Tory Lies, Corruption and Hypocrisy- Add Them Here

A classic by the thickest politician in the world, if she wasn't so thick I would suggest she was at the wind up. -

Don't McGrath and Allan have the same agent these days? If it is to drag on like the summer then it should be at least relatively straightforward if dealing with one agent instead of throwing in outsiders like Drey Wright. -
Double Winning St Johnstone FC Thread

Things are all going very Falkirk-y, getting precious thinking everyone is out to get St Johnstone. If St Johnstone avoid relegation, as I suspect will happen, everyone will simply move on to laughing at Dundee. -
Anyone thinning and unwilling to accept ie McGowan, Griffiths. Had this been last week Martin Boyle would’ve been up there, his post transplant barnet is an abomination. Robbie Neilson’s is also very suspect, no one should be fooled by a man with shoulder length hair - it is always a cover up. Edit: Richard Tait also sports a head of hair that should be shaved at the first opportunity.

Wonderful to see. -
Tremendous racing over the weekend - Lingfield especially. Fontaine Collonges, Hudson de Grugy & Zhiguli. E/W Patent today. Not overly keen on foreign cards, however I am tempted by Bedouin's Story at Meydan - won last year at Meydan & had impressive couple of showings at Newmarket. I missed 6/1 so will wait to see what the price is like closer to the start.

I sympathise with McGrath a bit as there is many a day when I can't be arsed going to work. Although, I'm not reliant on doing my day job in hope of representing my country. I read Goodwin's comments from yesterday, I think he was very fair and honest about the situation. McGrath while he doesn't owe us anything as fans, he owes a lot to Goodwin for the upturn in fortunes he has had since joining. I think it is best for all parties that he moves on this month but if it weren't to materialise I'm sure he wouldn't be downing tools for the rest of the season. Talented player who has been ill-advised in recent times, he handled the speculation in the summer and was able to play through it. I think he is being advised now to force the hand of Saints, which never really ends well for anyone. -
Has been tremendous entertainment over the past couple days with that & the Scott Brown inciting a riot tweet.

I don't think it is quite fair to say it wasn't working - we did have an unbeaten run of 6 games earlier in the season using Goodwin's preferred formation. In that 11 game run there were really only a few of really poor performances - Dundee at home, Livingston at home and Rangers away. I'd argue our best performance of the season was in that run with the 2-2 draw at Motherwell. -

I doubt Erhahon will stay past his current deal ending in 2023, he will be the next to go on to get a move. Hopefully earn us some money in the process as he is a very talented young player. I wasn't steadfast in my defence of Goodwin's preference for 3-5-2 however I did think it has it's benefits. It was good to see Goodwin's flexibility in changing the system last night. Sadly much less likely to have marauding runs by Shaughnessy in this formation. Players being accustomed to a couple of useable formations can only be a good thing. I think we have good players in key positions like Shaughnessy, McCarthy, Erhahon, Power and Brophy. The issue is if they are injured/suspended their replacements aren't good enough. I hope McCarthy is back as soon as possible - any sign of a setback in his injury recovery and I would be punting one of the 3 strikers and getting a new centre half in. Dunne can not be relied on. I don't know if he gets bored during games or just lacks concentration in general. Last night while the ball is bobbling about the 6 yard box he is sauntering back on the edge of the penalty box - hopeless decision making. -
Yeah it was a hopeless call, I thought it finished quite strongly as well looked to have pulled back into the pack but the start was dreadful. Sadler’s Bay looked impressive in its first run earlier in the day.

Dundee Utd v St Mirren 18/02/22

Great win & much needed. Kiltie was great tonight, everything went through him. Probably should’ve had a penalty against us but then again Kiltie’s goal looked a strange call. Dunne’s positioning for the Dundee Utd goal -
Based on the first 2 picks at Exeter - not a hope in hell, however we live in hope.

I fancy Hunstman Jog & Eureka Creek in the first 2 at Exeter today. I have also gone for a very speculative punt e/w on Exmoor Forest in the last at 50/1.

I'd empty all of them this month however that is not viable - I don't imagine any of them will get a better deal elsewhere due to their lack of game time and/or form. Majority of them aren't getting a look in so unless Goodwin has some sort of epiphany to try something new with them they will likely sit on the bench rest of the season. If Goodwin can offload any two of those mentioned I'm sure that would free up a sizeable amount to play with. -

I have been doing the Tour de Zwift - completed all the routes on stage 1 and only the short one on stage 2. I have attempted the shorter Alpe du Zwift map twice, its name escapes me, in the ordinary Zwift environment and turned back twice half-way up (in order to get the distance up, and quickly at that). The equivalent of this years stage 3 was my least favourite last time, mainly due to being lapped countless times. Although they seem to at least be using flatter maps. Edit: I seem to be noticing a hell of a lot more Scots on the routes these days, all the encouragement needed along the way. More effective than ride ons IMO -

I thought I was trippin when I heard it. Suspicion of offside after he took the ball off an Arsenal player in his own half and then cut it back?
