  1. Made my choices for second year today. Easiest decision of my life choosing Maths and Stats. In second year there are only 40 credits of Stats so I have to do double the amount in Maths which doesn't seem too bad. As I made a complete disaster of choice in doing Computing Science in 1st year it looks as if I'll be having to do 20 extra credits in second year but I'll be doing them in the course I originally wanted to do and, tbh, it looks like it's one of the easiest courses that they teach but it's simply there to make up the credits and allow me to get to Honours. Doing that in the 1st Semester doesn't seem to bad. Looking forward to second year now as I will studying subjects that want to study and I will have learned from the mistakes I made in 1st year.
  2. Not sure of the time it takes but I have 512mb on my contract and i go on the internet daily for quite a lengthy time and i never get near the limit. The most I have had is around 200mb in a month. Although, if you were to watch youtube videos or download something like apps then the will use more. If you were using it for just accessing websites then there is no chance of going over but watching video/downloading is a different case.
  3. That's a bit excessive. You only need 2, questions are guaranteed to come up for it and if not then you manipulate the question. I went in with The Great Gatsby and Hamlet and that was fine. I got a B for Higher English after I got a C at Int 2. I have a Maths exam tomorrow afternoon and then my final exam of this semester on Monday, and that's me finished until August.
  4. £5 on Man City v Tottenham ICT V Hibs returned £20.50
  5. Only in a mix though! Unless it's from Bamboo where it is absolutely awful no matter what you mix it with. I only ever vodka in a club mainly because it's £1 a drink. ETA: Budweiser is quality.
  6. I will drink any of them. Although my preference would be Tennent's. Guinness is good as well. Hate cider can't drink it at all.
  7. A pint, or five, of Tennent's is always great. Although the head on the pint can be particularly bad sometimes. I don't drink anything else at the pub unless I want to get pished quickly. A can of Tennent's is awful though.
  8. £40 on Hamilton to finish bottom at 13/8 returns £105.
  9. Just watched RAW and I had a good laugh at Riley's face when he was in the STF. The fake tan didn't really work this week. Am I the only one who is had enough of the Lawler Cole feud? Although it looks like it's coming to end at Over The Limits.
  10. Ditto. Does that mean you are doing 2 year highers, if you do standard grade/intermediates in 3rd year?
  11. Some communications thing for the Miz. In fact from wiki:
  12. There's a bit on the university website where other students have advertised that they are looking for flatmates. I think it would be better to stay in halls certainly in 1st year anyway. As has been said already the people who stay in halls tend to make more friends. Here A lot more expensive than halls.
  13. Thought RAW was really good last night. I loved Kane, Koslov and the Big Show doing what Santino does. Their match at Wrestlemania against The Corre, is it a normal, elimination or tornado tag team match?
  14. Make sure it's accurate because no doubt the lecturers will be using in the future for us. Got my exam timetable today: CS1P Lab exam - 19th April CS1P exam - 26th April Stats - 10th May Maths - 13th May CS1Q - 16th May Wish CS1Q was in the gap between CS1P and Stats to get that subject over and done with but not bad. Still not had a Saturday exam allowing me to attend the more important events that occur on Saturdays.
  15. They were brilliant. Especially The Miz. I loved Cole in the plastic cage and coming out of it pointing to it as if it was some sort of masterpiece. What The Miz did was probably one of the best moments that has happened on RAW recently, I thought it had been getting quite boring but it really picked back up again this week.
  16. Cheers and am I right in saying that the total stake will then be £4?
  17. I've yet to place a bet on the horses but I am wanting to place one on the Friday 14.40 Albert Barlett Novices Hurdle. I have the horse and the odds, 20/1 I think, but I have no idea how to place the bet. It will probably be at William Hill. Is there a sheet like the football to place the bet or do I have to write it out on the blank sheets? I notice that there is usually a list of the races up on the wall. If I do have to write it out it will be a £2 each way bet. Do I just write out the time, race name, horse name, odds, each way and stake? or is there some fancy thing to do?
  18. I was on the bus this morning and on the top tier there was a grand total of 5 people on. Then on comes this foreign middled age man, given the choice of around 20 or so double seats he chose to sit right in front of me. It is normally standard to leave a seat between you and the next person unless all second seats are taken. It is an unwritten rule. This guy was absolutely boggin and he ended up getting off at the same stop as me. Then his mate got on and proceeded to rattle the seat which in turn rattled my knees. So if you read this, you know who you are, then kindly leave a seat between me the next time.
  19. Had a fourfold of Crewe, Ayr, Livingston and Dundee Utd. £5 returned £35.64 but the Crewe game was off so I'm not sure how much it's worth now.
