Fair point. The experience element is an interesting one. Is experience a 35 year old or a is it a 25 year old who has playedd 100 games at spfl level. The club I know for a fact has tried to bring in spfl experienced players but lost out either due to money or players not wanting to drop to lowland league that's the reality. We have tried. Will continue to try recruit well. There is experienced players dropped down to lowland but been offered significant sums more to play at other teams. For ex players I think 3 or 4 were offered and turned them down to move on again for either more money or change of scenery. Again we move on. I see comments why didnt we keep them or why didnt we re sign him its maybe that the player didnt want too.... Probably be around 7 or 8 trialists tonight. 2 or 3 loan signings incoming. Get behind the lads. Mon the cowden.

Friday will be the first time all the lads have played together so I wouldnt read too much into it alongside the fact some trialists will play to ascertain if they will be good enough for a contract. The games in premier cup although important are more fitness and gelling the squad and tweaking how the team wishes to play etc. However those games wont really be games you can judge how the season will go based on the fact 2 teams are pretty much full time and all in much higher leagues. The club is gonna need everyone pulling together and there will be bumps and set backs. Its gonna happen. Looking forward to the new season and I think so are a lot of the fans which is great. Look forward to the berwick over 35s team against our u21 team.

I agree hindsight is a gr8 thing at the time I said we wont finish bottom because I believed in the players to keep us off bottom.

Jordan Armstrong is a left back but can play centre back but hes a left back.. alfie robinson can play right back too.

Good lad and positionally very good. He is a boy who will only get better more games he plays. He was a solid 7 out of 10 every week. Quiet on the pitch though. He will do well im confident of it.

With all due respect. And we shouldn't mention players money but he was outwith our budget for this season on what we spend on each player. Tranent may have money available to them to pay kind of money he wanted. Each club has a budget and can probs spend whatever they want on each player as long as the overall budget is in tact. Our budget overall may be larger than tranent who knows. However I think craig intimated he wanted to move on anyway so it's kinda out of our hands ain't it. No point looking back. Hes been great for us 100% top pro as well. But he moved on it happens. Just bcoz some clubs sign players that we think we could get but we dont. It dont work like that. I know we have tried to get a player for example that everyone would have said f**k me how did we get him but it's not happened and it's not down to the money. Let's not look back look forward. Cammy graham again gr8 signing and fits the profile we need. Mango just signed with tranent not surprised. Mango was a true captain and leader and we wish him well. Great lad. Sadly its unlikely we could afford him to stay. There is more signings incoming clearly. Experience perhaps is needed but likely towards more to start of season.

Experienced players are most sought after and tbh most expensive to get. It will take time. You can still have a player at 25 that's experienced though eg played a lot of games at spfl level. For players staying. 2 or 3 we hoped would stay but they decided to move on. There should be more signing announcements in coming days.

Building an identity. You can see where the focus lies. Young hungry and talented. Great start to this huge rebuild. A lot of work going on behind the scenes.
