  1. Good game that and neither team could have had any issue with a draw. Some hit to win it though! There's nothing you can do about a hit like that
  2. I'm guessing this is for the KM7 stand and not the main?
  3. While Accies definitely need to win, I think ultimately they will be content with a point. They'll know that if they open up we have the pace to get at them. We don't have a good record in cups? IIRC we reached the Scottish cup semi final last season! If you mean we don't have a good record in matches where there's a big crowd up for it then we would all agree with that. Colin Steven is the referee tomorrow, he always looks like an angry wee man and loves a red card. I expect at least 1 red card tomorrow but its 50/50 which way
  4. Sat in the North Stand a few times but the most recent was the Paul Hartley 17/18 season against Dumbarton as part of the Foundation free ticket initiative. We hit both posts and bar and I'm sure it finished 0-0. Andrew Nelson hit the bar from just inside the opposition half. On another note, I've watched the newest episode of Open Goal with Lee Miller as a guest. He's non committal about Gary Holt but I don't think he has any time for him and seems to be happy not to be involved in football.
  5. Isn't the upper part of Section H the press part anyway? Hamilton will be in the North stand
  6. Feeling nervous about this game. Been a Falkirk supporter for too long to know not to get carried away. I'm a pessimist and I've been thinking that one league defeat will see some nerves kicking in and more defeats will follow. Just hope that the first league defeat doesn't come on Saturday so C'mon Falkirk, get them pumped!
  7. Similarly, if your BoD dont pull the trigger this week, do you think a defeat on Saturday would be enough to force them into action? Or would the fact you'll still be second and guaranteed playoffs be seen as him still meeting targets therefore they can't do anything?
  8. Had the same in Q2 when we were on our unbeaten run. Let's deal with Saturday then Tuesday before we worry about Q4
  9. Accies now 8 points behind having played a game more. Next week is a must not lose for us as opposed to a must win for them. They have to come at us next week. I want to say that the league is done if we win next week but trying to take it game by game.
  10. By the end of this season, Sean Mackie will have been at Falkirk for two full seasons. He looked good at centre back at the start of last season but then became pretty rash. He has had injuries that have kept him out for periods of time but if he hasn't nailed down a place in L1 after two seasons then I'd imagine he'll be released at the end of the season.
  11. Shocking defending but what's more obvious is the empty seats in the NM stand. That was packed in the games against us last season and probably most of last season when they were doing well. Just shows that once the bounce wears off and people start finding other things to do on a Saturday its hard to tempt them back and highlights how loyal our fan base is
  12. What season is that from? I'm guessing 87/88 as I'm sure that's roughly when I started going to games and the first kit Santa brought me
  13. They also have the guy Jordan Marshall who played for Dundee in the Premiership, he won't be cheap either
  14. We didn't deserve anything from tonight. Two shots on target all game? Our passing and overall sharpness seemed off from the start. TNS weren't up to much but they were strong, physical, pacy and streetwise. A lot of which we weren't. Such a disappointing goal to lose but that's going to happen when you want to pass the ball around at the back and into midfield. I'm not angry at Lang for trying to play football, I'm more angry that he seemed to be blaming Hogarth for the goal. If somebody offered me a win tonight and defeat on the 17th v Hamilton or defeat tonight and win v Hamilton then I'd take the win over Hamilton all day.
  15. They may not be ready to be regulars but I trust McGlynn’s judgement. The year they are all spending on loan will do them the world of good
  16. Yep https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/football/24060801.amp
  17. What a petulant wee fanny! Gets booked for booting a ball away then goes and does it again! You'd think he wanted a red card
  18. I wasnt there yesterday and watched both clubs highlights packages last night. I'm not getting involved in the whose is better than whose debate (its not much of a debate, really). What Alloa's showed better I thought - and I've only watched it once - was there a foul throw by McCann at the start of the move for the second goal? Looked as if a foot came up as he threw the ball which from my own refereeing days was a foul throw. We might have got away with one there. I also thought from both highlights package that it did look a dive by Miller but at the same time he may have stood on the ball. Very clear on both highlights that the ref wasn't giving a free kick until the assistant flagged before Hendo's goal
  19. They are pretty true to size, buy whatever size you usually wear in a top
  20. Was that all? Looked more from where I was stood. Really enjoyed that game today as a neutral. Rose were the better team in the first half and deservedly went in 2-1 up at half time. I thought numbers 17 and 7 were the scorers but I think the guy on the PA announced both goals scored by the same player? Celtic were the better team in the second half but you would expect that to be the case with the full time fitness. Draw was a fair result I thought
  21. You forgot to add "in tiny spaces". Really annoys me when you have an appointment there and have to arrive about an hour beforehand just to give time to park
  22. Clowns to the left, jokers to the right? Good to see the captain signing a new contract, hopefully sets an example that others will follow.
  23. Defenders aren't blameless in any of the goals either. Are we dropping the back 4 as well? Are we dropping MacIver for not scoring in 4 games?
  24. I'm sure it's in SFA/SPFL rules. Jay Hogarth was unable to play for Dumbarton v Rangers at the weekend as he's on loan at Dumbarton from Rangers despite Rangers being happy for him to play
