  1. Don’t like to single out any player but Miller is different class. Not exactly sure how his career has played/panned out, but to pick up this quality in league one looks like the best signing since a certain Mr Latapy.
  2. True. Nesbitt’s performances since getting his slot back has been first class. Do not underestimate Millers influence on how Nesbitt & Henderson overall play has also improved.
  3. I’ve said previously he’s an eight or a ten just off the front centre.
  4. Alfie is probably the first to admit that he’s not exactly graced the park with his limited appearances, however it would be crazy to get rid during this window. We’ve got eighteen cup ties and need everyone who are currently signed up.
  5. A good friend that stays nearby reckons the chances of this being on is slim at best.
  6. Absolutely (that’s if the game goes ahead - weather isnt breaking till Friday/Saurday and would need to thaw out very quickly after five days of minus )
  7. I’m sure that the club count STs when not in attendance, noticeable uplift in attendance in all areas of stadium.
  8. Pretty much covered over the past page, from what I’ve heard there has been an approach for the players. However normally this type of business is kept private thus keeping confidentiality between all parties. How this has ended public, you can speculate, but huge own goal if Accies have deliberately went out to media, as good as saying their current players are second class.
  9. Correct every signing is a risk. I certainly thought Ola would have been a regular, but we don’t see what goes on behind closed doors. He’s also fighting for a starting berth in a midfield that virtually picks itself at present. Of the few chances he was given, didn’t really look that interested.
  10. And like many at the game, left wondering if Morrison is offski.
  11. I think Tams post match interview confirms it was a bad day at the races and lessons learned. Park the bus and let’s look forward to next Saturday
  12. Good post, and spot on for me, only difference of opinion is Alfie, he’s a far better player playing as an old type 10, but there’s a few in front of him. Yesterday would have confirmed/sealed a few players futures.
  13. Pretty much covered across the last few pages, McGlynn completely fcked up. Interview was poor and just hoping he’s learned from yesterday’s Fck up. Worried when the team was announced, the formation was completely wrong. However I don’t blame any of the players given a rare outing, and tbh could have been four up in first 15, what it confirms that we are relying on a first 13/14. For all the shite endured, Millers pen and a point saved might just be the best reminder and kick up the arse we needed. Some of the shite on the press and socials had us promoted already. Since no one has mentioned, Edinburgh albeit with a first team made up with rookies and youngsters - good luck.
  14. What an absolute appalling display by both teams.
  15. Good luck and best wishes to Stenhousemuir, like the Shire hope all the local teams do well ‘
  16. Fortunate to have seen some fantastic teams and players that were simply on a different level. This brought crowds that filled our home. We always had a very loyal away support that outside the top seven/eight clubs easily was the biggest away numbers. I actually remember different work mates from the west/east /central belt commenting on really good away numbers. Bigger than what we are ? Dont think there’s many fans that have that view, and for me it was the often an easy hit for the press. We’re very lucky, we have a brilliant core of fans that have stuck with the club, after witnessing four years of brutal abhorrent shite.
  17. Slightly off subject, but reading a couple of articles on Motherwell and Dundee Utd. Firstly Motherwell who are fan owned, asking (tbh pleading) with supporters to further back the club with more investment. Secondly Utd, who have just posted accounts that for a better word would put other businesses under, after just suffering another huge loss the year before. The figures are startling and if anywhere near true, mind boggles that they are allow to trade. Assuming that arse cheeks apart, how many clubs are serious financial woes……
  18. A lot of speculative talk on here tonight about the season end, and contracts etc. With all respect we’ve half a season of games to go. Let’s not get above our station and although it’s great to be on the current journey, let’s focus on each game as it comes.
  19. Thought we controlled the game with ease, and our GK had very little to do. Great overall performances by all, but would give additional praise to McCann Yeats Nisbett & MacIvor. As soon as Shanely was brought on, Allen went down tunnel, maybe nothing but timing was odd. CR we’re a footprint that we’re gonna face till end of season, 11 men behind the ball with absolutely no appetite to have a go. The changes/players we now have across the full squad are the best in five years. Shudder when I think about all the carnage we’ve endured with so many experimental coaches DOFs & players not fit to be anywhere near our club. If we can Keep the majority of players free from any serious injuries, we won’t be far away. 4400 fans on a Baltic early January midweek fixture,…………absolutely first class
  20. Looking forward to tomorrow’s game. McGlynn will look to players like McGinn to keep the players heads straight and with absolutely no press for best part of five years, suddenly we’ve become back page news. Players just need to concentrate on what they’ve done really well for 19 games.
  21. Watched Bartley throughout the game and at times he looked simply out of touch/depth. Weve had a couple of so called managers, that sadly mirrored your guy. For me he set the team for damage limitation, albeit thought your back four did really well. Spoke with a few QS fans that were in our local, every single one with same thought of getting rid off.
  22. As posted, fairly certain that it’s a contractual condition that Long starts a number of games, if not it’s a bit of a strange reply about the GK situation.
  23. Absolutely, the ultras were brilliant today and I’m sure they’ll be back with huge numbers on Tuesday.
