  1. Those of you who acquired the draft kegs what's your opinion on it.
  2. Those of us exiled across the border B&M is stocking it.
  3. Local independent store or part of a chain?
  4. Right it's been about 48 hours now and I'm feeling human again. The side effects were like a mini bout of covid again for myself headache, tired feeling absolutly fucked, hot cold sweating shivering. There was a load of us got the jag and I would say out of about 30 people over half suffered side effects to varying degrees. There were also other effects such as the howling shits which led to lot of this . Pins and needles in the injected arm, nausea and sickness and weak limbs jelly legs etc. We all had the astra zeneca likely from the same batch if that makes any difference. I don't know about any wide ranging side effects from Pfizer so can't comment on that. Would it stop me recommending it to anyone else. No this is part of how it works I just hope the booster is a lot easier when I go back in June.
  5. I had astra zenica yesterday woke this morning fucked, went back to bed woke up okay ish just shattered. Fell asleep this afternoon for a couple of hours woke up fucked again. Hot then cold, aches, shivers and a cloudy head.
  6. My jag has fucked me up. Went to bed early woke up freezing, then sweating my baws off. Then eventually had to get up with a banging headache and I'm all aches and pains. I feel like I've got covid again.
  7. Interesting because my colleague who was vaccinated the same time as me has described himself as having an arse like a Japanese flag.
  8. Got mine today astra zenica. My arm wasa bit tingly but so far so good. Essentially the doctors surgery had left overs from no shows so they got in touch with my work so a load of us went.
  9. They need to bring back the 1901 or better still the decent stuff we grew up with.
  10. I think premier stores have some there was a poster on here got some the other day. Beer hawks website shat the bed on launch day and have now sold out.
  11. Was that one of the glasses that the p&b masses bumped tennents out of by using the same one code.
  12. I've currently got an 8 uear old astra diesel which I got cheap at the time and it doesn't owe me anything. Ideally I would like something new(er) in the next year or so. But it will be a question of which avenue I go down. Leasing/pcp, buy it outright or some other unspecified way. Then depending how long I'll keep it what will it run on? I've had diesels for years but it is dying/getting forced out but electric isn't quite there yet. I do a 40 mile commute for work 4 days a week plus I drive from the south of England to Fife a couple of times a year and the range isn't there yet with electric cars.
  13. The car business is in the midst of seismic change at the moment. There is still the used market of haggling for a deal and you take your chances regardless if its a £500 banger ot a 10k family hatch. New cars are almost like white goods now you buy them new on finance then chuck them in after a time for another one. There's leasing now which is similar to the American model and folk just factor in a car payment a bit like rent or sky TV. Then there's the electric revolution which will one day kill off what we have now and render our current fuels as some sort of primative steam driven rubbish from the olden days. In answer to the dilemma a brand new car for 99 quid a month is hard to beat. It will be reliable and if not it will be covered by warranty, it won't need an mot for 3 years and it should only cost you petrol. That said if you just want to buy one and take your chances that's a chap shoot but I agree a vw tdi engine will last for hundreds of thousands of miles. I had a seat with close to 200k on it and it still pulled like a train. That said the rest of the car was hanging apart because components will wear out.
  14. f**k sake Ayr away. Can we just forfeit now and save everyone the eye gouging misery of that.
  15. I never want to see the letters I C or T again. That was fucking murder.
  16. That's quite a jump from most of your interactions were fine to accusing a whole profession of being murdering racists given half a chance.
  17. You'd have thought this was the perfect chance to call him up to the squad and have a look even if he didn't get any match time.
  18. Few things about the police really. 1. They mostly deal with the shite that life throws at people. They meet a lot of people on the worst days of their life's. They've been battered by their husband or the chap at the door in the middle of the night to say sorry your 18 year old has wrapped their car round a tree and killed 3 people. None of that comes with an instruction manual and how it is dealt with by any given Bobby varies. This is not right but it is how it is currently. 2. It seems to me anyway the days of the police just dealing with crime and the odd accident are very much gone. Most police calls are now to mental health issues and domestic arguments over a lot of shit like facebook disputes with their "baby daddy". 3. Police senior management (not your average cops on the streer) by and large are a lot of careerist yes (wo)men who would f**k over their best friend to get ahead. 4. The covid jag situation is about the police wanting to be vaccinated for their own well being. But equally they are in and out of numerous houses on a daily basis and come into contact with a lot of vulnerable people so the cops will be spreading it. So there is an element of protecting the public in this. I appreciate shop workers are in a similar situation but they won't be in a living room within a few feet of someone for a prolonged period of time. 5. They're are some absolute c***s in that profession. Whether they were c***s when they joined or are now just dead inside from seeing years of human misery I don't know.
  19. The fucking thing has crashed during payment and now they're out of stock
