  1. Wouldn’t it be sad if this fell into Ross County hands, and was, I dunno, desecrated in some way.
  2. If the incredibly 1980’s “AFC Rock” that I bought yesterday for £1 comes with a warning that it may have an adverse effect on activity and attention, it begs the question why Goodwin doesn’t load up the starting XI to the eyes with the stuff and send them out to do battle. It certainly did the trick on my 12 year old.
  3. What’s the crack with Besuijen falling to the ground holding his face every time someone went near him? Goodwin needs to nip that shit in the bud. Aberdeen huffed and puffed but we’re pretty toothless, much like County to be honest. Enjoyable scenes at the end celebrating like we’ve won the league.
  4. Ok I'll indulge you... because our manager is a racist? Yawn. We are not the only club who no longer take the knee. I havent seen any directive from the SFA or the SPFL regarding this, so Clubs have been left to their own devices. The gesture seems to have run its course, like the weekly clapping for the NHS; does this mean we think all nurses are lazy know because we dont clap for them once a week? No. Things move on, it doesn't mean that the issues arent relevant. This is the most diverse Ross County squad I've ever witnessed, in terms of players we've never been so inclusive. I'm guessing you weren't present for the minutes applause for Regan Charles-Cook, that brought a lump to my throat. By all means have an opinion on taking the knee, or lack of it, but at least voice it in reasoned debate rather than insinuation and bullshit.
  5. Starting to think that sending Gardyne in as a secret agent to pump their wives and destroy all team unity was a master stroke by evil genius Fergie.
  6. That wasn’t too pretty, backs to the wall for much of the second half, but ultimately saw it out. With Saints playing 3 at the back and Hungbo & Charles-Cook on the wings we were always going to get some joy. You can see the stamp of Goodwin all over this team, Gogic and Power are not pretty on the eye. Good disrupters but didn’t see any insight or class there at all. If Jones got the ball more often to his feet I can see him causing problems. In Grieve you have a smaller and equally as shit Jordan White. Top six, wow. Didn’t expect that.
  7. I gather a stage of the snowman rally will be setting off from Dingwall High St today, the town will be mobbed and parking limited. Best leave a bit of time to get to the ground.
  8. I was surprised to see Watson at right back, thought Malky had made a tactical error there as he can’t cross so the overlapping was pointless, especially as we have Ramsay and Vokins in the bench. I think it was maybe a way of shoehorning the skipper into the XI. Saints kept Cookie and Hungbo quiet in the first half, but give them space and they will hurt you. As the game went on they got more space. The Saints subs did nothing to change the outcome. Some very good individuals, likes of Crawford, but team unity and cohesion is badly missing.
  9. If you go to the Portakabin* opposite reception then the second window facing the stand is for ticket collections. There is seldom a queue (the queue is for folk buying tickets on the day). You shouldn't be too inconvenienced. * other modular building brands are available
  10. Football is a brutal industry, you win 2 in a row, one of which is Hearts, then you get the dunt. Must be someone lined up who will probably be announced tomorrow.
  11. Here's the thing - when trolling someone for being racist, its best to wait until they say something racist. Otherwise you just look like a twat for using racism as a trolling mechanism.
  12. I'm not sure about a metaphor but I found it ironic that Sims had broken down on the way to training.
  13. On my way to work this morning there was a car with its hazards on just off the Dingwall slip lane of the Maryburgh roundabout. The driver was standing in the rain, whilst another man was filling the car with fuel from a green jerry can. The driver was Josh Sims and the man with the jerry can was Stevie Ferguson.
  14. Fair play to any Livi fans who travelled up and down the A9 yesterday, that's commitment to the cause. Watching the Livi goal back - poor turnover from Iacovitti and then failed to track the run of Forrest. I like him, but its like almost every game he has a moment of catastrophe just waiting to happen. Laidlaw a bit flat footed too, I think he could have saved that.
  15. We've had flurries on and off all day, but nothing is lying. Very cold blustery wind though. I'll be wrapping up like Nanuk of the North tonight.
  16. Liked this on the strength of your Pingu pic alone. This game is going to be tighter than a penguins anus in mid-winter. Score draw, with both teams feeling they could have won it at the end.
  17. Agreed. In fact we had a minutes applause last night in solidarity with Regan Charles-Cook who faced racist messages after the Rangers game. Dons fans warmly joined in. But you know, we’re all racists by association.
  18. The Hayes vs Charles-Cook match up was really interesting last night. Even more so that Hungbo and C-C kept swapping sides, I'm not sure why. Possibly because C-C looked leggy and I think Hayes had him for pace, whilst Hungbo could match him. It also opened up space for R-C not to have Hayes on his case. The Dons have good individual players, I think there is a really decent team there, but doesn't seem to be much communication or fluidity to their play at times - some misplaced passes and not reading each other as well as they should. Some cheap turnovers at corners, throw ins and free kicks too. They just need to click, when they do they will be a match for anyone.
  19. You new here too pal? Because you’re out of your element and making a complete tool of yourself. Point scoring bullshit of the back of serious racism issues, classy.
  20. I am seeing there is a small social media campaign organising applause on the 17th minute tonight in support of alleged online racism levelled at Regan Charles-Cook following Saturdays match. Would be nice if the Dons could join us in sending a clear message that Dingwall is no place for racists. ok, that last bit is tongue in cheek
  21. My dad has a Craig Curran mug. Its been through the dishwasher so many times now his face has almost completely faded. Faded like the memory of him up front laying it off for Boyce to slot home. Sad times all round.
