  1. With contracts already handed out, McCanns situation like another half dozen, may depend on how shroud/clever McGlynn is already sounding/speaking to other players that he wants to bring in. Should we get top spot, expecting to see a few players released that may surprise a few. For me I like McCann, but as said if we go up it’s another level for the players.
  2. Fantastic to see so many FALKIRK supporters attending Saturday’s game. From the capitulation, abhorrent, soul destroying, embarrassing horror show at Airdrie last year, this game can’t come soon enough. Never thought we’d be anywhere near this level of performance and league standing and all I say to the players, don’t leave anything in the dressing room, and if you give it blood sweat and tears, we’ll be fine. COYB. From a barmy 29c
  3. If we can keep the sales up, think we’re good for anything between 4.6/5. Like many, on holiday but had to change to get home in time. Didn’t realise it was school holidays which will probably have some effect on the attendance.
  4. My recollections were 1800, might be wrong, but 2600 rings a bell.
  5. What was the target number for STs this season? And can anyone confirm what numbers we have?
  6. Had a quick Look over the main stand - a few sections down to singular numbers. Let’s do it and agree get the away stand opened for Falkirk supporters.
  7. Club needs to get next weeks game on every available social site. Falkirk Herald needs to play a part and every single fan who knows someone who’s maybe chucked it after the four ghastly seasons a tap and get them down. Need TFS bouncing next week. Make sure we make the HA fans book on line tickets as they done to us. Give as many tickets as we can to the schools. Just get the stadium filled. Anyone purchasing a ticket from Monday - consider a second ticket purchase at £10 etc
  8. It’s another great “Saturday” night feeling. However let’s keep our feet firmly on the ground. Montrose have found form and suspect that there will be no easy games in the run in. Got a txt from a pars fan who like the majority think their are going down. Against many supporters wishes, who would love to see them down, still think we’d miss the four games and the rivalry, assuming we go up. (And a very healthy cheque x2)
  9. Hamilton have no option but to throw caution to the wind next Saturday. Already buzzing for the game, hope we can break 5K.
  10. It’s been a really enjoyable season so far, and it’s no surprise that the BOD have offered two year deals. Risk ? More positives than negatives ie. Recruiting has been good, but like all managers gets the odd player wrong. Has a good dressing room, and players respect and enjoy working with him. Negatives, doesn’t like to change things until to late ( maybe stubbornness) For me the timing of the announcement is obviously aimed at what is perhaps our biggest game next Saturday. We’ve got 14 cup finals to win, and for me would have waited hopefully till we had confirmed top spot.
  11. Fair point, however capable / incapable……
  12. Incapable? Get a grip, and digest my posts (as you’ve obviously done)
  13. It’s all about opinions, good luck mate
  14. Thats life ? So we just accept another year in the third tier of Scottish football and confirmation that we will revert to a part time or hybrid model.
  15. As said there’s no doubt the revenue streams will be increased, like all supporters, worried that without the guaranteed top spot, where we will be financially?
  16. With respect are we anywhere near the making up the -£400K ?
  17. We can play with the maths till the cows come home, but it’s brutal to criticise fans that not contributing to the FSS. I have many very close Falkirk friends who are die hard fans who each season spend fortunes on STs, new tops, training gear, 50/50 hospitality etc. Why do they not contribute to the FSS ? Their general consensus is that why should they contribute even more cash than they already give to the club, and why don’t we have a BOD capable of attracting investment, wether from the existing people or others prepared to invest.
  18. On a slightly different note, didn’t realise that there’s seven teams all with a good chance of making the play offs. Should be an interesting last quarter+
  19. Don’t think there’s anyone having a cheap shot/pot at McCann. He’s been one of our stalwarts this season. Some of his attacking attributes a pleasure to watch. However his defensive qualities when under pressure not as good.
  20. Can see where you’re coming from. When we’re going forward with pace and with Miller just in front, McCann gets space and has time to either cross or cuts inside, and a pleasure to watch. Saturdays game highlighted that if you nullify Miller and play over, McCann is on the back foot and doesn’t look comfortable. Not knocking the guy but he won’t face the same as Saturday even/should we get the promotion slot.
  21. Agree. Absolutely shambolic and unforgivable attitude towards the supporters with that Lewis shit.
