Tom Ritchie has signed for Queens on loan hopefully going to challenge Max Currie to be first choice . Think the deal came about because we have ex Aberdeen coach Gordon Marshall.

Unsure for me but lets see how it goes. Does Irving have the quality we need time will tell not sure he has but WG must see something in him . The goalkeeper Aberdeen will not loan him out to just sit on the bench good to put pressure on Currie he will have to up his game to stay first choice . Is that the squad complete now or are we still to replace Fitzpatrick .

What is the capacity at Meadowbank ?. Are you hoping to increase it for decent away supports in League 1

Played some really good football actually passed the ball from front to back . You would have thought we were the S.P.L. team . We should really have won the game big turning point was the Connelly chance he has to score it but apart from that he as did the rest of team all played well good to see Wilson back . Only negative thing today was we gave away 2 soft goals apart from that we defended really well . Have to mention Paton he was brilliant easily the best player on the park seems to have bulked up in pre season lead the line really well

Hopefully this will continue throughout the season the Palmerston update last weekend was excellent. Hope we start weekly updates with WG on injuries and how things are going not really had that since Finlay Jack left . On the Ayr game great result finishing off with brilliant team goal but we really struggled with the high ball into the box as we did against Annan . Our defenders are all to nice need to be more aggressive Hopefully better news this week on our injured players

Was he not on about wanting just 2 more regardless of Fitzpatrick carry on? Striker and a midfielder probably. WG said he would replace Fitzpatrick if when he officially leaves definitely need another wide player plus another 2 . On the Fitzpatrick saga I hope we don't give in Partick seem to want him for nothing .

Gibson next 2 signing will be crucial as will a replacement for Fitzpatrick . To have 4 players out this early is not good either only Reilly looking like he might be back soon . My worry about the defence is we still don't have that aggressive physical presence the likes of a Broadfoot or Muirhead gives you either player would not have been bullied by Goss . Wullie has to play especially just now with all the injuries not ideal being manager but he is still the best player in the squad.

All tickets had Oakbank Terrace on them I asked about that you can go anywhere in the ground with that ticket . Much easier for everyone having tickets printed ready to use . This is the 1st time Annan have beaten Queens in a competitive match . Hopefully a reality check for Queens we are miles away from a team that can challenge to come back up WG has a huge job . As always I think everyone at Queens wish Annan all the best for the season

Have to hope Reilly East Ruth and Wilson are fit soon. My worry today is our defence and keeper . Every time Annan came forward they looked like they would score we still don't have that commanding player to win the ball and organise things. Wullie Gibson has to play we missed his drive going forward something that McKenna just can't do. Have said we need a big striker look what the difference Goss makes to Annan . We need to replace Fitzpatrick as well . On today's showing we have not got a hope in hell of challenging for the League massive job for WG . What did go well was the new ticket system no problem with that.

It can be done to sign players Queens have signed 9 but all about how good they are we are about to find that out . Time will tell if it is better to wait in the hope quality players become availble.

I get it Palmy needs a tidy up a bit of painting done etc but for me all that really matters is I see Queens win everything else is secondary to that . We could really do with a update from WG on how things are going the fitness of the squad and are we close to signing anyone

Are you signing Fizpatrick surely you have seen enough now to pay us close to what we want and get the deal done. You will not get him for free so why wait .

He is exactly what we need but we could get nowhere near what Falkirk will offer him. That is the type of quality we should be after not the likes of our trialist on Saturday .

Need to get the Fizpartrick saga sorted then WG can replace him . Very difficult to get quality up top.

Fitzpatrick you got 350,000 for him from Norwich after you developed him as a player now we have had him for nearly 2 years developed him more yet we should get nothing that is not going to happen. If you really want him pay us or move on do you not think he is worth paying a fee for.

You would think trialists would play from the start to get a good look at them
