  1. MASSIVE win. Thought we were far too passive for an hour, before a smash and grab ten minutes and a brilliant Mark Ridgers save did the business for us. Cammy Harper or Mark Ridgers POTY for me, so fitting Harper rifled in the winner here and Ridgers made such a crucial save. Thought Daniel Mackay was awful. Poor boy has zero confidence at the moment. Cove are dreadful.
  2. A strong argument for Dodds staying would be the benefit of continuity, although this is somewhat undermined by what is likely to be a large turnover of players. There are no managers out there who I’d want, off the top of my head. Doesn’t mean there isn’t better out there though
  3. Win this to move above Ayr, 3 points and up the road. Hope there will be bovril available at the Balmoral this time round, was affronted the last time when there wasn’t Edit: Typed Balmoor instead of Balmoral, wrong club
  4. I’m happy to have been proven wrong. I’ve still got my reservations about Dodds, but if he gets a new deal he’ll 100% get my backing.
  5. If your Auntie had balls etc, but depressing to think if we’d managed to beat the worst Accies team in years this season we’d be firmly in the title race.
  6. Possibly the best old fashioned winger we’ve had since Jonny Hayes. Boy is absolute quality.
  7. If we win this, I might start actually believing we can somehow make the playoffs. It’s the hope that kills you
  8. Very pleasing. We couldn’t just pull it off, could we?
  9. I hope Brian Graham has a weekend as awful as his first touch. Grade A w****r.
  10. If not for the Scottish cup reprieve, surely Dodds would already have his jotters?
  11. Been thinking about what needs to happen at the end of the season recently, now that the league season is effectively over after yesterday’s defeat. I totally understand how injuries have handicapped our season; we have obviously looked much better getting our best players back on the pitch. However, yesterday was pretty much a full strength XI and we were played off the park. The injuries do not account for the shockingly poor recruitment in the summer. That’s what’s done us. The players Dodds has consistently told us aren’t good enough, are his own signings. This is a big sticking point for me. Recruitment is the most important part of any managers job. The cup run is truly magnificent and has possibly saved us from going part time. If we win the cup, that’s the only thing which is enough to justify offering Dodds a contract for me. Since he took over, his prime objective has been to get us out of the league. We were 45 minutes away last season in a league we really should’ve been much closer to winning, and this season has been a disaster. Lots of key players are out of contract at the end of the season - is it time for a new manager who can start with a clean slate, or is continuity more likely to bring success? I’ve become more likely to accept the latter recently. The players seem to enjoy playing under him which can’t be ignored. I’ve flip flopped from Happy Clapper to Boo Boy throughout this post - in conclusion, I’ve not a fucking clue what Morrison and Gardiner are going to do but I’ll be renewing my season tickets regardless.
  12. Thought we were very fortunate to take a point, unbelievably poor in the first half and rode our luck in the second. Dodds has to go.
  13. Was thinking about heading down to this after nightshift tonight however the ticket price has put me right off.
  14. Punt Dodds, Kellacher as caretaker until the end of season. Assisted by the experience of Robertson as well as Esson and Wilson. Simples.
  15. You’re forgetting about the battery storage. It is going to save us. Honestly.
  16. He has been very poor this season unfortunately. His form reflects that of the whole team, though. SURELY Dodds gets the sack tonight
  17. This one will tell us whether the players are behind Billy Dodds or not. I’m fully expecting another defeat, and SURELY that would mean he gets his jotters.
  18. Austin Samuels reads Pie and Bovril. Hiya Austin http://dlvr.it/Sjh5m8
  19. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Billy Dodds is not the man to lead Caley Thistle out of the championship.
  20. There are similar sized clubs to us like Partick Thistle who haven’t been to Hampden in over 30 years. We’ve been spoiled rotten with our success. When I look back to my time supporting ICTFC in 30 years, I’m not going to remember a few years in the Championship. I will however never forget all the trips to Hampden. League seasons come and go, Cup success is eternal
  21. Sod that. I’d trade another 5 years in the Championship for another cup final.
