  1. Thomas Brown stated on his recent podcast appearance that it was back on the table, and would be discussed over the course of next season.
  2. Bit of a shocker this one, didn’t see it coming. They had a good first season, and were a really good team.
  3. Given the information that has come out, we are led to believe that B teams were admitted for 23-24 on the basis that the conference would start 24/25. What if the conference now doesn’t go ahead, would LL clubs be within their right to have another vote on the admittance of B teams for next season??
  4. I suspect that even if Cowdenbeath fans did explain their decision (which they are under no obligation to do) they would be criticised regardless of the answers. The collective need to compile “good guy/bad guy” lists serves no real purpose imo, I mean what are you going to do with the information, boycott games you don’t already go to? Or perhaps you can hate teams you already hate a wee bit more?
  5. I think that’s a bit unfair, they have beaten some quality sides in the LL this season, and have proven really difficult to beat.
  6. More so Rovers, they could potentially be playing for the future of the club as they know it. I think it will be closer than that.
  7. Will be an interesting tussle, Rovers will have a fair bit of pressure on them.
  8. The league champions were on holiday bud, do you really think they gave a toss today??
  9. The same Albion Rovers who lost to Stirling Uni in the Scottish, that Albion Rovers??
  10. Fantastic for the LL. Does anyone know the overall record of LL v HL in the play-off
  11. Not sure about that, their music is quite similar, but good catchy tunes.
  12. I hope all of you luddites are watching the youth cup final, future World Cup winners for Scotland!! This why we must allow these superstars to flourish in a non competitive league
  13. Have you read the conversation to which this post relates?
  14. Here is the the thing, The SFA, as the governing body for this country, have to pass the LL and other league’s rule changes every season, without that permission the league won’t function properly, I’m not sure I can be any clearer than that. Anyway, Gianni Infantino is a regular down at Alliance Park, he was at a game v Dalbeattie this season, he loves the LL apparently.
  15. They have to pass all the league rules, I would say that is a fairly important part in deciding stuff about the league?
  16. So you would allow the 3 B teams into Div 4, where they would be almost all but guaranteed to fill the top spots, and deny one the genuine teams a chance to progress?
  17. I didn’t say It did, I refer you back to the first sentence in your post - “What does the SFA have to do with leagues”, I then refer you to article 18.1. Which is the pertinent point to which I was referring.
  18. Since it’s in the Articles of Association???
  19. The SFA board have the power to do it.
  20. The SFA do have the power to insert this league without it going to an AGM, however it would be very brave of them to try it.
  21. I see this argument posted a lot on here, what benefit do you think teams in the 4th Division of the WoSFL would get out of being horsed from these B teams? It would be soul destroying for teams who are run by volunteers and put a lot of time and effort in.
  22. Great result in the circumstances, not sure how the Brechin keeper stayed on the park to be honest.
  23. Some of the results before he left were really bad, in-fact that’s when the league was lost, not after he left.
