  1. Covered in many posts but a truly deserving three points. Although I agree with the comments of many of the Millers Morrisons and Lang’s, probably worth mentioning the guys like McCann and Yeats. Maybe not mentioned as often when you have so many up in the headlights. Watched Yeats at yards away today and his gameplay was brilliant. Same with McCann, peach of a pass first half to make another Miller run. Hamilton game is massive, win it and we won’t be far away. Lastly I’ve given Long big, thought his first half performance was so much improved and hope he returns my sun cream after the second 45
  2. FFS can we take the posts about pixels and all the associated shite to another post somewhere.
  3. Changed player since Lang signed. Best CB pairing we’ve had for so bloody long. Well done to the club for sealing the deal. Trick now is to get Tom signed to an extended contract.
  4. Great signing for RR. Could be the difference in getting the auto promotion slot.
  5. The majority of the town’s supporters want this.
  6. Alloa game shaping up to be biggest games in five years. Two hugely disappointing games, facing a local rival that’s hit a decent run of form. Need to get back to winning ways. Just hope he knows that he’s not got the tactics right in previous two games and a bit of a wake up call. All cup finals now, just hope the players have the mentality and balls to get our form back. Didnt read to much into McGlynns interview, but got a dig they he’s playing down if he’s bringing in maybe one more player.
  7. For me the atmosphere and support at the old lady that day was just at a different level. Still remember a guy about 90 falling down the stairs and getting up like a young gazelle, absolutely priceless.
  8. 24 JAN FSS ACHIEVE A 25% SHAREHOLDING IN THE CLUB! The FSS Committee is delighted to announce that after significant collaboration between shareholders, recent share donations have taken us to over a 25% shareholding in Falkirk Football Club. Over the last few months the Committee has been actively encouraging share donation to the FSS with the aim of reaching the initial target of 25%+1 shares. The 25%+1 milestone provides both a practical and symbolic step in the Club’s fan-ownership journey, as this offers the opportunity to block any special resolutions that do not match the values of the fanbase. Bairns will now hold, through the FSS, a safeguard which ensures that the fans backing will be required for the big decisions. Reaching this milestone has only been made possible through share donations from individuals right across the spectrum of shareholders. We would like to extend our thanks again to all shareholders who shared our vision for the FSS to be the home which unites all small shareholders – a goal we will continue to strive towards. In addition, a significant portion of the share donation received over the last few months came from members within the Patrons Group. This was particularly important to the Committee as it showed a strong unity between the fan-ownership groups and is exactly the collaborative approach that will make our fan-ownership journey a continual success at Falkirk Football Club. These share donations show a real trust in the FSS to continue to aid the governance of the Club through our Fans Directors, to provide support as the largest shareholder through our fan-funding efforts, and to be a vehicle which ensures that a fans voice will always be round the table. Finally, we would like to thank all of the 850+ members whose contributions have either directly purchased shares or are, in part, repaying the loan received from the Fans Bank initiative which secured 875,000 shares last May. This huge step in our fan-ownership journey is the result of every single one of you and we remain in the perfect position to kick on as a fan-owned club. The FSS Committee
  9. As covered, great move for the guy. Looked like we’d found someone special early doors, but far too easily shuffled from outplay. With Millers arrival and the form across the centre, he was never getting a start. Tait’s arrival made him fourth / fifth choice. Wishing the guy all the best. Hoping McGlynn can pull another rabbit in terms of a CF or CB
  10. Don’t disagree but unless we’re bringing in some additional quality (which is difficult at this window) we need to ensure that we have numbers to cover for injuries & suspensions. Albeit McGinn looks like his best days are now sadly finished.
  11. Quite sure there will be a deal brokered to get him away at season end. Not one of McGlynns best decisions, strange we paid a fee to get him, beginning to wonder if he was a tactical proposition to stop him going to the competition.
  12. A few midfielders around the first eleven, interesting signing. Dont see him signing to be parked on bench, looking forward to see how he fits, especially since the middle has looked good for a few weeks.
  13. Good hibees fan earlier when it was released
  14. Told he’s had attitude all his days. Nothing wrong with that as long as it’s managed correctly.
  15. Watched the highlights and doesn’t get any easier. I’m sure there’s not one player today, angry that we didn’t do better. The pitch actually looks worse on TV. Tbh this season is so critical maybe not having a cup run will be in our favour. Yes the finances would have improved, but didn’t the BOD confirm even with reaching the latter stages of the cup, the money was nowhere near the expectations.
  16. We’ve all known from season kick off that there’s mistakes in both keepers. Both have good attributes but like we seen from Long yesterday, simple howlers. McGlynn has built a formidable team, just hope that the GK situation as it stands doesn’t come back to haunt us. His dilemma for next week is to either stick with Long who looked broken at the end, or restore Hogarth.
  17. I’m sure the BOD have budgeted our season based on nothing other than our league revenue..
  18. The audiences deservedly having their respective ten seconds of fun. Absolutely shameful performances in Edinburgh two weeks on the bounce. No doubt we’ll get everything from the pitches to the atrocious officiating. Today like last Saturday we faced eleven that worked their socks off. We’ve had a great season so far, but Fck all is won In January. Never thought that we could have so many players off key in a seven day period. McGlynn FFS why no changes to a game everyone could see after sixty or so minutes was going wrong. Best result today - our rivals game was postponed. If there’s any budget whatsoever get an experienced GK in.
  19. I’d be surprised if it’s on. It has defo defrosted but my ground is like a brick underneath, albeit it’s sixty odd miles away.
