  1. Can anyone tell me how Dumbarton are doing injury wise so I know the likelihood of this game being on or not?
  2. I find it interesting that a lot of these Serbian/ Turkish venues that people associate with huge intimidating atmospheres have running tracks around them
  3. I live right here next to the Olympic park where West Ham play and they did an amazing job renovating that by bringing the behind the goals closer.
  4. Just going by what I saw on Twitter last time. It was at least 50/50 with the Dumbarton fans also not being happy at the late cancellation last time.
  5. One of those things that makes it much more annoying the Dumbarton game was postponed.
  6. Makes me think. Why don’t clubs use the element of surprise more. If we were clearly short of striker options and our opponent planned for that, and we signed a great striker… wouldn’t it be better to not announce it and just have them show up at the match? Or am I being naive and they’d see it on some system, rather than get signing news from Twitter like we do?
  7. Well, if stealing stuff was a sport and you got landed with the street with CCTV and someone else didn't, you'd feel a bit aggrieved.
  8. Mac Allister might have just played his way into a transfer to a major club. Might be worth Gilmour sticking around for his opportunity.
  9. Love the guy in this clip poking his head out the portaloo to see if there was a goal. Classic lower league football.
  10. Good to hear Dale Carrick speak after the win. In his interview he comes across as a potential future manager in a few years.
  11. Interesting. Wonder why we all announce our squads then and give the game away. If I had a key player - and the opposition would want to work on how to stop them - I'd announce that they were injured, not include them on my announced squad and then look at their faces when he swaggers down the tunnel. I'd probably put on some triumphant music for effect.
  12. Maybe it was Stuart Brown that gave the team talks after all.
  13. *ex Jack Leitch fan. Must have given it to the charity shop after his penalty misses. Quite a nice looking t-shirt actually... they've done well!
  14. Kai Fotheringham should turn out to be a great signing. I think Harrison Clark will prove to be an important player too. I always think loan signings are where a managers contacts and reputation really helps... so well done to Darren Young for getting this done.
  15. It makes more sense why a player like Scott Booth (who is used to playing at a much higher level) would overcomplicate things... not sure why an ex lower league player like Stephen Swift would see it as a good idea. 100% agree with this
  16. Offside traps and playing it out from the back. Aside from sounding like a book someone would write about stennies season, it sounds like Stephen swift is trying to get his players to do different things that they aren’t capable of. You never know maybe it will all click into place, but it must be frustrating to see mistakes repeating itself.
  17. The worst thing to come from any of this is twice reading you say the word Facers.
  18. Pleased to hear that Jim McAllister has put himself forward! The more like him the better.
  19. Son of the rock isn't he? No chance of an investment in Dumbarton?
  20. There was a couple of posts a few pages back saying that cooler heads were required, and I couldn't agree more. Some of the people involved in and around the boards have fantastic business and governance experience, but they seem to behave differently when it comes to their plaything, for want of a better word. If a group of people got together with good ideas, good people skills, a willingness to do a solid handover and a penchant for the sensible and unspectacular running of a football club then I'd vote them straight in.
  21. Should have been called Edinburgh Friday If it's good enough for Sheffield Wednesday...
  22. Fair enough. I was blindly going on the fact he'd played for Albion Rover and East Fife under Young, similar to Ross Davidson, and that we need someone in his position. But if he was frozen out under Young, I can't imagine he'd be heading here.
  23. Can imagine him signing for us. Think he would have played under Darren Young at Albion Rovers and East Fife, and that combination normally means they'll sign for us.
  24. Ryan Wallace released by East Fife. Another player who played for the manager at Albion Rovers and East Fife. I can see him signing for us.
  25. Not that it matters at all, but was there even time for a VAR check there, given the 3rd goal seemed marginally offside
