  1. Dundee Utd have signed Wotherspoon from St Johnstone and Alex Grieve from St Mirren (end of season loan) I’d have taken both of them for us, although I dare say we can’t afford to pay them whatever Utd are chucking at them.
  2. Main in, Obika (and Shaw) out would work. We’re definitely in a bad place if Curtis Main coming in is an upgrade on what we have!
  3. Just need a right back/RWB now in the January window, on top of the other players we also need! Could swap Obika, Wilkinson and Shaw for Van Veen?
  4. Incredible Spittal is at wingback again! The players we have available to easily form 442! I’d almost have preferred to have lost to Livi and have Kettlewell launched if this is the thinking/approach we are going to have to suffer.
  5. That would probably be preferable to some of the other formation suggestions. Blaney, Butcher and Casey all injured is fairly disastrous to be honest. I mean, I don’t rate any of them but doesn’t help that we’re struggling to field a defence.
  6. That team has zero balance. It genuinely unbelievable that’s what he’s going with. If Kettlewell is trying to get sacked I’d rather he’d just resigned after county away.
  7. Yet another shocking starting 11. So completely utterly done with him. Get him in the bin now!
  8. Surely Allan Campbell would enjoy another stint in ML1 rather than warming the bench at Millwall?
  9. Some finish by Shankland and incredible scenes in the away end. As long as it’s not against your team you cannae grudge that.
  10. Agree with the above, winning the Livi game, and it’s a massive if, proves nothing really unless you then go on an above average run from there on in. He should’ve/could’ve went at any point after the last 6/7 games and with zero complaints. Ross County away being a particularly opportune moment. I suspect the board were hoping upon hope he could turn it round but I’m sure someone posted recently that managers who don’t win for 15 + games don’t turn it around. As I stands we’ve left it far too late. I wouldn’t trust him in the January window after the summer dealings. Do we not have umpteen players out of contract in the summer? Almost certainly none of them will be kept on, or that I’d even want to keep on, especially in the event of relegation, so they won’t be here to deal with the fall out. I honestly don’t know what we do or how we get out of it this season.
  11. Hope it’s off but if not the most routine or routine home wins incoming.
  12. With the run we’re on and the back room upheaval I’d say this was pretty much crisis territory. Lose the next 2 and it’s full blown heads gone stuff.
  13. Surprised Shaw got the nod over Wlkinson. I mean, I’m not sure Wilkinson is the answer, but he has at least scored some goals for us.
  14. What’s the longest we’ve went in the top flight without a win? This certainly feels like we’re now breaking records with each passing game. What’s the longest any team has went without a win in the top flight? How long did Gretna, Dunfermline, Accies, Dundee or any other relegated team of the last 20 years go between wins?
  15. I’m fear that even failing to beat Aberdeen and Livi (and at this point even taking 6 points doesn’t change anything for it to be worth the wait) that we then give him the Hibs and Alloa games PLUS the transfer window before acting sometime in February just like we did we Hammell! ie far too late!
  16. We would all have been fine with that. Season long ban preferably.
  17. Don’t care if it was rangers today. 15 games without a win should see any manager anywhere emptied.
  18. Without coming over all Joey Barton, if it eats into the first team budget significantly, I’d be ditching the women’s team completely.
  19. If we had 6/7 more points this wouldn’t seem like such a big story. My worry is if/when we go down, we’re down for years, it’s very difficult to get out that league even with money. There may be a day in the horizon soon where we’ll yearn for players of the calibre of Craig Clay and Joe Chalmers etc…. I also refuse to accept that a club being relegated ever benefits in anyway or is “reset” as a result.
  20. My initial impression is this isn’t good and the timing is terrible.
  21. The crowd will really turn if we fail to beat Livi, especially if we lose to Aberdeen and Rangers.
