Cup in Season 1 I've totally gone off the cliff with FM this year. Haven't played it since the start of December and don't really have an appetite to pick it back up again.
  2. The obvious remedy for McInroy going back to his club is for McCabe to step forward, and slot Josh Kerr in as the centre half. Got a bit of a worry that Falkirk are on the comeback trail. I mean how long can their banter years keep going on? Score draw.
  3. Really enjoyable first half. Good, well taken goals. Will be a shame to lose McInroy even though he was effectively marked out the game today. Just goes to show that you might take one of our midfield four out the game but the other three will take you to the cleaners.
  4. Ayr seem to be close to appointing Lee Bullen, U23 coach at Sheff Wed. Hopefully can put the Murray chat to bed.
  5. Williams' agreement with Precision Hydration ended today, freeing up space for a new 'Energy Drinks' partner. Rich Energy anyone? Only 51 days to go until Barcelona testing. Ferrari (lauded to be the front runner in new development) unveil their cars between 16th & 18th Feb. I can't wait.
  6. Not to crawl too far up yer ring, Jan, but I did fire a comment into the Falkirk thread telling them to take a look and see how to do it properly.
  7. Any ITK's confirm whether we're still running this hybrid setup? A lot of interviews refer to "coming in on Tuesday and Thursday" which suggests its just back to part time which makes a lot more sense for us, surely.
  8. Desperately require clarity on the Quitongo situation. I'd have thought he would've made a real impact on the game given the space down the left. If he's going, move him on. Can't imagine either party would be happy with him sitting on bench collecting a wage for nothing.
  9. To be fair with our left back's inability to drive forward on his left foot I wouldn't have been fussed with that area either.
  10. Thinking this exactly. At least give Quitongo 25 mins to show he's better than whats there already.
  11. Not that it matters, but just dropping it in here that the Dumbarton stream cost only £10 today, and the standard of commentary is the best in the league.
  12. Ramsbottom getting crowded out by his own team results in foul and no goal. Then again with Steven Kirkland as ref, the incompetence certainly doesn't come as a surprise. Can definitely feel that Airdrie are missing the creativity and dynamism of Frizzell in midfield. The most frustrating thing by a mile is watching Scott Walker at left back. Feel for him as he's paying for his own versatility, but seeing him cutting inside in his own third because of his lack of a left foot is giving us nothing and is the evident weak point in this XI.
  13. Certainly in the East its probably got something to do with Underbelly wanting to charge residents £5 per cubic inch of air they breathe over the festive period. Can't comment on rest of the country, mind.
  14. Don't moan or the guy that operates the camera will be posting about how much better quality, zoom & value for money it is.
  15. Glad I’m not the only one. Picked the game up for £23 in the PSN sale but seem to spend more time facing the wrong way or losing my front wing. Last race for example I was 5 secs clear of Ham & Bot then lose it at Portimao and end up third. Also don’t think I’ve got round Catalunya in one piece yet. All that said I am enjoying the game. Always gets us laughing if a group of us play unranked social play. I just need to get rid of any notion that I’m Jarno Olmert all of a sudden.
  16. Paton, Quitongo and his brother all have the same agent. Given the statements and tweets that have gone about I’d be surprised if another player from that agency is offered to the club.
  17. Quite a good read and a damning indictment of Englands situation, with input from Paul Farbrace bemoaning the coaching setup within the ECB. England are in a horrible muddle and it will certainly take years to reverse the decline. https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/120396/englands-test-batting-at-rock-bottom-with-deep-rooted-issues
  18. Meant to add that in 2024-25, Queen’s Park are in the Premiership. They’re playing at Pollok’s Newlandsfield ground and were relegated at the end of the season with 3 points (3 draws).
  19. Fourth season syndrome at Airdrie. Turns out I’ve built a really poor team and we’ve hit a total brick wall in form and consistency. Can go two or three games grinding one goal wins then go to St Johnstone and are blown away 3-0 despite having an xG of 0.4. Also in most games we seem to hit the woodwork two or three times and the opposition score their only shot on target. So just the usual FM match engine foibles. Fighting away in mid table and it’s a battle of attrition for the Europa League places.
  20. The price is one thing. I pay to watch online because I’m exiled and can’t make it to games, but I thought the quality was mince too. Shaky camcorder with the corners blocked by scaffolding, I was getting dizzy after the first few minutes. I don’t for a minute think that Airdrie’s solution is the finished article either, but at least it’s a fixed, stable camera that spans the whole pitch. Admittedly it’s a bit grainy when it zooms in but it’s more than adequate.
  21. This is, by a distance, the worst PPV live stream I’ve seen yet.
  22. This must be the first time I’ve completed 2 seasons so quickly in a save. Now into the Premiership after cantering to the Championship title. Semi final of Scottish Cup, won the Challenge Cup but didn’t get out of the groups in the League Cup. My 4-5-1 still has my twin Mezzalas as top goal scorers and assisters. Had to be very experimental with recruitment. Fair to say that Ade Azeez didn’t work, so ended up with a mish mash of players released from good youth teams and loans - Edwin Andersson from Chelsea being one named in the top 50 wonderkids. Have a look at Sam McClelland who was released after season one at Chelsea in my save. The guy is colossal. Buckling down for the assault on the Prem now. Haven’t signed anyone of note but continuing to wheel and deal. Moved a young centre mid on to Hearts for £140k which helps the coffers, and the vultures are circling for McClelland due to his £400k release clause. Money in the door is money in the door but would prefer to keep him.
  23. Dumbarton fans attempting to take the moral high ground after 3 of their players and their manager were sent off. Safe to say… rattled.
