Should have been out of sight in first half after a nervy start and Sneds howler.Can't really fault anyone today after the last few performances.MoTM for me wee Stevie.... again almost back to his unplayable best . Big Brian had another fallow game which means he's due to score again soon going by previous cycles but would like to see an out and out poacher coming in during Jan window.Failing that give Adeloye or Diack more play time . As for Queens they huffed and puffed but look like a haunted team....fair play to their 180 odd fans for staying to the bitter end . ..

Is there any correlation between United's slump in form and Docherty being missing from squad ?.Just curious as he seemed to be the catalyst ,along with Holt,for our drubbing at Firhill . Anyhoos ,Merry Xmas !

Awful playing conditions but felt Inverness able to play better football by keeping the ball on the ground and not speculatively punting aimless ,long and high balls into a swirling mess as we did in second half. We shaded first half after a god awful start ,however, apart form two cracking Fitzpatrick crosses across goal begging for a tap in we were rank on second half and let Inverness boss us .In saying that I don't think Sneddon had a save to make. File under "Thank feck thats over" and move on .

Can't think of any game we've played this season on full Bhoona for 90 mins and can't see it happening until we get central midfield sorted . All the potential for a disappointing day after last night's stumbles by the top two ....ah feck it ...3-1 Jags .

Far from convincing but at least we're starting to win ugly,see games out and grind out the points....next up... Duncan's "heavily smoked" Donuts .

Disable our defensive self destruct button and we have every chance of winning this .To score 3 goals away from home after being 2 down and lose is just not acceptable .

A lot of Thistle fans bemoaning Raith's First and Fourth goals stemming from a dubious corner and free kick. I don't buy that as these decisions usually balance themselves up over course of a season . What we should be more concerned with is our profligate and at times amateurish central defence who should have been tighter,quicker , joined up and would have seen the points go West .

That big Holt shaped hole at CB continues to haunt us but should not detract from a competent looking Raith worthy of their win tonight.

Raith have been a bit of a bogey team for us recently and now seem to be on a rich vein of form.In saying that if we play like we did in first half against Airdrie ,but keep the form going for a whole game, then who knows. Still fancy Raith to get the points but would be happy with a draw.

Stanway is growing into that position and is doing great for such a young player,however,am sure once we get an upgrade on Banzo(sorry Banzo you'll always be a legend ) we'll stop a lot of the rot in midfield as was evidenced yesterday in second half when Airdrie strolled up the park with ease.

Typical Jeckyll and Hyde Thistle performance yesterday.In almost complete control in first half and should have been 3 or 4 ahead.Second half was a mainly dithering/nervy mess after losing a goal and we have Airdrie's lack of a decent striker and a commanding performance from Sneddon to thank for the 3 points in the end . We really need ,dare I say , a Docherty type in midfield breaking up play and not afraid to take knocks...Banzo's just not up to it anymore and needs to be a priority in January window .
