  1. I wasn't there but in the highlights you can hear the whistle and the refs left arm pointing somewhere vaguely between the penalty spot and six yard line. I get why there's confusion
  2. Same ref that booked McIver v Kelty for a dive.
  3. I'm thinking it's a back four of Donaldson at Right back, Lang and Hendo at centre half, Mackie at left back McGinn and Spencer as the sitters Agyeman, Oliver and Ross behind Allan I could be way off of course but the number of changes scares me a bit
  4. "You can all have a singsong on the way home" followed by a blast of Daydream Believer was brilliant. A wee play of Gypsies Tramps and Thieves straight after that would have been the icing on the cake
  5. A colleague is having microwave heated fish for lunch. Place is stinking!! It really should be illegal for people to eat fish in a workplace
  6. Agreed. I was at the game last night with my son (8) and my partners dad (71). My son doesn't know any different but my partners dad even commented how good the atmosphere is with the young team and how well we're playing. For me it was walking downstairs in the KM7 stand a few minutes before the end and seeing my 75 year old uncle and his friend clapping along to "if you hate Paul Hartley clap your hands" that showed that even the older generation of fan are loving going to games again and genuinely do hate Hartley
  7. He won the ball back on the left touchline in the lead up to the 3rd goal. Was really impressed with him on Saturday and again last night. Would have no objections to him starting v Edinburgh. I also think we might see Mackie or McGinn start in place of Donaldson with Henderson dropping back if McGinn starts
  8. Does anybody know who had left the lights on, engine running and doors open in their car before the match? I can only assume it was Hartley's for a sharp exit?
  9. I remember my mum, grandmother and aunts all saying when I was younger that there should be no housework done at all on the 1st January and all washing on airers etc should be put away so the house doesn't look untidy. I was too young to understand that back then which is just as well because I still don't understand.
  10. I get where you're coming from but I think McGlynn views Long as the no 1. I don't think you bring a keeper up on loan from a L2 side in England to sit on the bench. Long started the season in goal then Hogarth took over when Long got injured. Now Long is back in despite Hogarth keeping two clean sheets back to back
  11. On the subject of Ola, I was in the restaurant in the stadium yesterday for lunch and my son wanted to sit at the window to watch the players training (I knew yesterday that Long was in goal today as he was the keeper in the starting 11 team). There was absolutely no sign of Ola at all on the pitch or at the side. Anybody know anything? Also, who was the keeper coach today? Definitely wasn't the usual guy
  12. Doesn't Walsh teach PE at a school used by Rangers for their academy kids? Just putting that out there as ultimately it was Nick Walsh refereeing a game involving a club used by his employer.
  13. At the end of the same game he also gave a penalty to Rangers (shock horror) for a handball against Blair Alston that even Mark Warburton said wasn't. It was almost as if he needed to "even things up" but thankfully Danny Rogers saved it. I was at the first SPL game he refereed (2006?), Falkirk v Dunfermline at the Falkirk Stadium where I thought he had a great game. He's now past his best and needs put out to retirement
  14. No chance we get good money for a player who is out of contract in 6 months
  15. Thank you to the players and management for a great hour and a half this afternoon at the Junior Bairns Training Day. The kids all seemed to have a great time meeting their heroes who were all brilliant with the kids. We really do have a fantastic club right now. On the downside however was the state of the KM7 stand with food waste, empty wrappers and cups from saturday's match. I get it's not your house but is it too much to have some pride in the stadium and put your rubbish in a bin?
  16. I wanted MvG or Littler to win right up until Littler done that whole "will I go for it" to the crowd after firing two treble 20's when going for the 170. Now that MvG is out I'm getting behind Chizzy or Cross
  17. See how far infield Yeats was in the build up to the 5th goal, any further and he'd have been on the community pitch!
  18. Looking at the sky its not going off any time soon albeit its supposed to turn to rain later
  19. Bunting failed to turn up in a big game. Again. MvG played well without getting out second gear.
  20. Based on Tuesday only, he'd get a L2 side at best. Whether it was lack of match fitness or injuries catching up with him but I thought he looked done. No idea how he lasted the 90 minutes both from a fitness point of view and I thought he was lucky not to pick up a second yellow
  21. Some finish but one ball over the top has to be defended better than that by Bushiri!
