  1. The kilt wearing dog walker in the west end is a hero. I doubt there is anyone that goes to Glasgow Uni who doesn't know who he is.
  2. I agree. I only use the GUU for snooker. The GUU seems bigger but there is a lot more to the QMU, probably because the second floor in the GUU is nothing. The 5 piece breakfast from the QMU is quality hangover scran though. What is the whole thing about the Qudos stage not getting used? I took some flyers things about next president, or some shit like that, of the QMU and every candidate seemed to mention the stage being brought back in for use. I didn't vote because I'm lazy but if I were to the guy who was hoping to introduce an off licence in there would have got my vote. I'm easily swayed. My exam timetable is a lot better than December start on the 24th April finish on the 17th May. Got loads of time between some exams. 4 in the first 2 weeks and then 2 in the last 2 weeks. After that Maths is getting punted.
  3. I never tried to draw any comparison between the 2 players, you were the first to mention McGowan. I was pointing out that while you were laughing at St Mirren and St Johnstone fans for tipping average players for Scotland call-ups you were also guilty of it. You then came up with the terrible excuse of McGowan hasn't been sold for any money etc. I'm not tipping McGowan to be a Scotland regular or anything I think it would be a just reward for his continued great form this season. If McGowan were to be called up it wouldn't be a shock to most people on the SPL forum. I'd imagine McGowan will move for a decent fee in the summer providing he continues playing as well as he has been, possibly even greater than the £300k Falkirk got up front for Wallace. A better comparison which I will make would be Kenny McLean who if he moves in the summer will get a bigger fee than £300k. McGowan and McLean are competing against a higher standard of player every week than Wallace is unless we are playing Dunfermline. Incidentally, has Wallace been involved at Scotland U19 or U21 at all? Given how good he must be, he will be starring in every game for either of those sides I imagine.
  4. I didn't realise the criteria for getting into the Scotland squad was that the player had to move for some sort of fee. I always thought a player playing consistently well would be a good shout for the squad. In that case, it's a complete disgrace that Stewart Kean has never been in the Scotland squad, yet. Given that he is currently playing in the second division that may be a better comparison.
  5. Not forgetting, the Falkirk fans who have said one of their young defenders will be a Scotland regular for years to come. ETA: It was you.
  6. You seem to have forgotten that some of us have Scottish Cup matches to play. Of course you don't have to worry about that.
  7. Brighton Was going swimmingly well come 70 mins with Brighton, Motherwell and Middlesbrough all winning then some p***k let Diouf score.
  8. I live 5 minutes away from there. He took the turn off I use. Wrong side of the road just to avoid going across the bridge. Could have been a lot worse if he continued up to the roundabout at the top of the road.
  9. I wore my St Mirren hat to uni during the winter. I saw a guy with a red Saints track suit top on last week. First fellow Saints fans that I've seen at uni.
  10. A lot of them were hopeless. One of the funniest I saw was about Napier can't remember what it said. There was also one about a Maths lecturer at Glasgow that was brilliant.
  11. Looking forward to the open top bus parade through Greenock come the end of the season.
  12. Preston or more specifically Craig Morgan ruined my £10 treble of Preston, Birmingham and Stoke.
  13. Second win in a week £5 on Hull, Sheff Utd and Killie. Not sure how much it returns probably around £20.
  14. If people haven't bought it already. Then the Rangers Christmas album is a must have. It features the likes of The Christmas Bouncy Song and Silent Night, Rangers Night. It's available on iTunes for only £7.99.
